I give this company a zero star, I purchased two toilets from Home Depot. I needed them installed and they use this horrible company. Paid 199 for each toilet to be installed. When he was done he noticed we are doing some kitchen remodeling. I ask if they installed sinks. He said yes about 150.00 to install. When he left I noticed both toilets were not level. I called to have them fix both toilets and install sink. When he arrived to install sink he said we don't install sinks. I told him the last guy said you do and Heather said you do. Now you ready for what was said next. He said if I install it will have to charge you 1,100.00 no not a miss print. I said you smoking crack or what, just fix the toilets. Called office manager would not speak to me another person said yes we do not want to be held responsible if it leaks. Are they not plumbers. He said what I was told was wrong and hung up. PEOPLE STAY CLEAR OF THIS HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY
If there's any company that deserves a negative rating for customer service it has to be Beutler Air Conditioning & Plumbing in Sacramento. Earlier this year I called to make an appointment to have my HVAC (less than 2yrs old) unit serviced because it wasn't working. I was told a technician would call me back and schedule an appointment... never happen. Called them back a few days later and was told I would get a call back... again didn't happen. The unit didn't get fixed and I went without A/C this summer.
Now it's heading into winter and my HVAC still is not working and we have not heat. So I called Beutler on Monday (11/9/20) once again to see if I could get an appointment to have my unit serviced. They took my information and booked me an appointment for Friday (11/13/20) between 11am - 3pm. Then they call me tonight Thur. (11/12/20) and leave a message at 5:30pm saying that they're very busy, need to reschedule my appointment, and or I should call another company for service!!
After calling to inquire why my appointment was getting canceled, I was informed that they had other ""priority"" members in my area who needed heat. They proceeded to inform me that they give priority scheduling and service to their annual members and will CANCEL non-member appointments at any time if the demand for service it too great for annual members.
Never at any point while booking my appointment was I told annual member appointments take precedence over non-member service appointments and that my service could be canceled at any time. Nor was I even given an option to become an annual member, informed of the cost, benefits etc.
They call me the night before my appointment and cancel on short notice after I've already taken work off to meet their technician, and tell me other people in my area's heat needs are more important, and still don't even offer or solicit any information to me on becoming an annual member... WTF? seriously? I guess they don't want more business but this has to be the one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever experienced. Beutler Air Conditioning & Plumbing SUCKS!!!
K I.We signed up for a heater maintenance service and discovered our heater was no longer working. It wouldn't turn on at all. The service person set up an appointment for someone to come over with new heater options.

Ron Eggers was very knowledgeable and courteous.
He addressed all of our concerns. Based on his recommendation, we ended up replacing both the heater and air conditioner as a unit. Ron never pushed or tried to persuade us to replace our air conditioner, that had been working fine, but showed us the rusted and corroded coils that would soon need to be replaced. And due to our unit being an older one, it would be sooner rather than later. The new unit would also be more energy efficient. We would recommend Beutler because of their employee, Ron Eggers!
They are lucky to have someone like him working for them. He is courteous and very knowledgeable.

Been using Beutler since moving into our home 20 years ago, and even had them replace our HVAC system a few years ago. After our experience this year, will not be using them anymore.
Tried to make an appt back in July for AC tune up, but they couldn't get me in until early October When the date came around, nobody showed up. I called asking where the technician is, and they said that I wasn't on their calendar!! They said did I receive a confirmation call the day before, and I said no. So then I tried to setup another appt, which wasn't until late October. I asked if I could receive some kind of email confirmation as proof this time, and they said they don't provide that.
Anyway, it's now late October, and the day before the appt, I did not receive a confirmation call ... so I call them to confirm! They said since I'm first up on the calendar that I won't receive a confirmation call ... what?? Anyway, day of appt, and after waiting several hours after the set appt time, I call asking where the technician is. They said they are short on staff and they need to reschedule to 12pm. 1pm rolls around and I call back asking where the technician is, and they said he's on the way. It will be 30 mins. 1 hour later, I call back and just cancelled. I'm tired of being jerked around.
All I wanted was an AC tune up several months ago. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

They'll seem very friendly and will even price match other competitor just to get you to spend $10K+ on a new unit/service with them but once you pay them, good luck getting a hold of them. I've called and left message literally 20+ time but nothing. They made holes in my wall, left smudges on my ceiling, lost a screw to my A/C filter cover, etc. If possible, go with a different company. One that care about their customer, not just their money.
Arlene L.We have had Beutler maintain our HVAC since we moved into our home 4 years ago. Their service program is definitely worth it. They send a technician in the spring and fall to check your system and keep it well maintained. Our home has a SmartVent system and it is a lifesaver. It is quiet and doesn't require you to open windows at night to cool down your house. Last November we had our Beutler technician install a state-of-the-art whole-house UV air filtration system that removes 99.9% of all bacteria from the air as it passes through. That has helped our household tremendously, especially with seasonal pollen and of course the smoke from our ever-incressing fire season in California. Just 2 days before moving to our new home, our existing furnace motor burned out (it was the original motor from 2005). We called the fire dept because there was a burnt plastic smoke coming from our air vents! The fire fighters cut power to the HVAC system and told us to call our HVAC provider. I called Beutler and they scheduled a technician to come first thing the next morning. Jason identified the problem immediately, drove all the way to the supplier and back, installed our new motor and saved the day! Because of his quick action, he was able to procure the LAST motor that the supplier had on hand. Jason had to clear a couple hours out of his scheduled appointments in order to make this happen. Bottom line? Beutler trusts their technicians to make decisions. They understand that each scenario requires quick problem solving. I will continue to use Beutler at our new 4,800 sq ft home. Quality people- from their booking and sales staff, to their technicians. Thank you Beutler and especially thank you to Jason for enabling us to get our existing home on the market as planned!
All in all a terrible experience from the management to the the repairman. Our air conditioner went out on a Monday, couldn't get an appointment until Wednesday. They wanted to replace the motor instead of repair it, which would have saved us about $800. They finally agreed, but charged us an Extra $100 for expedited shipping, and made an appointment on Saturday. They never showed up. I had to call them and they said that the warehouse was closed and they didn't have the part and that we would have to wait for three days (btw it was record heat and bad air). The dispatcher said she would put us in touch with the manager and did not. They finally fixed it on the following Tuesday.
Was very disappointed with our service. Several hundred dollars later we were told everything was good. 35 days later tech is back out due to air conditioner not working again. This time the tech actually goes in the attic. Only replaces the part that blew last time. Anyway long story short, called someone else, and now need a whole new system. 850.00 wasted on this company...

Carla C.Phoned for an air conditioning repair service and got a next-day appointment from Donna. Jonathan came out and diagnosed the problem. After replacing the capacitor, the Lennox unit was up and running. Fortunately, there was a quick fix during a hot week. Thanks to the professional and courteous staff ar Beutler. All COVID protocols in place. I was very pleased with their service.
