I began my journey in the plumbing and construction industry 40 years ago in 1968. When I established Bestline Plumbing in 1973, I aimed to build a company that offered affordable options for customers while providing top-notch quality services. From the start, every customer has received an Original Owner Lifetime Guarantee on all copper repipes, sewer lines, and drain pipes, and we proudly continue to honor these guarantees 37 years later. It is more efficient, better, and cost-effective to do everything right the first time and avoid wasting time on issues later. If I take care of your job, it will be done right the first time.

STOP!! DO NOT GO TO THEM.
I received a flier from them. I thought I'd give them a call and try them out. They did have a free estimate. They came over and gave me a quote. I live in a historic district zone and found it odd that the man was saying that the work would be done in a day and with permit. I have had work done and usually the city has to approve it first. That takes at least a few weeks. I did mention this to the man. He responded that this work was different. I needed a vent for a furnace. He came back the next week to work. He was done in about 3 hours. When I went to see the job I didn't like the appearance, but I though to myself: I do not know anything about these types of jobs. My neighbor was a bit upset of the appearance too and added that it was a terrible job. They used wood to support the tubes that went up to the roof. There were straps all over the place to hold it. I called them back to find out when the inspection would be. I got a ""I do not know anything about an inspection"" from the receptionist. I later get a called explaining that It was not yet made. Before the inspection another man was sent to re-do the job. They removed the straps and did some other necessary adjustments. I waited for an inspector and no-one showed up. I was told the city was at fault. Later, they make an appointment for inspection and call the wrong inspector with a wrong job number. He comes over and he talks to them about the error they had made. This inspector also gave them a little bit of what was going to be needed or redone as a ""For Your Information"" type of courtesy call. The next day I find out the workers had come over and removed their work and left a check for the amount I had paid. They said it was too much work to have the city approve the work. They did an awful job covering the hole to the roof and my siding was also covered with some weird material. Save yourself some time and get real professionals. They did charge and arm and a leg, however. I thought maybe they were really quality people. I do not recommend the company.

Avoid Like Germs!
THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I EVER EXPERIENCED!!!!!
I called the office at 1pm and a woman promised me that a plumber would show up NO LATER THAN 4pm. The plumber called a little AFTER 4pm saying that ""I will be there in a few minutes."" NO SHOW in a few minutes. I waited till 5pm, but since the plumber hadn't shown up, I called the office to inquire about my request. The same woman answered that the plumber was on his way on 405 and should not be too long to get here. 5:30pm---NO SHOW!!! 6pm--the plumber called me that he was on 91 on Bellflower Street to get my home and would come soon. 7pm--NO SHOW AGAIN!!!
I called the office one last time and here the answering machine answered though ""BESTLINE PLUMBING serves 24hours for you!"" I left a message on the machine I WILL NEVER EVER CALL YOU AGAIN.
I just waited for the service from Bestline Plumbing in vain and had to cancel all appointments that I had made for this afternoon.
They put flyers and mugs with a logo ""MARRY A PLUMBER"" on the doors.
What a joke! WHO WANTS TO MARRY A LIAR????

Over the years I have used this company and I've always had a positive experience. Recently a friend asked for a referral to a plumber; he told me today that he was very pleased with the work that was done on his home yesterday, that the service was excellent and the price was very reasonable.

Got countless flyers for $49.00 drain cleaning and $85.00 sewer cleaning from this company in my neighborhood. I decided to give them a try yesterday morning when one of my toilet kept clogging up for the last weeks or so. Talk to someone live on the phone, Plumber,Bill, said $49 for drain cleaning and for toilet. But if toilet needs to be removed due to something clog in there then it will be more than $49.00.
My parents were at home when he arrived, said $85 to drain toilet and $49 to drain shower bath. This is only to snake both of them so after negiotiating back and forth my parents went with the $65.00 snake toilet and $49.00 snake shower bath. Took him faster to snake the toilet and shower drain than to negiotate with my parents on the costs of repairs. This guy is trying to ripp off old people and not being honest. I was not at home otherwise i would tell them to leave and don't come back ever again.
Wouldn't refer anyone to this company.

I called this company to fix a shower drain for my Mother in law, who was battling lung cancer. They said that they would send out a technician right away. After two days and a few phone calls, they said that they weren't sure when they could come out. They were rude over the phone and even lied about when they would arrive. I even wrote the owner a letter regarding the terrible service, but as you would expect, I received no response. I pray that this evil company goes out of business.

William (technician) was very nice, but after service the next day, the same problem existed! I called Leonard/owner and was told that he could not do a follow up call without charging me a full price charge. We were very unhappy and chose to call Andy Martinez Plumbing 562-453-8029. Andy had the problem solved and snaked 150ft to sewer in 15 minutes with a 1 year guarantee. Thank you Andy...no thank you to Bestlineplumbing!

My former drain guy never returned my call. He's off the list. I found these guys online and figured with the fixed price and guaranty, no risk for bs or an upsell. I was working and they dealt with my wife. I got a live person on the phone, they showed up exactly when promised, they snaked the roots from my main sewer line, and charged what was quoted on the ad.. $85 with no upsell. Not a bad deal considering two techs with a truck and a 10 mile drive each way ON SATURDAY. They were quick, efficient, and very polite to my wife. I WILL recommend them to friends and family. Momma's happy, I'm happy. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some $*** to do.

Can I give a negative star please?
I had an appt for a plumber to show up at 930 this morning. By 10am when no one showed up i called to get an eta. The rudest woman answers the phone there and she not only said that no one was dispatched to come to my home, but she spoke to me as if I was responsible for her incompetence as well as the incompetence of her company. Based on previous yelp revirews as well as my own experience I do not understand how these people are still in business. They will never get a dime of my money.

If I had only 3 words to describe these plumbers they would be;
1. Disrespectful
2. Irreverent
3.Self-serving
One of their plumber estimators, David, came out to our 100 year old home to give us an estimate for a full copper re-plumbing job we need done. I was at home alone and had made a note of several questions we had for him since we were planning on getting multiple estimates. Our home has been fully and beautifully re-modeled and I have worked with several contractors over the years, so asking a lot of questions has been paramount in assuring we hire the right contractor for this very expensive plumbing job. David was actually completely ""put out"" when I began asking him where the plumbing lines were going to be running. He mentioned they would have to drill a hole and run piping through the front of our home. Being that we have completley renovated and re-painted our home, I wanted to know a LOT more about the aesthetics of what his crew would do, since plumbing and pipes are something that I dont want to have sticking out of the front of my home. David, refused to go into any detail about it. I could see he was getting visibly irriatated and would not explain or clarify my questions. I dont know about anyone else, but If I'm going to drop 5-10k on a plumbing job I want crystal clear answers to ALL of my questions I dont care how much they ""irritate"" the bidder.
David left by stating that he ..."" Has done homes in Bel Air and Beverly Hills.."" what the hell was that suppose to mean? Your little nothing home in Long Beach isnt worth answering all of your questions?
Nonetheless, I can say this is the WORST bid experience I've ever had with a plumber in all of my years of being a home owner. By the lookks of the majority of reviews here, I'm obviously not the only one.

I just received a flyer yesterday advertising sewer cleanout for $65 if accessed by a ground-level cleanout. When I called, a rather surly gentleman told me it would cost $85 and that they had increased the price from $65 months ago. When I told him I received the flyer yesterday, he hung up on me. I called back and was disconnected without the call being answered. When I finally spoke to a different person, I was told there were no appts available for 2 weeks. I have done business with this company a number of times in the past but will not do so again.
