Mariano from Bayshore Plumbers came out on-time to do a quote and, assuming the quote was appropriate, to do the work. We needed a leak in our hallway bathroom fixed. Mariano gave me a quote for $2,500 to fix the bathroom issue and fix a problem with a sagging pipe from our kitchen drain that he found and said needed to be replaced. We agreed to have him fix the bathroom problem for $450 and decided to get more quotes for the pipe issue. The bathroom leak was fixed but I had two other companies quote on the pipe issue - both identified the issue as simply a mounting issue and quoted $350 for the work. Bayshore seems to have much higher prices than others. Be careful and get other quotes before hiring Bayshore.

I posted a review on 9/1/22 and unfortunately am taking it from 5 stars down to three. The actual work is good and we had no issues with that aspect. The second visit that was scheduled, they were a no-show and I called and learned they'd forgotten to schedule it. We tried again, for 12:30pm this week and they showed up at 9:30am. In many situations, early is great but we had to shuffle things around to accommodate an arrival of three hours early. I have no idea if $375 is a reasonable price for fixing a bathtub faucet handle (it needed a tiny plastic piece that the plumber went out to purchase) but it sure seems expensive. The plumber was knowledgable and we appreciate his work; just disappointed in the two scheduling issues and a bit shocked at the cost.

Pilot light went out on our water heater, wouldn't relight. Bayshore responded quickly to our yelp request for a quote, no charge to come out and diagnose the issue.

Someone came out and advised we should either replace the control unit or replace the entire water heater, said he'd send a quote in a couple hours. Later that evening hadn't heard back, I sent an email to follow up, never heard back. Guess they're busy?

Thumbs up for not charging for the inspection, thumbs down for no follow through and wasting my time.

Mariano was very friendly and helpful. We are a local business, and he took the time to explain exactly what he would be doing, the costs, and the likely outcome before beginning work, which was done in a timely fashion. We have had no problems since then. I recommend him specifically, and I'm sure we will be going back to Bayshore in future.

Eddie and his team did a great job replacing my tank water heater with a Noritz 157k btu tankless. There was nothing wrong with my tank, but I simply wanted the extra space and on-demand endless hot water with a tankless. While Eddie gave me suggestions on the latest tankless models out there (e.g. Rinnai, Navien, Rheem), he didn't try to upsell me. He listened to my needs and went with something that was practical for what I wanted. More specifically, I didn't need a larger Rinnai 199K BTU tankless with recirculating that services a 4 bathroom house. I only have two showers and maybe a dishwasher. Other estimates I received were pushing a sale on the more expensive models. Eddie didn't do this. I appreciate that Eddie listened to what I needed. Also, during the install, he was accommodating with how I wanted the venting and piping runs. This was installed in my garage and I'm very particular with aesthetics and didn't want a 3 inch pipe dangling across the middle of my garage. He found a way to run the pipes in a way that either kept them hidden or followed the lines in the garage so that everything looked nice. Eddie and his team were all super polite and humble. I was very impressed with their texting system where they kept me informed when the plumber was scheduled and enroute! I wasn't expecting this level of communication. Lastly, their rates were reasonable and I would highly recommend.
