We had a clogged drain and called Boris around 8:30pm. He was over to our home within 15 minutes and unclogged the drain within an hour. He's very responsive and considerate. After the job he left everything nice and clean. We couldn't have asked for a better experience considering the circumstance.

This company is as good a service provider as I've ever experienced. They charge an hourly rate and the plumber arrived at exactly the time he promised. He installed a new kitchen faucet, unclogged the kitchen drain and replaced some broken parts in the sink in 66 minutes. Total charge: $175.

If you contact other local plumbers you'll find that most don't want to charge hourly. Instead they quote fixed rate prices for their services. This is a reasonable way to do business but the prices are absurd. I spoke to several companies that wanted to charge me about $500 for the same work this plumber performed for $175. I think these company have high Yelp ratings because their customers haven't price checked their services.

Boris is the best. I had other plumbers come by to give me estimates and everyone was over charging me. One even told me the problem may be my mixer valve and will need to turn off the water and drain the pipe. The job could take 5-6 hours costing over 1k. Boris fixed the problem in 15 minutes.

We had a problem with both a water heater and leaking hot water faucet in our bathroom. Boris was able to get to us at 7:30 in the evening and had both fixed within the half hour, charging for only one service call. Another plumber had been out previously and did not take the time to resolve either issue. I will not be using anyone else in the future.

All I can say is WOW! We had a flood because our dishwasher was draining into the kitchen line and unbeknownst to us the p-trap had rusted out. We discovered the problem at 9PM when water was leaking into the room below. I called Boris and he was there by 9:30 and done in 20 minutes. After I posted the review above, Boris called me. He explained that they get busy sometimes. I understand and have great sympathy for a professional working a small operation. And the service reviews on Boris are very good. So I would probably give him another chance if the need arises.

I had a leak in the drain underneath my bathroom sink. Assumed this would be an easy fix so I initially hired a TaskRabbit. This guy took 3 hours, two trips to the hardware store, and charged about $250 and make the leak worse. Then got a friend's handy man to try to fix. He came by twice and charged $100. The damn thing was still leaking. Found Boris through Yelp. He came the next morning and fixed it in about 30 minutes. No leaking. Would definitely hire him again.
