I called on a Monday afternoon and they offered to come out after hours for $159 or the next day for $59. I chose the next day and they gave me a window. They came inside of that window. Effrain was very courteous and forthright about the problem. It turned out that the clog was a broken pipe and roots in the pipe. He couldn't solve it with a snake. So, he called it in and gave me full replacement price on the spot. Again, very clear about what the problem was, about why it would cost what it did, about what would be my best path forward.

The problem isn't fixed yet because I haven't pulled the trigger to do it, but I look forward to working with them to get it repaired.

Benjamin Franklin, ""The Punctual Plumber"" started off with our service technician showing up 2 hours late, then the next day he showed up 4 hours past the arrival time...should have known then! Long story short, they tried to SCAM us. After replacing 3 feet of our sewer pipe for...$3.9k! they tried to say we needed a new sewer line and said it would cost $17k+!!!! Needles to say we called for a second quote and was told nothing was wrong with our sewer pipe. PLUS the new plumber had to redo the work done by Benjamin Franklin because they did such a horrible job the plumber said he couldn't let us live with that type of a hack job. The new plumber completed everything for under $400. HORRIBLE company with no ethics! Tried to talk with the manager about the issues, but he was extremely rude and tried to justify why their price was so much much more. If you want to overpay by 10x and then have to pay another plumber to fix the issues caused by them then yes, I would recommend them. Absolutely horrible company with no ethics at all.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came out to check a ""leak"" that we had in our bathroom and initially, we thought that we had to cut through the floor to get to the pipes, or cut through the walls to repipe the whole house; 6-8 weeks of work to get to the leak, fix the leak, repipe that part of the house, and then all the remodeling we'd have to do to the bathroom. We were looking at over $7K worth of work...

And then came Ariel, who is our plumbing angel in disguise. He came, ready to tear through the floor, cut up the wall, etc. as he was supposed to do. However, before he did any of that, he wanted to not only double check, but triple check that the leak was a ""leak"" and that it was coming from where we had initially thought. After spending more than hour just assessing the situation, Ariel and his team concluded that the leak wasn't coming from our house, but from the house next door that had creeped beneath our house. In doing so, he saved us thousands of dollars of unnecessary work and thankfully helped our neighbor out in the process as well.

Amazing customer service from the company, especially Ariel and his team for being so thorough and careful. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is our go-to for any future plumbing needs.

This was my fourth experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in the last 12 years. As in each of the previous times, I found them to be prompt, efficient, and totally reliable. In fact, I have never had to call them back for follow-up service for the same repair. When it comes to plumbing, you want the problem fixed quickly and correctly the first time. This company does not disappoint.

This time the kitchen sink would not drain. I called the company Sunday evening. (Yes, they actually staff the phones on Sunday!) And by 9:30 Monday morning, Jonathan was at my door. After inspecting under the sink and under the house, he called in Oliver who made a second assessment and presented my options, explaining everything in great detail. I opted to have about 10 feet of pipe replaced under the house, but was concerned about getting such a big job (I thought) done the same day. However, by 5:00 pm that day, all the bad pipe had been replaced and connected to the main drain line. Oliver took the time to show me where the old pipe had deteriorated and then went back under the house to test the new plumbing for leaks. Happy to say I was able to start running the dishwasher with last night's dirty dishes before my wife came home from work.

I couldn't be happier with the repair and, if the need arises, I won't hesitate to call on Benjamin Franklin Plumbing again. Need I say more?

I'd be very careful of these folks. I had a main line backup at my house and the plumber that came out was very nice and got things working again. However, I was told that I need a new sewer line which he bid out at $20K and it was interesting that he knew exactly where to refer me for financing such a project. After speaking with a couple independent plumbers, I feel pretty certain that I have other options that will cost much, much, much less. Very disappointing that some companies operate this way. I don't think I'll be calling these folks back. It's always my preference to go with a local/independent, but this was the only plumber that could come out when I needed one urgently.

This was the first time that I used their services. They came out on a Sunday a few weeks ago The person taking the call was very professional. The plumber (Darrell) was exceptionally nice and worked to figure out my problem. Our toilet drain in the house was plugged. He did a great job and the price was really fair. Strongly recommend. I normally fix things myself and I really appreciated having a reliable company to call when I get stuck.

Jimmy Marquez from Ben Franklin Plumbing was very helpful this morning. He was on time and did a great job explaining the options, was able to take care of the problem in less than 20 minutes, and made helpful suggestions. The price was very fair and we really appreciate how pleasant he was.

I had recently bought the monthly maintenance program and had a major plumbing leak on December 21st, so I called BFP. Michael came out the next day and came up with a plan to fix the upstairs plumbing. In the middle of fixing what we thought was the problem, Michael discovered another issue. Daniel and Michael took great care in removing my custom-made built in furniture to access the needed ceiling/walls. Turns out I had to have all sewer lines, water lines and the dryer vent all replaced/repaired! Nigel was terrific at figuring out the puzzle of my upstairs plumbing. All of them were professional, pleasant and reassuring. Nigel even came out to help with the inspection walk-through. And Daniel did a great job putting back the built-in furniture and in building a soffit to hide the now ""to code"" sewer pipes. A real master. Fawn handled all of the permit/inspection work and everyone I have dealt with has been great.

Contacted customer service first thing in the morning to set up an appointment for my clogged toilet after waiting several days for other plumbers to call me back. Was very happy at first that they could come out the same day in the afternoon to snake out our toilet (est time frame was 4-7pm-ish). I was waiting on the call from the plumber to let me know he was on his way. Instead around 4pm i get a call from the lady i spoke with that she was very sorry but no one could come out and to call someone else. How horrible is that!! I was very annoyed and frustrated. I thought Benjamin Franklin was supposed to be the #1 plumber to call? And especially annoyed with them calling so late and having to scramble again to find someone else. Would never call for a plumbing issue again - I will take my business elsewhere!!
