I tried to fix and remove a tub spout but accidentally broke it. I then called Best Defense Plumbing to the rescue. Michael did a great job of fixing it. He replaced the copper pipe that I broke and replaced the tub spout. I was worried about him cutting sheetrock to access the pipes but he really kept it nice and clean. He even vacuumed after he was done. He will be our plumbing guy from now on.

Discovered an outside leak on a Saturday morning. Called Best Defense Plumbing and spoke with Mike. He did a great job of understanding my clueless explanation of what was happening. Ask for pictures so he could see the issue and give an estimate (which I appreciated. He could have charged me just to drive out, take a look and give the estimate).
He gave me a time frame for that afternoon and arrived on the early end. He did what needed to be done, fixed the issue and was spot on the quote.
He was very professional. Did quality work. Couldn't ask for anything more.

My toilet tank wouldn't fill and then over night the whole bathroom flooded. I called all over to find someone who could come as soon as possible. Mike worked with my schedule ( I'm a teacher so I had to come home during my prep period). He was prompt and diagnosed and fixed the problem almost immediately. The price was incredibly fair. Mike exemplified amazing customer service. I would highly recommend this company.

This Yelp review is long over due. I first encountered Best Defense Plumbing owner Micheal, several years ago when he fixed a shower leak. Yesterday, I woke up to a leaking water heater. I called Micheal and he was able to fit me in. Within hours, I had hot water again. He is very knowledgeable, efficient, and does wonderful work. He answered all my questions, even those not related to my busted water heater. He came ready to work and gets the job done in a timely manner. His fees are reasonably price. If you ever need a plumber, do not hesitate to call Best Defense Plumbing.

My water heater went out. I called around and Mike had a competitive price to install a new one. He offered to rearrange his schedule because he knew we were without hot water, very considerate of him. He had it replaced quickly and left the place cleaner than he found it. Very nice guy. We will definitely use him for all our plumbing needs.

Michael was supposed to complete some plumbing work for two bathrooms which consisted of moving a faucet and drainage for a bathtub. I quickly realized that he was not qualified to do the work. He wanted to cut unnecessary? holes through my kitchen ceiling to complete the work. He then never showed up for work, never called in advance? to let me know, and said that he had a bigger (better paying) job to do than mine. I had already paid him for work that he never completed and he did not bother to reimburse me even after asking for my money back. I had to get a different plumber who did the work professionally and without cutting holes through my ceiling. I also checked Michael's plumbing license and at that time it had expired. I think that I was foolish to believe all the good reviews that he has received on Yelp and will definitively be more cautious the next time around.
