We had to have a new valve installed to replace the old one above the water heater.

Beutler does great world, very knowledgeable and courteous.

So why 3 Stars, Beutler is very very expensive, They charged me $480 to replace a sweat shutoff valve and 2 flex hoses. It took the Beutler technician just over an hour to do the work. We were between a rock and a hard place, no hot water until valve was replaced!!

By-the-way, valve and flex hoses together would have cost me around $30.

It was an emergency and Beutler took advance of this fact, so, unless you're a Trump family member I'd look elsewhere for a plumber.

Beutler installed our new HVAC system in 2015. Here we are 2016 and the heater is not working. I called for service and all I got was a sales pitch for the Maintenance Package, how I will get ""priority"" on service calls instead of waiting the usual THREE WEEKS for a service technician and of course, many other perks. No warranty, no loyalty or customer service for a unit just a little over a year old! After reading the reviews, I elected to call a local competitor, which we should have done at the time of purchase. Follow the advice of others, look elsewhere for a company who will stand by their clients and products. They have a lot to learn regarding referrals and word of mouth. This company only wants your money and once the sales associate is in your home, they are high pressure.

Last evening we experienced a sewage pipe issue that resulted in our downstairs flooding with sewage water. It was absolutely disgusting! We left a few messages for plumbers/plumbing services, figuring we would end up paying a lot for after hours emergency service. Got a call back from Steve Torres with Beutler within about a half hour after leaving a message. He was able to come out and resolve our issue (tree root invasion) at a very reasonable cost. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and such a pleasure to work with. We were so impressed with his commitment to excellent customer service, especially since it seems we are living in a world where good customer service is no longer seen as a priority. I would highly recommend using Beutler for your plumbing needs. I know they earned a repeat customer thanks to Steve!

Don't waste your time with this company. I scheduled an appointment to which they never showed up. I called the customer service 916-696-8721 and spoke with Sheril, she did not even apologize the inconvenience but continued in rude manner to be dishonest claiming I had been informed which or course was not the case. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them.

If this website had a zero slot that's were my grade would sit. Folks, hide your wallet with these guys. My mother (88 years old on a fixed income and a customer for over a decade) had them remove and reinstall (R&R) a basic water heater. Cost $3,400. After learning from others that this was an exorbitant price she called to query. She was told the agent involved was no longer with the company and my mother's records were conveniently missing. Later requests for a receipt (detailed version not supplied by the tech upon installation completion, just a form stating ""Replace a water heater""). A receipt reflecting component costs and labor costs is required for select environmental governmental energy rebates. The company has not provided such a receipt for a number of months now.

With no cooperation coming from the company I researched and found that the going rate for this particular water heater was about 7-800 bucks and I saw the same water pump at Home Depot for $200. Charges for the same with installation was $2.500 for the water heater, $900 for the water pump.This turns out as $1,700 to install a $800 heater and $700 to install a $200 water pump. Job was completed by one man in less than a day.

The installation: the government inspector said a decent electrical hookup and a pipe to drain the water pump's splash pan were required. The electrical requirement was correctly done (by a different tech who actually knew something about electricity). The solution to the missing pipe was to just remove the splash pan which my mother obviously initially paid for.

I repeat, watch yourself with this group. They obviously don't care who they take to the cleaners.

To say I'm disappointed and frustrated with Beutler would be an understatement. We called them to address a leak on our AC unit that they installed 9 years ago. Unfortunately not the first service call. The technician that arrived was prompt, courteous and clean. He explained the issue, potential solutions, and scheduled a follow-up a appointment for an estimator to provide a quote on the various options. That cost $90 which I was more than happy to pay. I take a second day off of work for the appointment with the estimator and he or she no-shows. First of all I'm not thrilled to spend several thousand dollars to fix a unit that is nine years old. Second, don't have me take a day off work and no-show. I understand that things come up. I wish I would have received a courtesy call to explain that you're going to be late or need to reschedule. I'm not going to bother calling them to ask where they are, I've already called two other companies to schedule an appointment.

Had a drainage problem on AC unit. Had someone come out to check it and discovered that the drainage system was improperly installed. Was informed by builder that Beutler installed the unit, so I called them. Service Rep was pleasant enough but that was where it all ended. They informed me the charge was $89.00 for the service call. Rep cleaned the drain but also ""found"" a $10.00 capacitor that was supposedly leaking. In the end, he charged me $219.10 for the capacitor and $175.00 to install it (essentially to plug it in), in addition to the $89.00 service call charge. He also had the audacity to say that they did not make any money on the capacitor. He also never mentioned that the drain was installed improperly and that it was his company that was responsible for the faulty work. Interestingly, a whole bunch of neighbors have the same problems. Never again, and I don't care how many fancy trucks they have. What a rip off!

One more 1 star review for these crooks. They came to install a brand new AC/Heating unit and they gave me a quote twice as high as their competitor's. I inquired about their pricing structure and they gave me some B.S. that not even a 5 year old kid could believe. I expect them to be out of business in one or two month because people are spreading the word and nobody else will be using their services, at least I will never think about calling them again.
