Recommended Customer Reviews

Great experience with this company. I had a weird leak coming out of a random pipe. Customer service was responsive and scheduled an appointment for me asap. Oscar G. came to check it all out and fixed it up. He was prompt, friendly and explained what was going on. Thanks!

Major cost for very little work, doesn't look professional in the least, and when they told us that the truck had been swapped out, inventory in the truck hadn't been checked prior to coming over. They told us that they'd have to turn the water off to the ENTIRE complexe in order to fix or replace anything in the place. Then gave three different price quotes, all way too expensive, and then street they were told it would have to be discussed and talked about, they kept trying to get us to go for it, and had to be told THREE times that we weren't going to decide ANYTHING right then and there. So they were WAY too pushy, as if they were trying to get a commission off the entire thing. Trying to add things on that really didn't need to get added on in the first place. Do not use them, they're not working on commission, they're not worth it in the least.

Excellent service by Darnell. Showed up on time for appointment and fixed our plumbing problem in a mattet of minutes. Would definitely use again.

Nate was great. Got the job done, was professional, got out to us fast, definitely recommend.

Don't be fooled public...I had spoken with the area manager several times reporting back the extra cost of having to have the inspector return to my project at the time (7/13). Horrible experience and they did not live up to their word of 100% guarantee .
Also no response from them after my review as he said would happen!

I've had interaction with them twice but didn't use their service. The first time I called about a toilet issue. They stuck a camera down a pipe in the front yard, made a video, and said we would need to have the line redone in the next few years - to the tune of $14K! They didn't even address the issue in the bathroom. I called another plumber who replaced the toilet. The second time I was looking at plumbers on Home Advisor for some faucet work. They didn't even call to set up an appointment. A plumber just showed up! He was sent away immediately, and I called the office to complain. I do not like this company and will never use them.

Benjamin Franklin sent a plumber to replace an earthquake valve on my gas line. He did a good job of replacing the valve but he forgot to turn the gas back on to my house. I had no not water and no stove. When I called to have someone come to turn it back on they made me wait 4 days. I had no hot water and no stove to use for 4 days. To make it worse, I had house guests who could not shower and were forced to go out to eat. I will never call Benjamin Franklin again due to their poor customer service.
Benjamin Franklin did come and repair the earthquake valve installation after 3 days. It now works and I have hot water and gas to my stove.

I wrote a bad review on 8/22/16. Later that day Field Operations Supervisor Ron called me. He offered to send me a $300 check to take down my bad review. I didn't agree. He increased to $300 and a free snaking. I asked if this was contingent on my removing the review. He said it wasn't. However, it is now over a week later and no $300 check. Appears it was contingent on my removing my review. 1) Be skeptical of the good reviews here; 2) write a bad review; you can make $300.

We called on Friday morning and needed a plumber ASAP. They were the only company to get a plumber out to us. Miguel showed up and was very prompt, polite, professional and clean. He was very transparent with what needed to be done. We highly recommend using this company and ask for Miguel!

Actually I will like to change my review on Edgar's service. Probably a result of my naivety or urgency to get the issue fixed I did not probe too much into his cost proposal for the resolution. Edgar quoted ~$620. He claimed that the valves and pipe has to be replaced. This could have been with labor costs but even then the estimation was very high.
I managed to call my regular plumber and guess what he solved the problem and it costed me $80 (labor and parts). The only thing he replaced was gasket in the pipe.
I understand business is run to make money but it should not be at the cost of fooling customers to this extent.
I will recommend that no one use their service so that that will come down from their high horse.
