In 1982, Jerry and Kenny Bell studied HVAC in Phoenix, Arizona, gaining a solid foundation in heating and air conditioning. After finishing at the top of their class, they started working in the trades to acquire hands-on experience. In 1985, they ventured into the pizza industry, opening a pizzeria in their hometown while simultaneously working for local HVAC contractors. By 1991, they established Bell Bros., starting with a single old pizza delivery truck converted into a service vehicle and placing an ad in the phone book. They made pizzas and waited for calls, ready to switch shirts and serve customers when the phone rang. By 1995, the HVAC segment relocated from the pizza parlor to its own building, bringing on their first employees. Their ambition was to become the leading heating and cooling service provider in the region. Bell Bros. is now recognized as the largest heating and air conditioning company in the Sacramento area.

Over 28 years ago, Bell Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning was founded by two brothers with a vision: to create a family of customers who would enjoy unmatched service and guaranteed 100% satisfaction.

Our vision has consistently been to deliver the highest quality heating and air services to our customers, now encompassing plumbing, sewer, window replacement, and ductwork and insulation services. What sets us apart is our commitment to ongoing, top-quality training for our technicians, who take great pride in their work and the care they provide for your home. Experience the Bell Brothers difference for yourself.

Where do I even begin? We were having an issue with our thermostat, it was constantly rebooting. We had a tech come out from bell bros, he went into the attic, said that it was over heating, and that we would need to ""have the blower wheel, the housing, and the indoor coil cleaned."" $507.00 was the price. He also said that ""rodents are in the ducts"" and that we should have them replaced. The assumption was that it was going to be between $5K-7K for that, hey, it's ok..""they have guys.""
For the ""diagnostic"" it was $79.95 just to tell me these lies.

We ended up declining, and having another HVAC company come by and check what was going on. They ended up finding nothing about rodents, or a ""nest of rodents"".. it was so clean that you could ""eat off the floor"".. what ended up being the issue? a faulty switch that this tech fixed in a matter of minutes, and saved me hundreds of dollars.

This company is garbage, they're all a bunch of rats. All they care about is money. Don't hire them for anything. STRAIGHT. UP. GARBAGE.

These are two reviews that I placed on Google that I need to put on Yelp as well. The results are mixed. On the first part, I rated them a 5. On the second part, it dropped to a 3. Please read on and you will see why.

ORIGINAL REVIEW WITH UPDATE
It went very well with my HVAC tune-up. The tech was excellent and even took pictures of the things he did to make the HVAC unit run great. The only thing I would say that went not so good was he didn't introduce himself when he arrived. Sounds petty, but I like to know who is working on my stuff. His name is Greg and he did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend Bell Brothers for your HVAC and plumbing needs. They have a great PM program and even send reminders when your maintenance is due. Unlike that other company I used to do business with.

03.01.2019 (Update) - I had called Bell Brothers to have a toilet that I purchased at a box store installed. To my amazment, they do not install toilets. Correction, they'd not install 3rd party toilets. If you purchase one from them, they will install it at a price approaching four figures. Yes, they do warrant the work on their toilet for 5 years, but I was never given a reason why no third party toilets. I have a maintenance contract with them for plumbing and HVAC and I am very happy with that piece, but I most likely going to cancel and find a company that is full service. I have done some price comparison on some routine maintenance items, and found that Bell Brothers is quite a bit higher than companies that I contacted. I am verybdisappointed in that particular piece of the service from Bell Brothers. I even offered to sign a disclaimer absolving them of any problems with the toilet after install, but they still told the tech no. Should you use Bell Brothers? I leave that to your discretion. Personally, ii will cancel my contract after items up as I believe they do not refund the difference if you cancel before the expiration date.

I had Brian from Bell Brothers estimate new windows for my home in Folsom. Brian was professional, demonstrating the windows parts and pieces, something that all of the other contractors did not do. A couple just had a brochure, one didnt have anything but a cheap price.
I noticed that most of the competitiors salespeople were driving thier own cars. They must not be employees. Must save money for the owners if those companies.
I looked at the warrantys provided by The Bell Brothers and Anlin and found them to be the best avaiable. Jeff came out and measured my windows and even though there was some trim that needed to be replaced, because of the "" No surprise guarantee"" they didnt even charge me. The install team arrived on time and were awesome. I cant be happier. I highly recommed the Bell Brothers.

HIGH FIVE to Bell Brothers ""window guys"", Mitch and Jeff! Mitch came by yesterday to give me an estimate on possibly replacing my dual pane slider, which was installed 15 years ago by a company that is now out of business. He decided it might be an easy fix so called Jeff to stop by today and check it out. Both Mitch and Jeff show up, exactly on time, found the issue and fixed it. They even pulled parts out of their truck that aren't standard parts for their quality windows.

THANK YOU MITCH AND JEFF! As always, Bell Brothers continues to keep me a happy customer.

Really appreciated Keoki Spath swinging by so quickly when we call and told Bell Bros that there was a loud rattling sound when our new heater went on. We purchased a new air conditioner/heater about 8 months ago and have had great service. Keoki found the problem, which was a loose metal piece that needed to be tightened more securely. He was thorough and fast.

The only we ever received was when we had our free tune up before winter. The technician accidentally stepped onto the dry wall in our celing and failed to mention it. I noticed the big crack in our hall ceiling and called Bell Bros. They came out right away and repainted the cracked area, offering to re-dry wall if not satisfied. It looked fine after that.

I do like that they train the employees but the prices are outrageous. They had to cut a galvanized steel pipe in the attic and charged a 700$ difficult access fee! Another time they tried to charge us 700$ for a simple sink repair. We called the manager and he gave a discount. If you dont know anything about plumbing they will RIP you off! Just recently we had a furnace tune up and the HVAC guy was very sociable. But we called another company for a second opinion and he said they are trying to scare us with safety code.

Called Bell Brothers to come fix a heater that stopped working over night. From the lady who set up the appointment to the tech who fixed the promptly, everything ran very smoothly. They were out within hours of my initial call and promptly fixed the problem. Turns out it was a simple fix with just a blown fuse. Tech fixed it, cleaned the unit and tested everything to make sure it was running perfectly... all for a very reasonable cost. Courteous, prompt and professional. Doesn't get better than that.

My main sewer line was clogged. They had a special, so I thought I'd give them a try. They sent someone out in about 90 minutes, who said it was impossible to do. I told them I'd had it done 3 times before by Roto-Rooter (tree roots keep growing into my sewer line.) the guy said ""nope, not possible"" then left. I called Roto-Rooter, and they came right out (about 30 minutes) and fixed it, just like before.

Horrible. The installed a water purifier( that we got talked into buying) and we didnt really want in the first place and a water hearter as well. They have had to come back to fix their own work about 6 or 7 times now and weve only had it about 2 months and it still hasnt passed the right city codes their work keeps failing. And not to mention they sent out guys whod only been working their about 4 weeks to do the job every time. And they did a bit of a hack job that were stuck paying for and still isnt up to code. And their comminication is horrible. 0 stars lol

I would not go here, their reviews are not great for a reason. Very overpriced!! They are a large company with inflexible pricing. I had them come look at a broken wall gas furnace. They came out quick, the technician was knowledgable but they are a complete rip off. $80 fee to come out (okay), $230 to clean the unit (ridiculous), $230 to replace a $20 part (ridiculous) and $230 if I needed another part replaced, they were not sure yet. A possible $770, then they tried to sell me on a monthly maintenance thing where you pay $10 a month for years. I will not try these guys again, their pricing us insane.

G to TJ Rob, he got the job done quick, much much cheaper and was very helpful, honest and open about pricing.
