Michael G.If I could give no stars I would. AHS sent out Bestway Mechanical and they suggested a water heater replacement. They also padded the invoice with items that would be out of pocket for me in the amount of $850. AHS supplies a replacement water heater and pays them to install it. The $850 was additional. They list them as """"modifications"""". My only fault is with Bestway Mechanical and I am suggesting the American Home Shield stop using them.
American Home Shield sent them to look at my water heater. They wanted to charge $800 to install. AHC would supply the device. We did not need any modifications. Fortunately, our usual contractor made an opening. $250.

T C.This company is not ethical. Had to send out 3 times to make repair from HSA warranty. When it came to repairing the many holes placed in wall for small leaky. They lie in order to have more service calls sent to them and keep their claim count low. Reported repair on drywall complete but no repair made and recommended use another company.
My home warranty used this company today to come to my house and fix my water lines ( main house line, sink line and line to the toilet) the technician Scott was incredibly rude and said the only thing on the work order was the toilet line. I told him we requested all 3 to be done. My husband called our home warranty to have the work order corrected. Well wile that was happening Scott asked me where the main line was to the house and asked which sink line. I showed him both. He said the sink line was not normal wear and tear. That I understood, because the turn off valve was broken from where it snapped, however he than said the main water line was also not normal wear and tear. That is what I didn't understand because the only time it was used was to hand turn when Turing the house water off. My house was built in 1973 and the main house line has never been changed or fixed since that time. When I told him that he got rude with me again saying that he already put it in his report and none of it would be covered by my warranty and decided to give me pricing on how much he would charge to fix it. He asked for us to sign the paperwork stating none of the issues were normal wear and tear. When I told him to speak to my husband about it he got a bigger attitude about that. I would never recommend these people to anyone with how rude they are. I will be calling my home warranty people as well telling them to cancel it all and calling another plumber that is less rude to their customers
Dusty came out today to fix my broken garbage disposal. He was a natural problem-solver. He was friendly, respectful and professional. I'd have him back in my home to resolve my next plumbing problem.
Tamira M.Dusty was extremely professional and quick from start to finish. I was assigned this business via my American Home Shield warranty. I immediately received a text confirmation for my appointment. On the service day, Dusty both texted and called me to provide an ETA. He arrived on time, assessed the problem, explained the service, and completed the service within 10-minutes. I appreciated Dusty respecting my home by wearing shoe covers. He also addressed me as Ms. Last Name- which was respectful. Dusty provided my receipt and was on his way to the next appointment. I recommend for a simple toilet repair.
I have AHS and called to fix my Hot Water Heater and they sent BestWay Mechanical, Inc. They did replace my hot water heater, the issue is they damaged our basement flooring by dragging the old hot water heater across the floor, they damaged our stairs, and when they reached the top level they dragged the hot water heater across our hardwood floors leaving scratches and dents. They also damaged sheetrock where the piping for the Hot Water heater went. I have called and emailed Wendy at their office. No response. Please be warned. Do not use them.
American Home Shield sent Bestway Mechanical Plumbing to my home for a leaking toilet. BIG MISTAKE!!! The contractor who said that he was the owner not only NOT fix my toilet, he was to concerned about the number of instruments that my husband has and also wanted to fill me in on his lady issues. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCOMPETENT when it comes to his profession. DO NOT allow this company in your home or business!!!
I was skeptical at first because of all of the negative reviews, but Devin and the other gentlemen were timely, professional and knowledgeable. On top of that, they resolved my issue. I would definitely use them again.
