Keith is amazing! Keith came out today to look at our dishwasher that wasn't draining properly. I was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise. He conducted himself very professionally and did everything he could. While he wasn't able to yet fix our problem he pointed us in the right direction (contact the dishwasher company) since the dishwasher is still under warranty.

I will be recommending not only this company but Keith to anyone I know looking for a plumber and will be using them in the future (hopefully not too soon though).

Thanks again Keith for all your hard work!

If you want to pay fees, go with this company. I hired them to replace a ball valve on the main water line. When I set the appointment, they were not clear that I had to pay a $56 fee just for them to show up. When the work was done, the valve did not fully open because it hit the pressure regulator underneath. The plumber said that it was not a big deal because if it opened 90% it was working. Not good quality of the work. I had him move the pressure regulator to make sure the valve opened at a 100%.

Now, they quoted $383 for the job (standard price) but on top of that I had to pay for the $56 fee and the plumber kept selling their subscription plan which I am not interested on. I thought the $56 were going to be absorbed by the quoted job. When I complained about the extra fee, the plumber said that's what they do. I expressed my disappointment and the plumber kept saying ""whatever"" in front of my house. At no point I changed my tone of voice and I tried to kept calm but clearly, you can see my frustration in my writing. Poor quality right off the bat and fees that everybody hates. The three stars are because of the soldering work which was well done but definitely won't hire this company again.

I should have gone with Plumbing & Sewer Solutions (I have no relationship to them)

Not complaining about the service as the tech was knowledgeable and friendly. If you have a lot of $$ you want to throw away on plumbing, this is the company for you. We were trying to contact another local company which we had previously done business with, but BF answered as they had taken over the account. We were charged a phenomenal amount for something that would have cost 1/3 of what we paid had our previous plumber done the work. We'll be crossing this one off our list of vendors.

Do not use. I'm located in Danville and had very poor service over 4 visits. Different technician all 4 visits. Very late arrivals. But most importantly they wouldn't itemize the cost of parts and labor and over inflated the amount. When we challenged it they knocked off some arbitrary amount with no details behind it. Over priced and not honest with cost details. Never using again.

Keith Lettier is the most professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and expeditious plumber, foreman and estate management professional I have ever known. He is a Jack of many excellent trades and if there's any service he doesn't have the bandwidth to provide, he will have an excellent referral in lieu. For the caliber of work that Keith does, I'd expect to be paying at least double the rate. If you want the job done correctly, durably and with quality, Keith is the only choice and you'd be lucky for his time.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Our sewer line clogged up..not for the first time, and my girlfriend called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. The guy came over that morning, and ""said"" he tried to snake the pipe. Said he put 75 feet of snake down the line, and nothing happened. Then he told her he put a camera down the line, and that the cast iron pipe had corroded, and it had deteriorated to the point where he couldn't snake it more vigorously or else it would break the pipe. He said we needed to replace all the old cast iron with ABS, 65 feet to the foundation, and it would cost $6400. I told him to write up a bid, and we would get back to him. I do landscaping, and knew the cost of materials wouldn't be that much. Needless to say, I went to Home Depot and bought all the materials myself, and proceeded to crawl under the house and cut away the old pipe. Well.....After the first 45 degree turn there was a HUGE clog...If he snaked it my name is Forrest Gump!!
So....After spending $220 dollars in materials...and a day under the house, the problem is solved! I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE!

Recently we had a leaking kitchen faucet which was installed about 5 five years ago by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Luckily it is still under the 5-year warranty. We called the company and the operator promptly arranged an appointment. Although they had to cancel the first appointment due to an emergency but they quickly arranged another appointment. Finally Joaquin, a pleasant and skillful technician, came to replace the faucet. He paid attention to details. Not only he fixed the faucet nicely and professionally, adjusting the faucet to my satisfaction, he also made sure he did a super clean job in my house and kitchen with no trace of mess left behind. I did not have to pay a penny for this new nice faucet. I'm very happy with the company and their crew, particularly a big Thank you to Joaquin. I'll for sure use their service in the future and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The plumbers did great work, but it is such a hassle to deal with the call center in Arizona. The call center is very rude.

We've used Benjamin Franklin before (hot water heater, toilet repair, clogged sink) and have always had the problem fixed. I've wondered if we were paying a bit of a premium though. Today may have confirmed it.

Just had a technician Michael come out and replace a water pressure regulator as we had zero water in our house. We had suspected this to be the issue. The work was done promptly and Michael was courteous and helpful ensuring the job was completed and functioning properly.
The quote we were given seemed high but as a family of 5 we needed water immediately so felt we didn't have a choice.

We paid about $850 for total services and part. However, when pressed for a simple breakdown of parts and labor it could not be provided. My guess is the part was $350 which means I spent $500 on labor which was about 2 hours. Seems a little steep? I think there needs to be more transparency in their pricing. Perhaps we are indeed paying a premium for same day service on an urgent issue. If that's the case then you just need to know that going into the engagement with them.

There is no such thing as monsters, this is what I tell my children. That is until you're faced with a massive plumbing problem. Then as an adult, you truly know that monsters are in fact real.

Things were just off in my bathroom. Between when I did laundry it backed up into the bathtub and the toilet, just not flushing. Something was wrong. So my man called Benjamin Franklin.

Wayne was awesome! He is no BS and by the end of this, almost plumbing nightmare, he felt like family. The entire team that came and worked at our house were so easy to work with. This was a big scary job and they really worked hard to make sure that I didn't have more work done than was necessary. It was a week long anxiety attack for me but they came through and in the end it wasn't as bad as initially predicted.

We also signed up for their maintenance service that involves not just plumbing but electrical too. So far so good. We were very impressed with their service. If you have a big scary job, call Benjamin Franklin.
