First, let me preface this by saying it has been difficult for me to find reliable services in Simi Valley since I moved here 6 years ago. So I doubly appreciate the prompt, courteous and professional service I received from Beck's Plumbing this past week. I recently had my kitchen countertops replaced with granite. I needed to find a plumber to unhook my kitchen plumbing and then re-hook my new sink and faucet after the new counters were installed. I left one detailed voicemail with Beck's and the promptly called me back and offered to come right over and give me an estimate on the job. Once at the house, I was given a fair estimate for the work (plus a small leak in a pipe that perfectly coincided with his visit) and he was able to do the unhooking and leak repair that day. As promised, they were back the day after the countertop installation to reinstall my plumbing, sink and faucet. My kitchen looks fabulous and it was a stress-free project thanks in part to Beck's plumbing. I'm definitely keeping their number on hand for our next project (or leak). Thanks for a job well done!

I agree with the other happy clients that this is one great family team. They returned my initial call within 20 minutes and were at my house within the designated time frame which happened to be only two hours away. Making the designated window is amazing enough in my experience. My water heater was not staying lit. My husband was pretty sure he knew what part needed to be replaced. Jim confirmed this part needed to be replaced. He did not try to talk me into a more expensive repair. He proceeded to call the manufacturer right there (on speaker so I could hear) and ordered the part to be delivered to my home. What I didn't realize, but Jim did, was that the manufacturer was not charging us for the part! Turns out it was still under warranty and I had no idea.Jim and his son left and told me to call them when it got in and they would come replace it. The part arrived in two days (""Brrrr). I called Jim at 2:00 on a Friday afternoon. I heard back from him within minutes again and he was there and gone by 3:15! No more cold showers for this girl! I am very impressed by the personal service and honesty of this team. They only charged me for the install which was $95. I hope not to need their services any time soon, but should the need arise, I will not hesitate to use them again.

Jim Beck does great work at a fair price. Not too long again, I called him because I had been experiencing a mysterious water-hammer problem that would occasionally cause the pipes to shake violently in my home (sounded similar to a jack hammer - no exaggeration). Long story short, less than 30 minutes after my initial call to him, he came to my house to assess the problem, made his diagnosis in about 15 minutes, then made the repairs about two days later. I was very pleased with his workmanship, and respect for my home. He was kind, patient, prompt, and got the job done as agreed to: on time and on budget. I would gladly call him again for any future plumbing problem/project, and would highly recommend Jim for any of your plumbing needs.

First off, I am new to Simi Valley, Ca. I was always told, ""Bring your wallet when you go to California"" EVERYTHING costs a lot more there. I was very happy with my service with ""Becks Plumbing"", they are a family owned company that still has good old fashioned manners and a family feel to them. They were fast, friendly and fixed the TWO (2) problems quickly. I knew right away they were the best and not just because he and his son were such a nice honest people, he didn't even charge me a service call fee or a repair charge !!! THAT just doesn't happen anymore, I admit the problems were simple (to them) but not me. They could have easily handed me a bill and I would have gladly paid it. I am sure they can't afford to do that every time but what a treat to have that happen to me. I am a very happy BECKS PLUMBING customer!

I called very early in the morning and there was an answer. He stated he could come over later this afternoon; told me the time would be between 2 & 4 and arrived shortly after 2. I apologized for the mess and he assured me that we all look the same when it comes to the clogged toilet and it was his job. I stopped feeling so bad. He took about 5 minutes and was done. We had a pipe leaking under the slab in our 45 year old house, so it was time to search for a local plumber to fix the problem. Online searching and family/friend recommendations yielded a lot of different names. We ended up going with a relative's recommendation of Jim Beck of Beck's Plumbing... and we're very happy with that decision.

Prompt, honest, fair price, quality work, hard working, good guy... all what you hope your plumber choice will be, and definitely what was delivered by Jim! Our pipe leak required capping off the water supply to the leaky pipe under the slab and rerouting the water supply through a new exposed pipe. Though it was a large expense we would have preferred not to have incurred, Jim charged a very fair price for the all-day job performed.

We now know who to call if (when) we have plumbing problems in the future, or if we are asked for a recommendation... Jim Beck of Beck's Plumbing!

Jim Beck is a great guy!! He works with my work schedule and comes by at lunch if something needs a repair.

Our landlord is a cheap old witch, but he manages to convince her that things need to be repaired or replaced if the product is old.

Thanks Jim for all of your hard work and for working with our crazy landlord. My husband got to spend a whole day with Jim and his assistant and they worked on many areas of our home, everything is working great for now....

Becks Plumbing is great! I installed a new faucet but had modify the water line connections. Jim and his assistant arrived on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. The work was first rate and they gave a very fair price. Thanks Jim! And thanks Becks Plumbing!
