James was very patient and great at problem solving. Logan was also very helping in contacting the service managers and getting appropriate service people in a timely fashion.

I will never use or recommend Beverly Services to anyone again. I recommended them to a client of mine to have a sewer video done on a house that they were buying. We had a confirmed appointment for 8:00am, which I had to schedule someone to be at the home to meet the technician. The tech never showed up, so I called in to the office and spoke to the manager (very rude) and was told that the tech went to a dr's appointment to get a prescription and he should be there around 10-10:30. I explained that I was paying someone to be there because this home is vacant and we needed an exact time. I was told that they couldn't give me an exact time and I should understand that emergencies come up. I explained that I should have been called if the tech was not going to be at the appointment. This whole conversation the manager was extremely rude. When the technician finally showed up he didn't even have the right equipment with him and had to have someone else bring it. To top things off we were told that he was unable to scope the pipes because of rust. We had to have another company come out who had no problems at all doing the job.

Chrissy, the service person, Did an exceptionally good job of explaining to me what the problems were and what needed to be done. I'm satisfied that my furnace is in good shape for the upcoming winter season.

Horrible and incompetent . In 1995 we hired them for extensive AC DUCTWORK and the morons covered spotlights with insulation causing a house fire and hundreds of thousands in damages.

Our insurance company Liberty mutual sued them. They eventually settled out of court. They were guilty but never acknowledged their guilt.

There was a very long fire report.

Beverly put out lives in danger.

After we moved into a new house, we had a 12 month home warranty provided by the seller. We noticed a leaking zone valve on our boiler system, so we filed a home warranty claim.

Bethany came to replace the valve, but they left without bleeding air out of the pipes. It required three trips from their people over the course of three days to keep trying to bleed more air out of the pipes, with none of them doing a satisfactory job. During this process, we didn't have heat in some zones of the house and our kids had to go sleep at a relative's house. Even after three visits, they still had not restored heat to all parts of the house, and the pipes were still very noisy.

We finally called the service company that had installed the boiler and done maintenance on it in the past. They fixed it in half an hour. Given our poor experience with Beverly, we don't recommend people use them.

Cap blew off chimney pipe during rain storm, water was leaking around pipe on furnace. They came next day, found part, got it here a sap , fixed it quick, checked furnace as well. Price reasonable. Friendly and knowledgeable, very professional . Even customer service caller that let me know they were coming was very friendly! Highly recommended!

Service area in Belle Vernon, Pa.
We moved into a new house in May. As the weather became warm enough to use the AC, we noticed that we were getting air flow but no cooling. We found some helpful info online and determined that we had no coolant in the system. Our home warranty company contacted Beverly on our behalf.

The repair took 3 days, left our heating out of service which will need another repair before winter, and was one of the worst combined customer service experiences we've had.

On the first day, the time window we were given was noon-4, and the tech was supposed to call me with a 30min notice of his arrival. At 4:30 I called customer service having heard nothing from a technician. Customer service made excuses that they were down a technician and that I had been pushed back to accommodate their lack of available workers. The girl on the phone was very impatient and seemed to be upset at me for asking about my service. At 6:30 I received my call from the technician and at 7:30 he arrived. The first order of business was alerting me that I would be charged $75 for the deductible just for him to show up. He continued to tell me what a hard day he had had because someone either quit or was fired-- the technician who happened to cover my area. He said that he didn't even know that I was on the schedule until right before he called me - at 6:30pm!
He inspected the pressure in my cooling system, found that it was all but empty and would need to perform further inspection of the unit to determine the root of the problem. This would take some extra time and he said to me ""I don't want to be working until 9pm."" So he charged me the deductible and left, with customer service to call me for my next appointment.

Several days later, a different technician showed up, again after the time window, and performed the inspection (which took less than 15 min). A coil needed to be replaced. But he couldn't do this because he needed to order the part and submit a request to the home warranty company. (My warranty clearly states that ALL components of the unit are covered.) Again I called customer service to try to schedule a time window that would not require me to miss additional work. The girl on the phone sounded irritated and said that they give a window and the tech would call me with a 30 min warning. That was the best they could do, which is no different than their current policy.

On the third visit, two new technicians showed up to perform the repair. After they had swapped out the damaged coil and filled the coolant, they showed me that the vent for the gas heating system was not connected by twisting and pulling a section of PVC out of the ceiling. They left two sections of PVC pipe on the floor and said that they would have to be called back to my house for a separate repair. I cannot use my furnace for heating due to a complete lack of ventilation which would result in CO poisoning.

The kicker is that after all of this, we were sent a notice from Beverly that stated on the final repair call, they noticed that a component of the outdoor unit appeared to be bent as if hit by a lawn mower or trimmer. We can't see anything that looks damaged and the part that they are describing is not exposed to being struck by lawn maintenance. Just another attempt to swindle us.

May 9 2015... Had Beverly services come to service my AC. The unit made terrible rattling sounds and whistling coming from duct work after they finished the job. Called them to come back and fix what they messed up and they made appt. for any time after 12 pm,. As of 9 pm they have not shown or called about the appointment. Customer service is horrible. It is Friday evening so I guess it will be like this the entire weekend as they don't send out service on weekends. Can't even get a hold of anyone bc the office is closed

I contracted them to perform a sewage line inspection for a home I wanted to buy. First, they told me that my Realtor had to be there to open the lock box to let them in. I called, set that up, the Realtor called them with her contact information so they could call her when they were ready. They will ONLY give you a half hour notice of when they're going to arrive.
I called the day before to confirm that my realtor was their contact. Day of I have four missed calls from them (I was in a work meeting) call to notify me I had a half hour to get to the house to let them in. They never called my realtor. Said they had no information to call her.
Finally, they worked it out, get to the house, can only do half the test because of snow they couldn't find the man hole. Doesn't matter that they did half the test - they still charge FULL price. Also, when my realtor arrived to meet them only half their crew showed up - the person with the camera wasn't there and they all had to wait.
And last but not least, I never got a report from them. I had to call and ask for the results. When I asked the customer service rep why I never received anything her reply was, ""Not everyone wants to know."" Really? Why would you pay $249 for a service and not want the results?
I would never use this company again.

Ahhh Beverly, what happened since 2012? I first used this business when my hot water tank went out...it wasn't leaking but I was having the hardest time trying to light the pilot. Not trying to blow up my house, I called them. They promptly got back to me, had a technician come out, and he said I had an issue with the thermocoupler. After a replacement, all was good.
I called them recently because the same water heater is now leaking. You know, leaks are no good...almost always means you need a new one. And of course this happens on a weekend. I called Beverly at 9pm on Sat...and the rep states ""I can't schedule you an appointmnet"". So I ask her what my options are. She told me that they could have a plumber come out, but since it's after 7pm, the service fee would be $119. Come one, really? She told me if I called in the morning it would be $79. So I called in the morning. The woman indicated that the technician would call me back - and he did. We discussed prices...and that's as far as we got. For a standard 40 gallon water heater to be installed...they were talking in excess of $800 with everything. It took everything within my power not to scream. That's highway robbery! I'm not stupid, I know how much a hot water tank costs...and I have to assume they must think I'm stupid...which is an insult. I ended up going with another company, who was much more reasonable. So all you yelpers out there, please don't waste your time with this company.
