All good until it isn't. Have used them for a few years for all our home needs. Had some electrical work done to install a 30 amp outlet to run our Rv. It did not work properly and we made several calls to the manager, leaving messages with no call back. We refused to pay until the job is corrected (which of course it hasn't since no one has returned our calls) and now they refuse to provide further services. Oh well, lots of other companies out there competing for our business!

I purchased the maintenance contract for electric, plumbing and Air conditioning. For each service the technicians wrote up several options for their findings leaving everything open and in parts so you are thinking if you don't let them do the work, will they leave you high and dry or worse yet , actually break something or cause damage. (Note: Everything they looked at was in working order when they came). They took pictures with their phones to show condition and to prove their diagnosis. In each instance they said that this work could be done on that day???? Anyway, they don't itemize the bill, so you can't compare pricing or see their cost of labor. They stretch out the job and spend a long time writing out the description of what they did and so increasing the time spent at the job thus increasing your labor cost. I tried to say no to the job , but they wouldn't take no for an answer . These are high pressure salesmen that are sent to do these jobs and I suspect are paid commission when they sell something. Don't do business with them. Find a reputable company.

Charged me $199 to come to home regarding pool problem, diagnoseD problem, then didn't show up two different times to fix it. Told my first appointment was 1-4 pm but they scheduled it 1-4a.m. and never called me, again later in the week didn't show up again even after a called to be sure I was on their list. they said they'd call 30 min. before arriving. 1-4 no call, no show, no reply. Air conditioner service, no show again. They won't refund my $180 because they say that's the cost to diagnose the problem. BEWARE.

Very high cost , don't hire them, I just do the pipe cleaning,They charge me $2000 . And my friend he do the same way ,another company just charge $1000, SO expensive

RUN DONT WALK AWAY FROM THIS CO. We found out after we were in a desperate situation that we pd 3000 through their finance co. And we should have only pd $1200.00. They told us our water system would need replacing soon-our new guy swears they rigged it to fail. So instead of spending $6000 we just needed a $88 repair

I contacted Best home services for repairs in my home which resulted in horrendous experiences with the plumbing department. One of my requests for repair was for a toilet that was slow to flush. I was quoted $250 to """"rebuild"""" the toilet. After the rebuild it was worse than before, and when I said this was told that in order to improve the flush the entire toilet would need to be replaced. I spent $250 on a toilet """"rebuild"""" that did not at all solve my problem and instead magnified a problem that already existed. I was then sold on service to relocate and replace my water heater and was told it could be done in a few short hours with only a minor inconvenience. This started at 8:30am. Multiple employees were at my residence all day attempting to do this job, tracking dust and insulation throughout my home, coming and going through my front door and my garage with the water shut off to my entire residence. We were unable to prepare any meals all day, unable to prepare baby bottles, shower, wash my hands, or even use the bathroom. I couldn't do any laundry (parents know how hard this is with a new baby) or wash dishes/ baby bottles. We even went without A/C for a stressful period of time where the temperature inside grew uncomfortable on top of not having water. We were without water for 12 HOURS straight and they were not able to relocate my water heater. They actually CAUSED a leak that was not already when they reconnected the water heater, so I had to get a different company to replace it next day. I live in an upper unit condo and during this process water leaked down to my lower neighbors' unit and caused considerable damage. They were also without water because of what was done by Best Home Services in the process of this attempted job.They had to wait hours for a """"restoration team"""" to come help them with the flooding. I was told that technicians aren't even paid if they don't complete a job, and that none of them would be paid by the company for the entire day spent at my home. The company consists of separate salesman who seem to convince you of whatever they can just to close the deal, even if it's extremely over-priced or if it may not be able to be done in the first place, and then when it comes time to complete a more complex job are MIA to solve a problem. I regret contacting this company at all, as all that has come of it has been major expense, damage and time that I cannot get back. After this horrible experience it took a full month of calling this company regularly before a received my $3,000 refund for the downpayment on work that was not done. They offered me no additional compensation for the damage done in my home or for the agonizing experience of dealing with them in the first place.

I had 30 people in town for my mother in laws funeral. The sinks in the kitchen and laundry room stopped draining. I contacted Ft Myers utilities to come out and check for sewer blockage. After inspection, he told me I needed my line flushed that ran to that area of the house. All wash room toilets and sinks were operational. I called Best Services, they said a person would be their shortly, but would not give a price. I told him what needed to be done, that the pee traps and main drains had been inspected already. He told me the going rate was $1800, just sign here. I questioned the price but he assured me that was the going rate. Having several people staying at my house, I said ok. The work was complete In less than 20 minutes.A few days later I called Best Services to question the price, she told me to get a price quote from a qualified competitor and e-mail it to her. She would see what could be done. I sent her a copy of Aztec Plumbing current add, after going to Aztec offices. The add appearing on TV that week. ANY MAIN DRAIN CLEANED FOR $159. She did say that was a promotion and they had a trip charge. After not getting a response from my e-mail, I called Best Services back, they referred me to a """"Supervisor"""" who informed me there was nothing they could do, BECAUSE, I signed the work order. I did not ask for a price match, but come on. Work was fine, but I think something should have been done about that price comparison. Leo.T

Best said that my parents just missed the warranty deadline. Had another company out and they said the warranty on Rheem water heaters is 6 years. The water heater is only 5 years old per the manufacture date with another year left remaining on the warranty. Another lie from BEST. Other company said the water heater did not need to be replaced, only a simple repair. Said even if it did need replaced and was out of warranty the most it would be was $1270.00 total! So Best said the warranty was expired. Best said a new water heater was needed. Best wanted $2500. BEST is WORST and they tried to take advantage of seniors again!

Had these guys do a """"tune up"""" on a coupon deal. The guy was here for more than an hour. Hard to observe what he was doing. It was dark before he left. He said the A/C was """"on its last leg"""" and he said he would give me an estimate for replacement. The A/C (a Trane) had been working fine but just wanted it inspected before summer. Well, after he left water began draining from the air handler onto the garage floor. A few days later when the temperature went up to 90 degrees, the A/C was not reducing the indoor temperature by more than 2 degrees and the unit kept running. It became very uncomfortable. I began to get other estimates for replacement from reputable companies since the A/C was 13 years old. The reps who appeared all had lengthy time as techs before selling. One pointed out that one of the panels on the air handler had been bent and it was sucking in air. Another said the refrigerant appeared to be low. (No problem before the Best guy appeared) Frankly, I would NOT trust these guys. Their replacement bid was very high. The unit worked WORSE after the so called """"tune up."""" Did he do something to make the unit stop working properly? Did he siphon off refrigerant? Did he bend the side panel? I suppose I will never know. """"Best"""", """"Honest"""", watch out for anyone who utilizes such hyperbole. Go with the local guys who have not been """"bought out"""" by some """"private equity"""" guys. They just rake off the profit at the top, hire cheap labor and spend a fortune advertising. Get a referral from a local person who knows the local contractors. Keep them in business. Avoid these self promoting """"coupon special"""" guys.

Ripped off!!! They changed me for unnecessary services. $199 contract with a $50 enrollment fee. Lied about having the Diagnosis be included in the services if performed. Did not include a written estimate before service's. Charged $532 for UV light bulbs which are no where near that expensive even for the good brand ones. Total Rip off! Do not ever use Best Home Services
