Recommended Customer Reviews

Customer service is excellent. They did exactly what was needed to be done. They are a bit pricey; but, you get what you pay for. I did not wait for them to come out and 15 minutes before they came out, they called.

I can only give a 2. I cannot recommend to any one at Esplande Tampa . Put good parts on, did a good job doing this. Nice guy. But kind of flim flamy on charges and service charges. Office says one thing etc. They look to much at a few quick bucks than all the new business a 3 or 4 can bring. In my humble opinions . I guess that's why they only have a 2 star.

Let me begin by saying I've used this company for about 15 years, 2 or 3 big jobs; Trevor & Jeremy were wonderful. Couldn't be more pleased. Fast forward to last Saturday. My kitchen faucet was dripping. Total bill was $671.00! As other reviews stated, their prices are astronomical, possibly due to employees being on commission now. (Note to self: Be psychic & buy your own hardware, even when you had no idea it would be necessary. I was told mine was too old to fix. Upsell!) Explanations of a Yearly Plan were VERY unclear. I expressed to Jordan that I was NOT interested in a yearly service contract, yet lo & behold, there's a $99. charge for it on my bill that gave me a $101. dollar discount on that days work. Uh, does that seem like another upsell? In addition, their pre-visit texts/emails say their employees wear masks & gloves. Nope! He didn't, even after being asked. I spoke to a supervisor about my concerns Monday (left a message Saturday after the visit) & the long term customer isn't always right with Jeff Behr (sp). He literally told me he told his employees THAT morning to make sure customers didn't get the Service Plan snuck in on a bill, but felt no inclination to refund that cost to the one that happened to! It was a VERY unpleasant conversation, let's leave it at that. I'm leaving 2 stars, based on PAST performance + 0 for this one. I will NOT be back. Bummer.

Sorry but I can hardly give them a one star the tech came late in evening and he didn't want to do the job he wanted to charge me on top of the ridiculous fee for a leak a $525 fee for him to dig a hole because he was a large guy I told them before making the appointment that this was a crawl space yet they tried to make me pay for the tech to fit I sent him away at the cost just because I'm a woman your not ripping me off

The work done on my bathtub was horrible. I called ben franklin plumbing to replace a bathtub spigot. It cost $410 to replace a spigot that I supplied The technician accidentally broke off too much tile then proceeded to use a LARGE amount of caulk. It looks absolutely hideous. He did a poor job caulking and left large holes. I woke up to a bathtub filled with ants. Contacting customer service did no good, they made no effort to fix the issues, leaving me to have to call another plumber and pay to fix their terrible work Do not use this company, they are horrible and there are plenty of other competent and honest plumbers.

Plumber was efficient, knowledgeable, but exorbitant price. Some discussion then installation under sink water filter, 10 minute job, I supplied filter. Charged $465. Gave comment on shower problem but did not repair. Would never use this company again.

Called them around 8 am for an emergency call. They told me that it was available today until 5 pm and since it's and emergency the up charge is 139 dollars I gave them my credit card info and there goes the pending payment. It's 4pm and I haven't received an, email text call nothing. I call them and she has no idea when they will be here and there's no way to contact the plumber. Don't really know how their service is work wise but from what I experienced if you have an emergency this is not the company to go to. EMERGENCY?!! FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY

My tenant stated that the toilets and washing machine were flooding so I called Benjamin Plumbing. They responded quickly and the service was great. It is the pricing that I am concerned about. The plumber stated that everything was OK and not to worry. He stated that I could pay $150 plus the $29 service fee or I could sign up for the annual maintenance program of $99 plus the service fee. Of course I signed up for the cheaper of the two. After thinking about it for a day, I thought it was a ripe of to be charged over $100 for nothing to be wrong. I cancelled the program and the incident only cost me $29 then. Every one I talked to was super friendly, nice and got me my refund with no issue. I just don't know why I was forced to sign up for their program or why it was over $100 for nothing to be wrong. I feel like the plumber took advantage of me financially. I will not return as a customer. I don't trust this company anymore.

In response to the manager and the inflated quote. I did not need a new garbage disposal as the one I had was less than a year old. I do have the sink I installed now and the cost was far less than what you wanted and it all works perfectly.

This company trying to charge a family 1500.00 dollars for a 500.00 job. Shame on them.
