Tony came to my house to help me find the source of a musty smell in a bathroom - I thought it might be a failed wax seal below the toilet. He came the same day I called, and texted an hour before the appointment to ask if he could come a bit early. I have never worked with a plumber as knowledgeable and easy to communicate with, and he is a fantastic trouble shooter. I ran a few other problems by him when he was here, and he solved them all - previous plumbers had no suggestions. His pricing is extremely reasonable, and he is the only plumber I will call in the future - I feel very fortunate that I found him.

There was water leaking out of the master bedroom shower faucet. The fixtures were from the 1970's so I knew it was about time to the fixtures and cartridge updated. Tony came out to assess the problem. He was upfront and did not want to make any unrealistic promises; he updated me along the way as worked on the faucet and when he went shopping around for the cartridge. Tony found a compatible cartridge and replaced it quickly an at a very reasonable price. Tony also told me that I should start to consider updating the whole faucet / figure in the near future as he showed me the pipe and there was a lot of rust on the current pipe. I will definitely call Tony back when I am ready to replace the whole fixture.

I have to say this company had the best customer attitude I've experienced since starting this remodel in June '14. They had other things too, like expertise and patience, but it was an added surprise that they were so casually careful with my entire home. No fuss, no attitude, just put on the booties, and covered the floors where they worked - and did I say put on the booties EVERY time they came in?

The bathrooms are old, and they made some helpful observations and suggestions about future work that sounded right to me. This was a pleasant change too, because I often get really stupid suggestions from guys who seem to think I'll go for anything. Tony's ideas were conservative, and sound, and a welcome relief.

My sink sprang a leak the other day, due to work done by one of the less impressive crews I've had here, and I realized I could just move on and call Tony! It was like a happy dream - he and his partner were at my house in an hour and took care of everything for a modest price.

Happy to highly recommend them.

Tony is an excellent plumber in ALL ways: Professional, competent, responsive, reliable, thorough, considerate, etc., etc.!!!

We hired him for a bathroom remodel which included moving drains, installing a sink, and a new shower system. He coordinated very effectively with our tile contractor and all work was conducted on a timely basis. When we called him back during the process because we decided we wanted to relocate something we had originally had him put somewhere else, he came almost immediately to take care of it, because our tile contractor needed the change right away and he handled the ""redo"" in a very amiable fashion. He is quite wonderful to work with!

And his rates are MORE than fair. We highly recommend him!

I texted Tony after hours on a Thursday night about an urgent plumbing issue that I needed dealt with the next day. He texted right away and told me that he was not available but that he would refer me to a colleague of his.

It's now 15 minutes after my initial text and I have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

We feel very fortunate to be introduced to Tony, Bay Handyman Plumbing. Tony helped us two plumbing problems, about 18 months apart. One required that he install new faucets in a downstairs bathroom. Since our current hardware in the bathroom is old, it was hard to find replacement parts. However, he worked with us to help identify the right parts. Perhaps I shouldn't say this, but he doesn't charge for all the time he works. Anyway, we were very pleased with the installation of the faucets.

Our second problem was no hot water in a shower in a different bathroom. He diagnosed the problem, went and got the part, and we now have hot water.

Tony is professional and reliable. He also does not work strictly ""by the clock,"" which is a refreshing change from most plumbers these days. I believe that our plumbing bills are lower for this reason.
