They replaced my hot water heater I previously bought from them. It was easy to access in the garage. It was under warranty but it cost over $700 to replace for about two hours of work. I signed off on it at the time but later thought that roughly $350 per hour was too much to pay. I Called the manager to express the concern and ask for explanation of the cost. He said he would research and call me back. Never heard from him going on 3 weeks now. The work was good but I won't be using them again.

I had an emergency ruptured pipe....spewing water from a backyard faucet that just broke suddenly late on a Friday afternoon. Couldn't turn off the main.....in a panic....called the City to assist....and called MULTIPLE plumbers advertising emergency services.....all saying couldn't come until the next day.....UNTIL I finally called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing....and they said of course they could send a plumber....a friendly voice who called me back to tell me one was on the way! In short order way before I expected ADAM arrived with such a kind and encouraging way. He assessed all....gave me all the options carefully explained, and got to work. Adam solved the problem and made sure all was in order and carefully turned the water back on and made sure everything was in order. Adam was very capable, a can do kinda guy, and acted like he would make it all right....and with a SMILE!! I can't thank you enough Adam and Ben Franklin Plumbing!!

Nice and friendly technician. I didn't get any work done because the estimate was too high for my liking. The main problem I had was after receiving my estimate
The technician goes 'you know about the $69 service charge right' and I told him no I was never told about it. Then he calls the office and the guy taking the calls out right lied and said he told me about it. If he did I would have waited for someone to come next pay day. I feel like I was swindled out of $69. You should really make sure you give all the information over the phone to a new customer. For this reason alone I will never use this company again.

I have been a Benjamin Franklin Plumbing customer for a number of years, but I was so impressed with this last service call, I needed to write this review to let others know about the fantastic work done at this company. I spoke with Brooks at the office to arrange service for my water heater that kept turning off. He was polite and helpful in finding a service time that best fit my schedule. Danny S. came out promptly and quickly discovered the problem with my water heater. He could have left it at that, but he took the time to do a careful inspection of my unit. He discovered a leak that probably didn't have anything to do with the water heater turning off, but with more investigation on his part, led to finding that my water heater was covered under warranty for a full replacement. Long story short, Danny's thoroughness and advocacy led to us getting a new water heater for just the cost of installation. Furthermore, when Danny came back to install the new water, he did an exemplary job refitting the pipes perfectly, showing a high degree of workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail. I can't recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing more highly. We've had nothing but good experiences overall and a particularly great experience with Danny.

OK, you know how experiences with plumbers can be a NIGHTMARE? Well, I NEVER write yelp reviews but I had to with this particular experience to let everyone know that my experience today with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, with SPECIAL kudos to Dre Sullivan, was an absolute DREAM!!!!! Dre was informative, courteous, professional.... the list goes on, but I'll just add that he was also very nice to our dogs too.... :) Honestly, I would recommend BFP to anyone after today's experience. Dre is the BEST, if I haven't already made that clear. Hope that we will always get this guy back when we need a BFP again!!!! We are very pleased with the service and professionalism of this company. We called to have three faucets installed (x 1 in the kitchen and x 2 in the bathroom). Adam was on time and quickly assessed our needs and provided us with a quote before he started work. Everything was completed to our satisfaction and looks great. He cleaned up (even vacuumed his work areas). He checked our water pressure and found it to be running high and adjusted it before he left bringing it into normal levels. This was something I was not aware was occurring and can put stress on your pipes. It could even void a warranty if something to were to become damaged. This I was not charged for and a courtesy of Adam. I will use Ben Franklin again. Good job Adam! This is one hard working young man who takes pride in his job.

I received a call from a woman who explained the process and the fact that I should have had inspections and annual flushes to avoid the leak. The prices quoted include the cost of that and labor as well as the hot water heater itself. As a good will gesture, she offered to provide the inspection/flushes for a number of years. 6 months have passed. I contacted them, no record of the call was found but a very polite young man took the information and offered to ""dig into it"". More to come...

After calling two other ""24 hour emergency"" plumbing services and leaving messages about ""raw sewage leaking into my home"" and still waiting for a return call (24 hours plus later) .. Ben Franklin returned my call within 15 minutes and had a technician out within the hour on a Sunday afternoon. Adam was very prompt, professional and made sure everything was in proper working order before he left 4 hours later. I was very impressed with their customer service from my first phone call to the technician to the cleanliness of the two bathrooms after he was finished (he cleaned the sewage out of both showers as he said - ""nobody wants to do that dirty work and I already had my gloves on""). These guys get my vote and my return business from now on. Thank you Ben Franklin and Adam for returning ""funday"" into our Sunday.
