We received an exhorbitant price quote for a simple job last week. We were quoted by Matt, I believe his name was, $3,600 to run a cold water line from the house 130 feet to a small brand new metal shop building for a utility sink. We have our own well, so there was no water company involved. This job should've been possibly $500 max. My late husband was a Florida Licensed General Contractor who built in Florida and Georgia for almost 50 years. I'm pretty sure he would've choked if he heard that. Maybe there was a disconnect or misunderstanding of the job between my friend who received the quote and Matt? We could do the job ourselves with buried pvc or at least temporarily run a hose to a $135 sink from Home Depot, but obviously preferred not to.

Wonderful service was provided to replace my washer supply valves and repair my shower valve -- Jason was on time, courteous, knowledgable, efficient and very attentive and patient to listen to me -- I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking to solve a plumbing problem and I will call them again if I need more plumbing problems fixed

Was the work expensive? Heck yeah! They should add CPR to their training requirements; however, I can remember paying $3200 for a new pickup truck which ain't the case nowadays. The price is why I'm giving them 4 stars. Everything else was great! I've spent 50 years in construction. Needless to say, I'm not as flexible at 73 as I was at 43 when I could do my own plumbing work. When working on old things, I expect breakage, parts not being available, etc., all of which are beyond the control of the Technician. Both of our 23-year-old toilets were leaking through the flapper valves. All the connecting rods were corroded. The manufacturer went out of business years ago. JEA never sent me a Thank You card, so I called Bert Norman's plumbing, talked to Shannon and got scheduled for that afternoon. Kris came out and began rebuilding the mechanism. Parts broke, he had to go back to the shop for parts. The flow rate on the toilets were slow due to mineral buildup in the jets over 23 years. Problems. Problems. I talked with Shannon and rescheduled to replace the toilets. Kris came back the next day and replaced the toilets. The 23-year-old flanges that connect the toilet to the sewer and also holds the toilets in place, no rocking while you're doing your business, broke on both toilets as Kris was removing the toilets. Now we had two flanges to replace in addition to everything else. Long story short, $1600 later we were back to normal. Kris was professional, wore shoe covers in the house, did an excellent job, showed me the problems as they occurred, didn't leave a mess or get any water on the hardwood floors when taking the old toilets away. He also went to bat for me over the BOOK charges to lower my costs to a more reasonable amount. He's golden! Shannon was great to deal with in the office and they actually pay attention to the schedule which is more than most service companies do in today's world. I'd call them again.

Kris came to our house for some routine services. He did a brief inspection and found that the shower needed caulking. I was pleased with the work.

I was charged over $800 for a clogged drain over a weekend. I get inflation and elevated weekend rates but it was not like they had to replace a pipe just clear a blockage. Will definitely shop around for better rates next time

The work performed was fine but the cost was OUTRAGEOUS!!! THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE US $936 TO INSTALL 2 BATHROOM FAUCETS AND WE PURCHASED THE FAUCETS!! They finally got the price down to $638 which is still $188 PER HOUR + a $99 service fee. Have done business with them for 18 years but never again.

We had a gushing leak in an exterior pipe in the middle of the night. When I called, they walked me through what to do until they could get here, which ended up being fine to wait until first thing in the morning after we shut the water off. They called before they headed our way, were professional, *affordable* and reasonably priced, and efficient. We're so grateful for their help and would highly recommend them to others!!

Bert's plumbing is fabulous!! I called three plumbers to fix a leak in our main water line coming into the house - Bert's was the only one who came the same day. They fixed the whole problem in an hour and improved our system in general. Another plumber said it would take four hours and they'd have to move our hot water heater - Bert's didn't need to. Thank goodness for Mitch and Rob and everybody at Bert's!

We have two emergency needs for a plumber of course after hours or weekends -same thing and Bert Normans came thru each time. Thanksgiving day we had another emergency in our pump house and needed a fix and they came right out. It was not going to matter price wise if we had waited until a Friday because that is also considered a holiday in the plumbing world. Let's face it if we could do it we would but plumbers know exactly what to fix and can do it with such speed and accuracy that I think they are worth their fees. I also used Bert for installing my automatic chicken waterers in my coop and they did a fantastic job. The office does call and followup after your visit to make sure the job was done to your satisfaction and that your pleased. The ladies in the office are awesome and a shout out to Jimmy for always giving great plumbing tips. They also have a monthly plan where you can jump the line of calls / your priority/ if you take the plan and get a yearly discounted plumbing inspection and hot water drainage. Fabulous service
