After two attempts I was finally able to be serviced. I requested a late appointment and a receptionist told me that she could not guarantee it so I missed my first appointment because the worker promise me a 30 minute window but honestly gave me a 10 minute window. I gave them a desk number to call since my cell phone doesn't work in my office he called neither he called my brother who's the home owner that lives in another state. We expressed numerous times that I am the current resident. So my last appointment she couldn't verify my time so I took off work from 1-5 expecting the technician and he did not show up until 6 O'CLOCK!!!! He came in my home for a total of ten minutes and guess what?! MY air is broken again two weeks later!

Customers beware! AHS sent them out to my house to repair my air conditioning unit. They looked at the unit and saw that a squirrel was inside. They told my husband to remove it and restart the system and it might work again. He followed their directions and it worked. The next day AHS called and said that they reported that the squirrel had chewed through the wiring. First of all, they could not see the wiring because the squirrel was blocking it. This was a bold face lie. AHS is sending another company out to confirm that the wiring was not chewed through. Do not use Best Way Mechanical! They really need to change their name to Worst Way Mechanical!

Bad, bad experience. Had to wait three business days for them to come and fix our air conditioning. We were out of town when they supposedly fixed it. Came back and it wasn't repaired. Wired completely wrong. We called back and they can't come out to fix their mistake for another three days. We are now on 14 days without air-conditioning. I have no idea how businesses like this one stay in business. I guess it is because they are a vendor that American Home Shield uses.

Bestway was called through my home warranty company for an issue related to water in my drip pan in one of my units in the attic of my house. The water in the pan was noted to the dispatcher who called from Bestway the day before the visit. The technician arrived at my house almost 2 hours after the 8am-12PM window of time provided. While nice, he was confused about what was on the work order as there was another issue with the air working in addition to the water pan. I was told that he could only work on one issue because he was too busy and had 9 other calls to take care of. He looked at both units because we weren't sure which unit was upstairs/downstairs. He deemed that the water was not really an issue and we should just either unclog the line ourselves or get the units maintenanced. He then decided to look at the other unit and diagnosed the issue as a bush near the compressor as being too close and we should trim it or cut it down. He then told me that he added a touch of freon to both units and that all service calls almost always include a topping off of freon because a minimal amount will always be lost when serviced. He took a sharpie and marked which unit was which (he marked them incorrectly) The next day, my AC shut off because the water in the pan had gotten so much that the sensor shut off to the unit to prevent flooding. I had to remove gallons of water with a bucket in order for the unit to turn back on as it was over the weekend. Since then, the mechanic, Mark, from Bestway has denied putting freon in either unit, and has refused to come back out until maintenance is done. In the meantime, I am left with no AC unless I want to go my attic and remove buckets of disgusting water. Thanks Mark and Bestway Mechanical- top notch customer service!

this has been the worst experience ever. i called ahs who about a bathroom leak they sent out best noway mechanicals. the 1st plumber came out went in my upstairs bathroom on 4/29/17 he said he found what he thought was the problem and its was fixed and if i have any other problem call them back not ahs. by 5/5/17 my downstairs was leaking again and it was late when i got home i called bestway no answered left voice mail, they are closed the weekend so it leaked allllllll weekend on my floors, walls, desk, everything even with a bucket catching the water. long story short another person came out monday this guy say where the water was coming from he fixed the problem and said it was covered since the pervious plumber missed it. i called spoke with both lady and wendy got very smart saying she was not yelling at me yet bc i told her not to match my tone bc i was lied too. the sent a company to dry the water and cut all my damn walls and floorbords to now tell me im responsible for this $1500 for clean up oh hell no....

Awful! Awful! Awful! Incompetent and rude technicians. Job never done right! Please avoid having them work on your home. Especially if this is through AHS. Worst experience ever! Went from wanting to repair a small leak in shower faucet to a full fast flowing stream of boiling hot water. Needless to say I can't shower now without burning my feet! Omg!

Horrible. Devin came, late as hell, didn't listeb to our suggestions, visit was 5 minutes long. Another plumber came out and discredited him, turns out the problem is with the city. Glad I didn't waste any money on this company. Shame on you AHS for using them.

Very rude dispatcher! AHS sent them out to repair my toilet. They sent the same technician out twice and the toilet is still not repaired. They initially came out Friday, issue was not fixed, they made an appointment to come back Saturday, they didn't even show up. I called back Monday they promised to come today between 1 and 5pm, they showed up after 5. Meanwhile the dispatcher felt it was necessary to tell me they don't get paid for recalls so you have to answer the phone when they call to advice they in route otherwise they wont come. Dispatcher also claimed they came and no one answered the door....NOT.. add lack of integrity to the list also.

This company BestWay Mechanical is the worst company that 's contracted with American Home Shield. We have been out of heat for a month and Bestway was scheduled for Thursday Dec. 8th between 1pm-6pm It is now 9pm and we haven't heard from them. I've called Chris cell and no answer. A lot of AHS customers are having the same problems. most of the reviews read the same./

I thought I would add balance to the other reviews. Our furnace stopped working and AHS used this group to fix it. They were prompt and courteous and fixed the problem without any issue (other than they had to order a part (circuit board)). They actually were able to stop by the next day and install it. Now, I have had my fair share of AHS challenges over the years, but I am very satisfied with Bestway.
