I give them ZERO STARS. Bestway Mechanical came out to my home after I called American Home Shield (AHS) in Aug to fix some plumbing issues I had. I had to go back and forth with them on getting my replacement part then but they finally got it in after I spoke to a supervisor since the other two reps seemed not to care and would leave me on hold. The beginning of last week we smelled gas and called the gas company, they came out and turned off our gas because there was no shut off for the pipe leading into our gas meter that was leaking. The gas company told us we had to get a plumber to cut off the pipe and have the piece left on the gas meter capped off and the gas company would come back out and turn the gas back on. I called Bestway Mechanical and spoke with Beth who said since I was an AHS customer, I would need to go through them so they could give them an order. She called them on 3 way to make that happen and when asked if the pipe was on the inside she told them yes. When I spoke to the technician Dusty who came out he said it was not covered under my home warranty because even though the pipe started on the inside it ran outside and underneath the ground. He said he would have to dig up the pipe in order to disconnect it. I knew that was a lie because the gas person told us what had to be done. Plus we had something like this done at our old house. Dusty insisted he had to dig it up. That would have cost us $2,500 according to him. So I told him I'll call another plumber. Mind you I already paid them $75 service fee to come out which I would not get back. At that point, Dusty realized he could just cap it off at the meter and that would be $200 on top of the $75 I already paid. Given I would I have to get more estimates and needed our gas turned back on, I paid what I thought was an overcharge. He was finished in less than 20 minutes. I will have AHS remove Bestway Mechanical from the list of contractors to send out to my home. IAfter dealing with Beth and Dusty and their lies I'm done. I will also be letting my clients know not to use them. They have proved they will do anything to make a Thousand Dollars off of a client. I just noted on my credit card bill today that they also charged me an Extra $6 for using my credit card without telling me. Yes, I disputed it. One deceitful Lie after another.

We had a TERRIBLE experience with this company. They are extremely hard to get in touch with, we left multiple messages and sent multiple email with no response. For the first appointment the tech left my husband a message that he was on the way, and so my husband let me know. He never showed and it took 2 days to get in touch with them and the excuse was that since my husband didn't call him back, he didn't come. Ridiculous. Took another week to get another appointment after we had AHS put in the call since no one responded to our calls. I could go on, but the bottom line is they are terrible and rude, and there are so many other companies out there that will treat you well, so chose another company.

I really was disappointed by this company due to the lack of communication from their home office. I also disagreed with their additional charges when making a payment. That being said, the employees that visited my house were always polite and professional. They worked hard and efficiently.

Very poor customer service. I called this company and spoke with Kelley(Dispatcher). Kelley was very disrespectful and very sassy during my call. My only goal was to ensure the technician was going to make the appointment time because their was only 30 minutes left before the technician would be deemed late.

Do not use this company! They merely band aide the issue and they are extremely hard to get in contact with. They will not call back for days for an emergency issue with an AC unit, while the temps outside are nearing 100 degrees.

Never again will I use their services. The technician called me once to tell me he was here. I called him back several times and left messages and he didn't answer. I finally called the office and Beth was unconcerned that he left. She said they called several times when actually they called once and I tried calling back. They refused to come back although I missed him by 2 minutes. They said they could reschedule 2 days later. And did not allow me to speak with the manager. I should've looked at the reviews before booking with them.

Worst service provider I've ever worked with. Was contracted by AHS and I am throughly dissatisfied with the service. The guys wreaked of BO & were not informative. No answer when calling the office. AC broke beginning of July and it took them 2weeks to """"fix"""". Run from this company....RUN

Tried to get a price quote on a service they previously inspected. Called the main number and they referred me to a different number. I don't know if that number is in service or not but I only get a busy signal during business hours.

The reviews for this company is correct - AHS uses them, but the service is absolutely pathetic. They gave me a 4 hour window in which they would turn up - it is now more than 2 hours after the end of the window and they have not turned up or called to say that they will be late. I have tried multiple times to phone them, and the phones remains unanswered. I spent half an hour on the phone with AHS who also tried getting hold of them - no answer.

The only reason they get two stars is for the nice guy, David. He finally got there and got my AC running. It took about 3 weeks for them to get it together with technicians, parts, etc. Find someone else.... just not worth it
