I had a disappointing experience with customer service. Amber, the lady who answered my call, was polite, however, when I called back, the male representative was rather disrespectful.

We requested an ETA as our septic system had issues. This is a common question that everyone asks, so we were confused as to why he hung up on us. We were shocked by his rudeness. That same representative ended the call with our landlord too, which left a strong impression on him.

After that, we reached out to Bigfoot Pumping & Thawing. They were courteous and arrived within an hour. This is how any reasonable business should operate. Maybe the man we talked to was just having a rough day? It always astonishes me how many people express dissatisfaction about their finances, yet they seem unwilling to put in the effort to work!

I have been a customer of Bigfoot since acquiring my home.

The technicians came only 40 minutes after my call after I reached out. It turned out that the line was frozen.

A steam truck came a few hours later. As the steam truck was leaving, the pump truck arrived right away.

I got friendly, fast service from the operator to the field guys.

All in all, I appreciate the service provided by Bigfoot Pumping & Thawing.

I contacted Bigfoot Pumping & Thawing yesterday to pump my septic system, yet thawing service arrived instead. I informed them my tank was experiencing backflow, and all it needed was a pump. The technician thawed my pipes anyway.

After completing the thawing, he presented a bill for $300 and claimed my tank was full and required pumping. He said he would return with the pumping truck. He actually came back, pumped the septic tank and after the pumping, he mentioned he removed about 1500 gallons, resulting in an additional cost beyond the initial quote of $415. He charged me $645 for the total pumping.

Overall, I ended up spending $945 for less than 2 hours of service. I felt cheated. I feel this business takes advantage of customers, especially during weekends. It was an awful experience, and I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

I contacted BigFoot Pumping & Thawing five days ago to schedule a septic tank pumping as well as to purchase the sewer line camera inspection service to check if the lines were OK.

A courteous representative told us that they had a pump truck available this afternoon, but the camera wouldn't be available until another day. We accepted that. She inquired about the road conditions given the winter weather, and we replied that we would update them soon after we drove on them.

We reached out again soon after to update them that the roads were good for travel. They said they would call us when on their way earlier that morning. Unfortunately, they neither called nor arrived, so we reached out again for an update. They stated it was too late now, and promised to call us before scheduling another visit, but they could not provide a timeline for when they would be available.

Several days later, we called to get an update regarding their expected arrival, but received no estimate. They said they would call us before coming out. On the fifth day, they finally called to say they could come out to steam the sewer lines. I explained that we needed the septic tank pumped first for any cleaned material to have a place to drain to if steaming was necessary prior to the camera inspection.

The representative was abrupt and disrespectful, and he said they wouldn't be able to come out soon if steaming wasn't done today. He mentioned that a pump truck was not available today. I questioned why they didn't come out as promised on the first day when they said a pump truck was ready, and he responded with hostility, and said to call someone else and hung up. Unbelievable. I reached out again and he repeated that I should find another company, and told me not to contact them again.

We have remained patient, polite, and respectful, but the representative at BigFoot Pumping & Thawing was consistently rude and agitated from the start. Completely disrespectful, irritable, and excessively rude. We will find a different service, and will be sure to recommend anyone else other than this company. We did not say anything that justified such treatment. Their disorganized service approach leads to unnecessary costs, and an undesirable experience!!! I recommend that others consider different companies.

{We have relied on Bigfoot Pumping & Thawing three times during the last few years. In each new home we've settled in, we faced a blockage. We tried a standard plumbing service for our initial property, that brought a snake tool. Their visit lasted under half an hour and charged us $250.

On the other hand, Bigfoot Pumping & Thawing came out and executed a comprehensive unclogging, staying three times longer and charging $100 less. On each occasion they completed a superb job, proving their dedication to customer satisfaction and it is evident.

I highly recommend their services for clog problems. Their expertise is exceptional in the industry. You will be pleased.

I called Bigfoot Pumping & Thawing to arrange a thaw for the water tank's pipes on 1/7/2020 at 9:20 in the morning. I was advised that they would call prior to their arrival.

The person who answered the phone was extremely rude. I called again for a status update almost 6 hours later at 3 PM and I was informed we were sixth in line and they would call when they were on their way. Once again, the representative was extremely rude.

I contacted the next day at the morning of 1/8/2020 for a status update and the man who answered was incredibly unprofessional and said we were fifteenth in line. Upon asking how we dropped from sixth to fifteenth, he raised his voice and told me he would cancel our service and ended the conversation abruptly.

I understand it is frigid right now. I understand that the team is likely overwhelmed. I remained polite and was very understanding. I only wanted to call to try and get an update on when we could expect them out to address our water system since someone had to be home. As a result, I need to join another service's waiting list.

I cannot recommend or recommend this company. Highly unprofessional and disrespectful.

I had a problem with our toilet and shower getting clogged. After I contacted the landlord, she assured me that the plumbing service would reach out to me shortly to schedule an appointment. Approximately eight hours later, I felt the need to call them to check on the status of my request.

The representative informed me on the first day that it might take a couple of days to get someone out. It was frustrating, but I understood the situation. The following day, I called again to see if they could come to my house that day.

The customer service team told me that some council needed to review it before they could proceed, and then they hung up. I reached out again and asked if I was on the schedule for that day. They told me that they would not be coming at all. I received no service, just felt like I was being pushed around for about 36 hours.

I would not recommend engaging the services of Bigfoot Pumping and Thawing. I called them to request a price for the steaming service for my well. They quoted me two hundred dollars and mentioned they could perform the service today, maybe on the following day.

The property that needed steaming is located in the North Pole area. We live in the Fairbanks area, which is about a 45-minute journey away. We didn't get a notification from Bigfoot that day to inform us if they would arrive, so we called them around 4:00 PM to ensure they were not coming for the service since we would be away.

After arriving home at 5:17 o'clock, I received a call from Kurt to inform us he had a truck en route, and it was about 5 minutes from our location. We informed him we were back home and it would take us approximately 45 minutes to arrive. His reply was he didn't care as long as there was someone present to handle the payment.

So, we headed to the property in North Pole to connect with Bigfoot. The steaming service was performed on our well (we received what we asked for). When the bill came. It was a price of $300 instead of $200. I reached out the office and was informed that the additional fee was for after hours.

I was surprised and asked, “What does that mean after hours?” I never asked for the extra service. He said, “Well, you didn't not request it either.” He interpreted our 4 o'clock phone call as a request him to dispatch someone immediately. That was not the message we left.

His demeanor was unprofessional and kept saying, “You didn't ask.” Essentially, because we inadvertently contacted him to check there was no service that day, we ended up the negative experience. I paid three hundred dollars for the job and had to put up with an unprofessional individual who showed no concern for his customers.

His communication is vague about the services offered. It's inappropriate to inform a potential customer you can arrive today when you are not available. If he knew on applying an after-hours charge, he should have told me upfront so I could consider if that was within my budget. For the record, I take responsibility because, in his view, I was expected to ask those specific questions.

I regret that I relied on you and provided you with my patronage. I will not be doing business with him and will be sure that my friends and family does either. Good luck with your poor service!

On Friday, we had an appointment for our septic pumping. They sent out 2 drivers and a larger truck. The driver said they couldn't get to the septic because they had a load on and the truck was too heavy. Their attitude was rude, and they seemed uninterested in my concerns.

Bigfoot ended up sending another driver in a smaller truck. This driver, Jonathan, was awesome! He navigated the route I recommended through the yard with precision. Other than the rude first drivers and the snippy dispatcher, they did their best to get our septic pumped. Thank you, Jonathan!

This may be the worst business I've ever interacted with.

I found the owner to be disrespectful and hasty, trying to charge me extra for services on a Saturday after they missed their appointments on Wednesday and Thursday.

Upon their arrival on Friday, the quality of work they provided was subpar and poorly executed.

I strongly recommend steering clear of this company.

My experience with Bigfoot Pumping & Thawing has been frustrating and disappointing.

The owner's behavior was unkind and uncooperative.

Not honoring their scheduled times is a major issue.

I did not receive value for the money I spent.

I suggest that others consider different plumbing services.

For plumbing services, Bigfoot Pumping & Thawing is not a dependable option.

The combination of poor service and unprofessional behavior is troubling.

I wish I had selected a different company for my plumbing services.
