Labor Day weekend I discovered I had a slab leak under the house. Called three companies and they responded. They were efficient, on time, set up the crews, inspections, repair, digging etc. no complaints. I know plumber's are expensive so I was just happy to get it fixed and my home insurance covered 75% of the cost. I was content at this point.
Six weeks later, I've got water coming from under the house again. Same spot, same hot water line. Pissed but I had a 5 year warranty covering the work? Right? Think again. Called them they came out dug under found the leak a foot up from the initial repair that they even said could have been compromised from the initial work. Covered under warranty? No way. "This leak had nothing to do with the first leak" got you over a barrel because you have no water and a hole under your house. Another 10K they wanted. I had to file another claim and they want to know how? Now that they have gotten there money , it's like pulling teeth. They fixed it of course
Bottom line: Super expensive plumbing company that stuck it up my ass with their warranty bs! No sympathy knowing the second leak was related to the first leak just a bunch of car salesman rhetoric. I will never use them again and am filing a claim with the better business bureau.

I had an appt set for 8a-10a and they showed up 57 minutes late. Work was completed quickly and they left. Shortly after they left I went outside and found an oil slick in my driveway where the company truck was parked. There was a large fresh oil stain with drips all the way down the driveway to the street. With the amount of oil that was left in my driveway that driver has to be putting oil in the truck every few days so there is no way they didn't know that it was leaving. Besides it was so much oil it would have been impossible to see as he drive off. Contacted Operations Manager by phone and email about cleaning it up and have not heard back. Will not use them again or recommend.

Early, professional, and helpful are good adjectives to describe this service. Thank you. "

I'm shocked and saddened at the EXTREME overpricing. Not just a few hundred or several hundred more but 3x's more! Three quotes from 3 plumbing companies... 1,600, 1,200 and Benjamin Franklin 3,800! The 1,200 (Thank You O'Bryan Plumbing) went out of their way to test the check valve for whether it needed replacing. Turns out, it did not, so the cost ended up at 700.00. Ben Franklin said "with years of experience we just KNOW the check valve won't work and must be replaced".

I really like this company. I've used them several times. Recently I had a problem with my water heater. The pilot light had blown out probably from a storm with high winds that we had the night before. The company sent out a nice young man named Andrew Ferguson. Andrew was very professional and knowledgeable. When he inspected the heater, he noticed that the venting pipe wasn't attached properly which probably allowed the wind to blow out the pilot light. I had him fix that issue and re-start the heater. This was all done at a very reasonable cost and the trip charge was waived. Another thing that I like about this company is that their people don't try to up-sell you. Andrew simply asked me if there was anything else that I wanted him to check, and when I said "no" that-was-that. I highly recommend this company.

Used Benjamin FranklinPlumbing again to repair a kitchen faucet. They were very professional and on time. The faucet works again and life at home is better.

I was filling my pool up late last night and the outside spicket would not turn off. I looked on-line looking for a 24 hour emergency to see how soon someone could come out. Some charged $200.00 just to come look at it, others said to call the non-emergency fire department to turn off the water and wouldn't be there till the next day in the afternoon, others weren't available, etc., until I came across Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. They came out the the very first thing in the morning 8:00 A.M. and fixed it in an hour. I highly recommend Tony and Peyton. They were prompt, professional and kind. Also repair cost was very reasonable. This is the type of company you can rely and count on when it comes to any plumbing issues. Thank you B.F.P.

A plumbing issue came to light during a home inspection. We called three plumbing companies for quotes. The first quote was $4,500, our second quote from Ben Franklin Plumbing was $11,000, and our third quote was $1,800. I was blown away at the price difference, between $11,000 and $1,800. The third plumber was referred to us by a friend and also has great reviews online. After asking him (the $1,800 plumber) how another plumbing companies quote was so high, he just laughed and said, some people are stupid and will hire them assuming that is just what the repair would cost without doing their homework. We live in a pier and beam home and all the plumbing that needed repaired was exposed underneath the house. It's still not easy to get to, but with a little crawling, it is more than possible. It was fixed within 4 hours of him crawling under the home. The second home inspection passed with flying colors and big lesson was learned. Get referrals from friends, and be sure to read online reviews. I will never do business with a company that is only in business to rip off their customers, and that is what Ben Franklin appears to be doing.

CALL ANY OTHER PLUMBER IF IT IS A NON-EMERGENCY!! Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is just too goshdarn expensive. They try hard to sell you on their after hours service which is a $175 service charge.
I'm a Realtor and I'm going to stop recommending them.
They are always available which is a positive but only called them as a last resort! And if you end up calling them, for God's sake - use some kind of coupon - which are readily available online.

Charged $339.00 to replace a shower mixer cartridge. The shower was a Moen and parts are under warranty, only the technician didn't tell me.
Poor customer service, other businesses that I've worked with in the past would have at least told me about the warranty. So I paid $339.00 for a free part. Don't bother calling to complain, they will just blow you off.
