Susan D.Friendly office staff scheduled me a same-day service, received call-ahead that tech was on his way, he fixed the plumbing issue right away. Professional, friendly and not over priced.
Jim B.John fixed everything and was friendly & professional. I had low pressure in my faucets. John was able to replace my aerators for all my faucets. Thank you!! The works was great and cost is reasonable.
Justin F.We are selling our house and the buyers inspection turned up a higher than normal pressure on our water line. I called BF Plumbing and they sent John R out to the house to install a pressure regulator. I work from home and our dog, although friendly to people he knows, usually barks non-stop and most people don't approach him. I noticed that our dog wasn't barking and went outside to see what was going on. I saw our tech petting him on the head over the gate. I was extremely impressed with the install and professionalism that John brought to the table but even more impressed that he took the time to let our dog know that he wasn't a threat. I would highly recommend this company. Maybe you will get luck and have John as well.
Alan T.Want to say that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is a Great Company to help in your needs..Ryan came out Sat. Morning on time and fix our problem...He explain everything there was & gave us 3 options to choose on the job...We are very please with his work and his Company..
Overpriced!
The plumber came when scheduled and he was pleasant to deal with. He replaced our washing machine drain and trap and added a Studor vent because it was not vented properly. We have a full basement so access was not a problem. It took 4.3 hours including some time to wait for delivery of supplies by an associate. The total charge was $1096. The service charge was $49 and I estimate materials (Studor vent, pipe, and fittings) cost to be $70 retail. That comes to $227 per hour for labor! The operations manager reduced the price by $300 (i.e., the original charge was $1396, which would come to $297 per hour for labor) after we complained about the high price, so I guess it could have been worse. I feel confident they fixed the problem, but I will look for a more affordable plumber next time.
Tyler was phenominal. He was knowledable, thorough and friendly. He explained all of the procedures he was going to perform and made suggestion. He is an asset to your organization.
Competently replaced my mother in law's fill valve and supply lines in 2 toilets. Maybe I'm just ignorant of current prices,...

Gentlemen,
I am really concerned that my mother in law just way overpaid you guys for a minor R&R of 2 units. I do realize that you replaced the valves and supply lines but even so ....How much time could it take? Certainly the parts can't be the issue. if there is something I am not seeing please feel free to elaborate. This elderly women is on a fixed income guys.
Don't mean to sound too accusatory but this sounds unreasonable to me. please advise,

I hope by now you have had a chance to read and consider my (attached) email dated 09/05/2014. Since neither Mrs Brown or myself have heard back from you, I will once again ask that you advise me and or Mrs Brown how you arrived at the total of $ 438.00 for the minor repair (your words) of two toilets. The bill I saw was unclear. If you are confident in your pricing this should not be a big deal. Thanks again

Jeff,
In the interest of full disclosure, I wanted you to know that I did spoke to Mrs. Brown to get permission to discuss her account with you.
On August 5 Mrs. Brown called our office at 9:26, we arrived at her home at 13:37. We repaired 2 toilets at her home, installing new brass shank fill valves, acid-resistant flappers and no burst braided stainless steel supply tubes. The work comes with a 2 year warranty.
We price all of our work by the job- not by the hour, and all jobs are quoted to the penny prior to any work beginning.
The total amount charged to her Visa card was $372, not $438. She received our club members discount of 15%, in addition to her service fee (normally $49) being waived. Occasionally the invoice as printed on the technicians IPad does not break out the discount, bit I can assure you of the amount- $372.
Feel free to call if you have further questions.

Jack W.Update. The operations manager called me and voided the service charge. Did not request it nor did I complain. Although I am sure they are competent plumbers they seem to be a little rich for me. Cudos to them for customer awareness.
Called Ben Franklin plumbing to have them fix an exterior faucet that leaked in the wall to the house. (Frozen pipe issue.) The fee to have them out was $49 and the quote to fix the problem was $325. I also got a quote on a cool monitoring system to detect leaks in any appliance (refrig., dishwasher, washing machine, etc.). That would be $2800. I got my entire home monitored for $1400 with remote applications. This is a very expensive plumbing company. Get a second opinion...first.
Victor C.We recently had to replace our main water line and called Benjamin Franklin. It was fairly expensive but you get what you pay for, right...well, not this time. The two workers did not smooth out my dug up yard, leaving huge clumps which they covered with far too much straw, and I found out that they did not even bring rakes with them. A section of my driveway was also broken by the worker. I even got a call from my neighbor telling me that she had seen one of the workers using the bathroom by the side of my house. I had to call and talk to the manager and he had someone come back out and smooth the yard (they didn't put enough seed out though). The manager said something about taking some money off the bill for the broken driveway (it didn't happen) and even defended his workers peeing on the side of my house. We are looking for a different plumbing company now!
