Excellent. Called at about 10 am about an issue and I had a fix completed shortly after 12:00 noon. I was given options and a recommendation. Will keep Bay Area Plumbing at the top of my list when a plumber is needed!!

I kid you not, Boris from Bay Area Plumbing literally saved us over $1,000!

We had another plumber come earlier in the day to look at slowly leaking shower handle. There was a flange covering the plastic valve that needed to be changed, but he couldn't get it off. He claimed he would need to cut off a portion of our shower tile wall to access and replace the whole pipe. A service for which he wanted to charge us $1,300.

I was very skeptical, so I found Boris on Yelp, noticing he had really quick reply times for quotes, explain the situation, and an hour later that evening Boris was over at our place examining the problem. 5 minutes later, he was able to undo the flange, just with a simple tool, no saws, no breaking our wall apart, and just over $200 parts and labor. Would have been even cheaper if the other dumbass plumber didn't saw off a shower handle!

For the record the other Plumber was another five star plumber on Yelp. Moral of the story, not all five star plumbers are created equal. Go with Boris!

Boris saved us! Last night, the shower in the apartment of our two-unit building would not turn off. We turned off the main water supply and replaced the washers on the valves. All good, but when I tried to turn the water back on, the handle just spun in my hand. By now, it was after 7:00 p.m. I started calling every ""24-hour"" and ""emergency"" plumbing company I could find online. None of them could respond. None of them had the part needed. All of them said they could come in a day or two. We were getting desperate.

Finally, one of them told me to call Bay Area Plumbing. I reached Boris at 9:15 and he was at my house by 9:35. He didn't have the part, but he made a temporary repair that allowed us to get the water back on. He came back today with the part and fixed it for good. He also re-did my DIY repair -- the right way.

The most incredible service you can imagine!!!! Fast, efficient, friendly, competent, cost-effective ... you name it.

I called Boris and told him about the problem our water heater was having. He called the supplier for parts, told them our serial number, got the parts ordered, and came by and fixed the water heater, and our water heater is like new again. The only thing I had to do was take a photo of the serial number and Boris took care of everything else. I didn't even have to pay for parts because they were under warranty.

We had faucet that wouldn't turn off and Boris came over right away after we called around 9:30pm. He got right down to fixing the faucet really quickly. We previously had another company come out and say they were going to charge hundreds of dollars and need to replace everything. Boris got the job done efficiently without up-selling. Fantastic service - this is the only plumbing company I'll be calling in the future! Boris arrived right on time, checked out the leaky plumbing below my kitchen sink, went back to his van to get his tools, and then came back and repaired it within about 10 minutes. He was professional, nice, and most important: repaired the leak. I couldn't recommend a plumber more highly.

I called Bay Area Plumbing on a Saturday morning at 9AM, for a broken bathroom faucet drain. I was desperate because we had a party planned at 6PM the same day.

Bay Area Plumbing sent a repairman at 11AM, and the bathroom drain was working perfectly by noon. He even had all the parts and recommended replacing the plastic drain that came with the Moen faucet, with a much more durable metal pipe. On top of all that, parts and all was under $200, which is much less that other plumbers I have called for simpler tasks.
