We have had a great experience using Beekman's. John & his wife Amanda are super helpful & friendly.
We called them out to snake our sewer line shortly after we bought our house. Within a few days it was backed up again & it was apparent that the line had issues & would likely have to be replaced. John was kind & honest and willing to work with us to bring the cost down by letting us do the digging to replace the pipes and by being very flexible and responsive with our timeline.
We have been very happy with the quality of work and the service from Beekman's. Highly recommended.

Great plumber. I've met and worked with various plumbers and Beekman's is the best by far. John really knows his stuff and speaks in a no-nonsense way. He is very helpful, and when there are choices involved, he presents them very clearly and neutrally even if one choice involves me going with someone else.

TERRIBLE with scheduling. We have been stood up 4 times. Although, Amanda is very friendly, she is always rescheduling. Today I left work early, losing an hour of pay to meet john around 3. He NEVER showed, and Amanda texted at 4 to tell me they were not going to show. 4 times too many. Based on other 1 star reviews, it seems wise to avoid Beekman's Plumbing. Always pays to read the 1 star reviews.

We were dispatched to Beekman's by our home warranty, Old Republic, for a leaking water heater problem. They came the next day and fixed everything cleanly and efficiently. We've got our hot water back and couldn't be happier. If we ever have any plumbing issues (hope we do not but they do happen) we'd use Beckman's services and we would recommend them to others.

We had several jobs around the house that needed to be done. We had read the reviews on Yelp so called Beekman's Custom Plumbing to come out. The first impression of the company is his friendly, professional and efficient wife answering the phone and making the appointments. Then he shows up - friendly, soft spoken professional listening to what we want and asking good clarifying questions with a dollar estimate up front.

My husband usually does our plumbing but was too busy. He is quite picky and supervises quite closely! He, too, has been very happy with all of Beekman's work.

Mr. Beekman repaired leaking faucets in two bathrooms. Those older valves required special orders to get that accomplished. It took physical effort in a small space and extra time for finding the replacement parts.
Then, he replaced all the fixtures in the tub making it look like new again. He showed us options, bought the parts and installed them.
In addition, he installed our new faucet in the bar while cleaning up the plumbing below.
All this work was accomplished in two visits. Expertly done. No problems.

We called him again to replace shower valves. Done.

Just recently we called him out again to replace our kitchen faucet, install new sink strainers and baskets and install all new plumbing pipes under the sink. When he saw the scope of work, he suggested replacing the old garbage disposal and why. He was exactly right about that. Again, he suggested fixtures and stores where we could shop for the kitchen faucet. He offered to pick it up for us from the vendor when it came in. As soon as it came in, we were scheduled and the work completed in a few hours. Not only does my sink look new, even the plumbing under the sink is clean looking and solidly in place.

In working with any vendor, extra work/repairs often present themselves. Working with John, I feel confident that the extra detail is real. And, sometimes, there is no charge. He just simply takes care of it. He is fair and honest.

I highly recommend Beekman's Custom Plumbing. Efficient, professional, friendly, honest, skilled.

Had a great experience with Beekman's Plumbing. John & team recently redid the Orange burg piping in the front of my house. I found him to be fair and he spent a lot of extra time explaining to me the work he was doing and my options. He was a real professional. Overall I would highly recommend John & Amanda for any plumbing work in your house.

John was sent by the warranty company to look at my toilet leaking through the ceiling. He diagnosed the issue quickly, but it took a strange turn after that.
He indicated that the flange was too low due to tile work, and thought long and hard and decided it would need the floor removed and tile relayed, new board underneath to raise it, etc, etc. Luckily my realtor took pause at this. A 2nd and 3rd opinion by others showed this is a common issue and thats why they invented flange extenders. A quick fix compared to a thousand dollar work.
John seemed knowledgeable and presented well.
Maybe he was presenting the Gold-standard fix, when an easier/cheaper solution would get the job done. Not sure what to think.

We recently moved to Pacifica to from Boston and the Condo we purchased had numerous plumbing issues. The home warranty company assigned Beekman's Plumbing to help solve our problems and that was our very good luck! John and his wife Amanda have been a great resource for us as we have tackled the plumbing problems in our older unit. John has been professional, helpful and is extensive experience has helped to avoid having to cut open walls to solve problems. For that we are very grateful! John and his wife, Amanda, do a terrific job of professional customer service. I had an issue with a recirculating pump and had three plumbers come through my home warranty service who were unable to correct the issue. Finally, I requested Beekman who had helped me with other issues through the years. Through his determination and perserverance with the pump manufacturing company, he resolved the issue. And he even treated my dogs kindly.

great communication for setting up a quick appointment. Gave me a call to say he was going to be early (!). Installed new toilet quickly. Really nice. Only thing is that I wish he could have taken all of the cardboard/foam that came with it, but also understood he had other jobs to do.
