Hot & cold copper water lines were crossed at couple locations under the house. Chris was patient enough to do a thorough inspection by crawling under the house's crawl space. Hot & cold copper water lines were repiped and now all faucets left handle is hot and right handle is cold like it should be. Chris went above and beyond to check all plumbing and make sure everything is ok. Chris kept his work area clean and cleaned up after all work was done as if he was one of the elf from The Elves and the Shoemaker. The lady in the office who I talked to over the phone was polite and professional. She was very knowledgeable about plumbing compared to other companies I've called before. Definitely will call Ben's Plumbing again and will be referring to all my family and friends.

Im a real estate broker (for 25 years) so Ive worked with a lot of plumbers and plumbing issues. Ben was responsive and showed up earlier than I expected. Ben was professional and super-great at explaining what the problem was as what needed to get done. Very easy to give Ben 5 stars.

Expensive, shoddy work. Less than two years ago, my husband accidentally punctured a pvc pipe with a shovel while doing some gardening. Water shot up like a geiser. We shut off the water main and called Ben's. Two guys came out and quoted us $450 to fix it. We felt like we were in a pinch, so we agreed, although that seemed very pricey. They started working on the job, but had to leave for a supply run. They finally came back and finished the repair. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, and our gardener told us that he noticed an underground leak. (Same spot as the repair) He said it had been leaking for quite awhile. Ben's crew came out again and said that they could fix it again for us, but because it had been almost two years that their warranty is no longer in effect. We were also told that although now the job would normally cost over $600, they would ""only"" charge us the same price as last time. (Oh, how considerate). And by the way, if you haven't figured it out yet, NO, they don't guarantee their work. I was not happy about the idea that we could potentially be paying them every 1.75 years to come out and repair their repair. Fool me once... We called another plumber out for a second opinion. He said that the job was done incorrectly (cheaply and using the the wrong materials and wrong method). He said that they took the easy way out and that there is no way that this type of work would hold up in the long run (which was exactly our predicament). He explained the way he would do it. My husband watched him repair it and totally has confidence that the repair was done with competence and integrity. AND it only cost us $250. I would not recommend Ben's. Even at the time of the original repair, my gut told me that we were being ripped off and/or taken advantage of. Not my kind of people. We are much happier and much more confident in the work of our new plumber.

Being a Whittier resident, I called Ben's on a Thursday since I couldn't unplug a bathroom sink drainage issue. The owner quoted me a price and said they would be sending their technician Brandon out the same day - within hours.

Brandon called two hours later and confirmed he would arrive at my house in half an hour. After trying to snake out the sink from the top, he advised me he had to remove a pipe underneath the sink to run the snake thru. Since the pipe had not been removed for decades - his concern was that a pipe to the sink may break and disclosed this. Brandon was able to loosen the pipe without any damage, cleaned up everything and the price was reasonable.

Thanks to Brandon, I would call Ben's Plumbing for any future plumbing needs and recommend them.

Ben's Plumbing is a very well run company. We have used Ben before and will continue to call him as our plumber. Ben answers the phone, is polite, dispatches his crew immediately, and his prices are great. His crew is made up of professional and polite people who clean up their mess and who treat the property with respect. Recently I called Ben for a tub backup and despite him dealing with a flat tire he still took the time to take my call and dispatch someone immediately. Within 10 minutes he tech was at my door. The tech was so polite to me and my dogs and left with no mess. Thanks!

I was given their info from a friend when my drains were clogged. I was immediately impressed with how quickly they were able to come out (same day I called).

Brandon was incredibly professional and speedy, and clean! (One of my pet peeves, a plumber, who leaves a mess after they leave).

Another thing I really thought was nice, was he explained how the plumbing in my house works-- like what happens to the food after it goes down the drain. Just knowing that is very helpful for me.

I'm happy I found myself a plumber who is reliable and trust worthy. You will not be disappointed with their service.

I have been using Ben's Plumbing for over 6 years at both my home and my rental. The are very reasonable and honest. I have them conduct preventive maintenance at my home every six months. The clear the clean out to the main and snake the clean out from the top of the roof. Established neighborhoods mean older homes here in North Hills.
