He was fast & also expensive. Did a poor job fixing our toilets with a simple part that was installed in 5 min. Came here twice. Charged $200 each time. Had no shame - even charged an extra $75 to get some hair & toothpaste out of one of the drains. Toilets ran intermittently & our water bill went up. Called him to come back. He never responded. Got another plumber & he replaced both flappers & also one of the parts Michael put it. Michael was recommended to us. What a letdown.

Called on a Saturday afternoon with a plumbing emergency. Because they were listed as a 24/7 emergency plumbing service that would contact us in a timely manner I assumed I would get a call back within an hour or two. I specifically stated that it was an emergency. It has now been almost five hours with no call back. Obviously should NOT be listed under emergency service plumbers and most definitely not 24/7.

Contractor redoing our driveway along with 2,000 sqft of additional patio accidentally trenched thru the main water line that goes to the house. After calling other local plumbers Michael and Best Defense was the only one who returned my call within 10 min and said he would take care of it in his way home. Showed up at 5:30 fixed the problem and said ""I put myself in the customers situation"". Bravo I have a new plumber for life I hope!!! Thank you Michael!

Great Service all the way!! I Had a water heater pilot light that would not light in my rental home. This was a couple days before a holiday weekend. I felt bad the renter had no hot water and I could not find a plumber available to go fix it before the weekend. But when I called Best Defense Plumbing, Michael was right on it. No worries, no issues, just got there the same day and had the parts to fix it. What a relief. Now I didn't have to worry about my renter going any longer without hot water. Thank you Michael! Michael gets an A+ from me! I had a leak under my kitchen sink, called him and he was here within 20 minutes. Diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and was here them next day to install a new faucet and plumbing repairs which were needed. He saved me from a flooded kitchen!!

A big thanks to Mike and his coworker Justin. Our pilot light went out and wouldn't ignite and stay on. I called Mike at 7pm and he answered, I told him what the problem was and he gave me a couple possible reasons but said he could come take a look as soon as he was done with the job he was currently at. Mike and I kept in communication and he showed up on time as scheduled.

Mike explained and helped us understand exactly what the problem was and possible solutions. We decided to have the water heater replaced due to it being so old. Unfortunately Mike wasn't available to do the swap but worked some magic for us to get hot water back in the house and was able to have Justin come tomorrow morning.

Mike stayed in contact with me letting me know when to expect Justin. Justin showed up on time, very friendly, and easy going. He did a great job. I couldn't be any more happier with how everything was handled from the beginning to the end. Thanks again guys!

Michael was great...called him close to 7pm for our water heater that went out and he came out that evening within the hour to take a look. It was toast and he was able to rearrange some things to get a new one installed the next morning. AMAZING!! Being without hot water with a family of 5 is no bueno and Michael got us hot water in no time at all. Would definitely recommend Michael and will contact him again if we have anymore plumbing issues. THANKS AGAIN!!

My family and I moved to Brentwood right before Christmas. Our house we bought had some small plumbing problems. I found Michael here on yelp and decided to give him a try since he had really good reviews. He has been very prompt every time he has came and talked us through everything he did. Each time he came we found more work for him. Each time he said ok. I can come back and take care of it for you. Luckily he also has helped with just some handyman work also. I had back surgery less than a month ago and can't do typical tasks like mounting a tv. Total I think he has been here 5 times and has taken care of every problem we have told him about. Yes it would have been better to tell him about everything at one time but if you've ever bought a house you know there are always things coming up. He is now part of the family. We will continue to call him for any issues we have. He has been courteous and thorough. I highly recommend him to anyone. We are very glad we went with him and his yelp page to start with. We can't thank him enough. He did a the type of person you want to know. He has made our move to Brentwood even better. Thank you very much Michael

Michael did an excellent job uninstalling and installing 2 toilets. His pricing is very fair and he came out on the appointment time slot. He was very reachable by phone on questions and appointment. He was very easy to work with and did an excellent job overall and cleaned up after completion.

I would recommend him and his company again for anyone doing plumbing.
