We just hired BG Plumbling because we had a leak under our sink that we thought to be our hot water pipe. We were able to get an appointment with Tsanko, the owner, the same day the leak was found. We had originally scheduled to have him come at 2:00-3:00, however he called ahead of time to ask us if it was okay if he could come early. This fit our schedule even better. He showed up at 1:00 and quickly diagnosed our leak as being not only the hot water pipe but the hot water valve as well. Within a very short amount of time he was able to replace our pipe and valve with new ones. We then asked if he had time to take a look at our bathtub, as it had been having draining problems. It wasn't the stopper, it was a clog. He doesn't do clogs but gave me the information on how to fix it. And gave me a contact of a company that does if I am unable to clear it myself. He was kind and considerate and I would highly recommend him. He even took his shoes off before he came in the house, which I thought was a nice gesture.

After checking Yelp for highly rated plumbers that specialize in tankless water heaters in Fremont, BG Plumbing was one of two companies that stood out. When the first plumber didn't call back promptly, I called Tsanko this morning just after 8:30 am, explained that our unit had developed a tiny leak and wasn't working, and he said he could come by around 9 or 9:15.

Tsanko showed up right on time, and quickly diagnosed part of the problem (one of the end-caps inside the unit was slightly loose - and possibly had been since we got the unit a year and a half ago). If that had been it, he wasn't even going to charge us. However, it turned out that one of the sensors also wasn't working properly, and while talking to Navian's tech support, he removed and disassembled the small sensor, got it functioning properly, and hooked everything back up. That did the trick, and things are now back to normal. He also caught the fact that the unit had been incorrectly set to 110 degrees, even though the remote said 120 degrees (something that our contractor obviously missed). It took him just over an hour from start to finish, and the $95 price (his hourly rate) seemed reasonable.

I found Tsanko to be very friendly, methodical, and knowledgeable. It was a great experience all around, and it's nice to know that BG Plumbing is close by if we have any future problems.

Tsanko was excellent. He completely replaced the guts of a 55 year old toilet that had been "running" for more than a month. It works perfectly again. I had "repaired" it many times over the years.
He also worked on our guest bath "modern" Kohler. So high tech it couln't be "adjusted" to stop running. Replacement parts from Kohler are special order. For 40 years I've done my own repairs (and replacements). I installed this toliet 11 years ago and have "repaired its guts" twice. Since I nolonger can get down on my knees to do a replacement I got on the internet and found BG Plumbing and Tsanko. He took a call right away. I gave his an idea of the problem and what I had done in the past. He was familiar with this Kohler and gave me a price range depending on an inspection. He played with the internals a few minutes, HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. We agreed to replace it. He went to get parts (and the new toilet) and was back in less than an hour. An hour later both toilets were working properly. NO mess, no spilled water everywhere, like my repairs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

Tsanko is very dependable, reliable and overall a Great worker! He was punctual in arriving. We hired him for several jobs. He is knowledgeable, efficient and explains in detail about the job before and after completion. I would definitely hire him again. I highly recommend Tsanko.

I just hired BG Plumbing for one of my rentals and was pleased with the service I was provided from start to finish. The owner, Tsanko Rusev is totally professional. After calling his company to set up an appointment to get a bid, he met me at the property within fifteen minutes. He explained what the problem was and how much it would cost for the repair. He put me at ease from our first phone conversation. I will recommend his service to my friends. It's easy to see why he gets so many excellent reviews on yelp He deserves them!

This is actually the second time Tsanko has come to our rescue! The first time, we were having issues with our toilet and he quickly helped fix the BIG problem... but there was a smaller problem that my husband had inadvertantly introduced when he tried to fix it and so Tsanko kindly pointed out what the problem was and how to fix it. He said he could fix it too but it would cost more and it was easy to fix so perhaps give my hubby a try again. That was very nice of him to say and I appreciated his honesty in this situation.

The second time around, we sprung a leak in our bathroom sink and he fit us between two appointments; came in, fixed the pipe, checked all the seals, and presto chango...done! He is so efficient and so quick to fix any problem that seems to pop up. I appreciate his courtesy and professionalism and also he is soo sweet. He is definitely our go to guy for any plumbing needs!

A friend called Tsanko about putting in gas pipes in a kitchen. The place is not in Fremont, so it is out of his way. But he was super nice to agree to take a look before turning down the job. Atfer the visit, he agree to take on the job, and because of the location, he even agreed to work on it on a Sat. Wonderful guy! Long story short, the best and most important feedback about Tsanko is he did a FANTASTIC job. He is PUNCTUAL (on both visits), THOROUGH, CLEAN, CAREFUL. And he gives you a peace of mind that the job is well done.

I called yesterday about replacing my leaky garbage disposal. Today Tsanko arrived at my door, 3 minutes early, with the new disposal in hand.
Zip! Zap! Done! He'd replaced the old one. He took a bit longer to test the seals and functioning on the new one. He removed the debris and was ready to go.
Very quick, efficient and good at explaining the whats and whys. I'm happy.

Yelp does it again. I needed a reliable plumber who would charge a fair price and was impressed by Tsanko's 5 star rating. I had a poorly installed kitchen sink faucet that I could not tighten. Tsanko quoted $145.00 to remove the faucet, drilled out the plywood backing and reinstalled the faucet. He sowed up right on time, was neat in his work and charged his quoted price even though it took longer to complete than expected as it is a tight space to work in. I will definitely use him again.

It's a great thing to have a great plumber! My shower/tub replacement was a nightmare - every step presented a challenge that required Tsanko to come up with a creative solution. I don't know if other plumbers would have stuck with it, but Tsanko just continued to figure out what needed to be done. The problems required him to work longer and do more than he initially estimated. However, when he gave me the total bill , it was no more than what he told me it would be. Completely trustworth and a really nice guy. He is going to have a very successful business - My only concern is that when the word gets out on this guy, he'll be so busy, I'll have to wait a week for an appointment!
