My 1941 original clay sewage pipes have been a problem since moving in to my Westchester home. This Sunday however they really bit the dust when the Mainline collapsed causing all home fixtures to back-up! What a mess! Called many companies based on referrals to no avail then came upon Bear Plumbing. John and Oscar arrived before their estimates time (a plus on a Sunday call). They tried to clear the Mainline from my clean out w no success so the brought in the camera where they could pinpoint the exact area of pipe that needed the immediate fix. They worked to trench and even go under the threshold of my raised foundation to get to the broken pipe and replace it. I have a gnarly old tree (the culprit) that was so tangled in there they really had to labor to get access to the area that needed replacing. The only reason this is not a 5 star rating is the service was very pricey, even w the discount they gave me. However, the work was well worth the price as its done and hopefully the rest of my pipes will hold up for the time being.

My garbage disposal was leaking. I called AHS, and got a call within 24 hours. They were booked, but managed to get me in. Armani was very courteous and changed my garbage disposal very quickly.

unthoughtful ( not telling owners of broken drawer due to moistness), Dishonest due to not owning up to alerting of mold at leak space. This all within our ""home insurance"" Tried to use outside of this and found to be way overpriced and unhelpful and arrogant. Wont be calling or using ever again.

John and José showed up, fixed a toilet, a sink, and a clogged shower in about twenty minutes flat - while my baby was asleep and stayed asleep. These two are quite a team and seemed to have a great and efficient system at getting things done quick. Five stars for these guys.

Note to the dispatcher: I understand that business is good which means you are busy enough to be able to be short with your customers as they have no choice but to wait - but I'd still appreciate courtesy for the sake of courtesy.

American Home Shield assigned Bear to my leaking shower. I read the reviews about the weird dispatcher system so decided not to call them. They called me the next day and set up an appointment. Armani and his assistant arrived within the appointed time, replaced the cartridge and also fixed the low water flow, which I didn't know was a separate issue. Everything is like new again!

I had a broken toilet at my home. I didn't know what was wrong with it. It could have been anything. I was lucky enough to find BEAR PLUMBING & ROOTER INC. They came over to my home on a Saturday. They identified the problem and had the materials in the truck to fix it. They could have told me it was a huge problem and I wouldn't have known. It was a small problem and they took care of it - and quickly. They also helped with another problem I had and gave me great advice to fix something else myself. I will always call them to help.
