Randy did his best to fix leak problem in my kitchen sink faucet. Writing this review in 2 days after the service and the problem has not occurred since. He worked on what he has available, persisted even if the job required unusual tools which he didn't have available because faucet manufacturing is different and older, improvised a way to unlock the faucet.. he did a very satisfactory job.. i am very thankful..

The technician was always late came one night at 9 p.m took 4 days to do a 2 day job because he kept getting dispatched to other jobs as he claimed so i called and spoke to the owner of the largo shop and asked about the punctual plumber advertisement he said its only advertisement they really don't give any money I would not recommend using them they will try and upsell you

I had them come out to fix a clogged sink the Saturday after Thanksgiving. They snaked the line and couldn't get the sink to drain. They said we needed an all new drains put in the house and it would be around $4200. I said thank you we will get a second opinion and then got the hard sell. The employees are paid commission. We had someone out today that got the line clear and working in 10 minutes and said our drain pipes are old but working fine for $200. We paid Ben Franklin Plumbing $290 to do nothing but try and rip us off.

Customer service is excellent. They did exactly what was needed to be done. They are a bit pricey; but, you get what you pay for. I did not wait for them to come out and 15 minutes before they came out, they called.

Would not recommend. Charged me $400 to basically tell me I had a leak. Found a reputable leak specialist and repairs cost $700 total to repair. This company quoted me thousands.

I was refused service because my property I wanted serviced is not my primary residence. I was discriminated against for having a rental property. On January 25, 2018 at 2:30 p.m., I went to the Benjamin Franklin location at 5808 56th Street N, Tampa, FL 33610. I met with the receptionist and later Scott Wood. I explained that one of the condos that I own in Plant City, Florida had a leak in the bathtub faucet. I showed Scott Wood the photos of the faucet. He said he could schedule an appointment for the following day to have someone come out to service the condo. I provided him and the receptionist with my name, phone number and address. I explained that I would be at the condo and that I was the point of contact. They asked me for the tenants name and phone number as a secondary point of contact, I provided that information, but stressed that I was to be the main point of contact. On January 26, 2018 at 7:00 a.m. I received a call from my tenant. He explained that Kristen, the dispatcher from the Tampa Benjamin Franklin had called to confirm the appointment that morning at 8:00 a.m. I did not receive a phone call from Kristen. I called Kristen at 7:10 a.m. to confirm the appointment. She asked for my name and number. I provided that. She then said that I was not in the system. I explained that I was the property owner and that she had just called my tenant to confirm the appointment. She then became rude and said that Benjamin Franklin does not work with rental properties. I then explained that I went in person to the Tampa Benjamin Franklin office the day before and explained that it was a rental property at the time I made the appointment. I was not told at the time of making the appointment that the company would not service rental properties. I became upset during the call with Kristen because she said that they were doing me a favor by making the appointment to service my plumbing needs. I told her that I felt that was discrimination to refuse service to someone simply because the property was not their primary residence. She said and I quote...""""Well, it isn't my company."""" We ended the call by confirming the 8:00 a.m. appointment. I told her I would be there in person at 8:00 a.m. to meet the plumber. A few minutes later at 7:17 a.m. I received a call from Scott Wood from the Tampa Benjamin Franklin office located at 5808 56th Street N., Tampa, FL 33610. He said he was calling because I seemed to have had a problem with Kristen, his dispatcher. I said, yes, I did have a problem and he should consider firing her due to her lack of customer service. Scott Wood immediately became defense and very rude to me. I explained the entire phone conversation I had with Kristen and why I became upset because she was telling me that the company did not have to service me because the property was a rental property. Scott Wood said to me that he was cancelling my appointment because I was rude to his dispatcher Kristen and that Benjamin Franklin as a company can pick and choose who they service. I told Scott Wood that I believed this was discrimination and that I was going to go to the Tampa office and ask to speak to a manager. He told me that he was the manager and that if I stepped foot on the property, he would have me arrested for trespassing. I then asked for the name of the owner of the company. He refused to provide it to me and told me that I can look it up online. I ended the conversation by stating that I was going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, contact the corporate office, and look into my legal rights as a property owner. He said good, I welcome your complaint and legal action. I am now filing this complaint for refusal of service. I too have a choice of who I do business with and I obviously will not be doing business with Benjamin Franklin.

Looks like Jean M. Is a flat out liar too. All you calls are up on my site. So cut the BS. You have answered none of my questions. So here it is again. Why did you take my toilet out to clear a clog in the main? I showed you the cleanout. You opened the cleanout and then removed my toilet. Why did you say you put in a new flange when you didn't. Why did you take my working toilet to the dump? Why do you charge $514 for a $10 flange? Why charge $600 for a $235 toilet? Why didn't you clean up after yourselves. Why charge $515 to clear a main when last time it cost $335? Post your answers here for all to see. The answer to all these questions is simple. Your a bunch of thieves. Don't call me again. I have no desire to talk with liars. And don't for one minute think I'm gonna let this go. I'm just getting started!

Ben franklin plumbing!!! Save your money and shop around. This company can not provide any information or qoute a ballpark figure with out showing up and charging a $49 service fee. Immediately upon arrival was able to provide the highest estimate of over a $1000 dollars for a new hot water heater with install. Not a good business. You will not get a fair offer. Shop arround and get estimates by phone and avoid paying a service call fee. I new better, but saw a coupon online for up to $500, but was only offed $75 off which still had there service well over $1000. I found a reputable local business to do the job for $775.

Had everything clogged. Plumber came out and did a great job but it was nearly $500 even though I pay monthly to get """"discounts"""". Called to stop the $8.09 a month to be part of that program and was told a manager had to sign off on it and would call me back. Really???? No call. Called again this morning. Furious. Interestingly immediately after I posted this, I got the call from a manager. Short and sweet. Cancelled. But, crazy expensive.
