Requested a quote from Bell Brothers. The person who came out not only charged over $100 for the 30 minutes of examination, but proceeded to tell me the entire apparatus in question needed to be replaced (with no way around it) which he estimated would run me over $500. I asked for some time to think about it to which they said if I were to call back in a few days, it would be a new service fee on top of the apparatus replacement fee.

Eventually, I was able to get someone else to fix the issue for far less. In addition, nothing needed to be replaced or torn out as Bell Brothers had told me. I will not be using their services again.

I just had a great experience with a sales Rep from Bell Brothers. His name is Raj Chauhan. Very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. When looking for this type of work in the bay area, hopefully you can get him as your rep.

I called Bell Brothers to snake my drain and they had a tech out the next day. They called me in advance to tell me he was 30 minutes out and he showed up early. After discussing the slow drain and my toilet not flushing, Miguel took a look and after adjusting the toilet, it works. It wasn't the drain, it is just old. I appreciate his honesty and friendliness. Thank you Miguel!!

We have used Bell Brothers for many of our projects, new HVAC system for main house, biannual checkup on in law quarters and plumbing.

Today we had them install a new bay window, a 12' sliding patio door and a 10' sliding patio door. The installers were on time, friendly and no nonsense. They got right to the work. They completed the job quickly and completely cleaned up every space. Would highly recommend them.

Our laundry room basin clogged up suddenly (which also makes our bathtub and shower do crazy things). Bell Brothers not only helped our landlord set up an account for the (very affordable) drain clearing service, but they also sent someone out to us within 1/2 an hour on a Sunday during a rainstorm!

Our technician, Devin, was freakin' amazing too! He was fast, friendly, and helpful. It was absolutely dumping rain on the poor guy, and I kept apologizing for making him come out in a storm. But he was super cool about it and even took the time to make conversation while he worked. Thanks, Bell Brothers (and Devin)! :)

Our water heater needed servicing so we called Bell Brothers even though this heater wasn't purchased from them. It was discover to have several serious safety issues so we agreed that we needed to replace it. Bell brothers had a new one installed within days. Less than a month later the HVAC unit on an addition to our house just quit. It happened in an area most used by us. A service person came the same day we called. He got the unit running again but that night the heat didn't come on. They came right out and the unit was checked by 2 service guys. It is a 40 year old unit that was full of rust and electrical issues so we agreed it was time to replace it.Bell Brothers found the perfect unit in Sacramento and not on a ship floating in a port somewhere and the very next day had it installed. They gave us options and we never felt pressure to buy anything. They were very professional and even though all of this was expensive probably the same as any of their competitors we know they will be right here to help us again if needed. We highly recommend Bell Brothers.

These guys used to provide top notch service at fair price but as grew seem to have forgotten some of the values and use their reputation to see increase prices and reduce quality. My landlord had these guys maintain his for over decade then was told system was bad had to be replaced without any sign or indication on previous service checkups. Feel bad for the landlord as this company took fees and then refused to give any discount on new system which wanted over $12,000 for? Lesson learned the hard way best to avoid paying unneeded fees and take care to keep filters and units clean.

Bell Brothers installed a new HVAC system in our home, replacing a 25-year old model that they repaired several times before it needed replacing. We trust Bell Brothers because their price quotes are within range of their competitors, their staff are professional and helpful, and their work on our systems always stand the test of time

Well, I paid for them to come out and service my ac/ furnace. Both worked before they came out. When they left, neither one worked. Dude tried to sell me a $40 disconnect box for $600, even though it worked before they started. Granted it needed fuses, but that was all.
So, I called, and they said they would send someone out, but that I had to pay another$90!!! Oh sure, they said they would waive the fee IF they decided it was their fault. Uhm, no.
Their whole gig is to upsell stuff, and too bad if somebody gets screwed in the process. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We used Bell Brothers earlier this year (Feb. 2021) for a complete replacement of the HVAC system in our house. They did a great job then and any issues during the project were attended to and resolved in a timely manner. So, because of this great experience, we decided to go with Bell Brothers on another HVAC system replacement in another home. BIG MISTAKE!! Being a ""repeat customer"" did absolutely nothing for us, the job went horribly and drug on for almost 2 months. Without exaggeration, we had to make well more than 20 calls to Bell Brothers, to get the system installed correctly and then to get it inspected to see if the system was performing as it was sold. Responses and follow-ups were non-existent. If you want to avoid being frustrated and ignored, don't use Bell Brothers. They advertise that they are the ""No Surprise Guys"". Well ..... surprise! They really don't back up what they say in their commercials and they don't give a crap about their customers once they have received payment from them. *You are required to make payment before the installers leave your property. (Evidently whether the system is working correctly or not)
