Paul and Bay Area Appliance lived up to their 5-star rating. I had an over-the-range microwave (microhood) ordered from Home Depot - Home Depot wasn't able to complete install due to tile/glass backsplash. I contacted numerous (5+) different companies to try and have the install completed, but most were unable to take on the job.
Paul was quick to respond to my request for quote, came in at a reasonable price, and quickly scheduled work for a week out. Work was completed quickly, on time, in a very efficient and professional manner. Would highly recommend Paul and Bay Area Appliance for any appliance installation needs.

Paul did an excellent job with our oven installation and the trim looks great. He is a great communicator. He called ahead and arrived at the expected time. He was very respectful and left everything neat and clean. He tested the oven to make sure it worked. We would highly recommend Bay Area Appliance Installation. These guys installed a total of four appliances in our kitchen: a new cooktop with hood, and a built-in oven and microwave.
When scheduling appointments, we would agree on a day and they promised to provide a time frame two days in advance although they did this even earlier than that. On the day, they gave me a more precise estimate when they were on their way. I am extremely appreciative of this.
The only issue was that the new hood has a smaller profile compared to the old hood and did not cover some unfinished portions of the adjacent cabinets. This was expected however they could only recommend a way to address it instead of including as part of the job. Maybe this is normal for this type of work but I don't think it should be.

Wow we are so glad we found Paul!!! He is as great as everyone says he is. We needed to install a microwave that's attached to a vent (or microhood some people say). From the very first call till now Paul has always been so responsive and great to work with. We were assured that he knew exactly what he was doing based on the way he addressed the concerns we initially brought up with him regarding our kitchen setup. The next open slot for service appointment was 2 weeks out and this was absolutely worth the wait.

We had called some other companies before talking to Paul, but Paul was the most knowledgeable and pleasant one we found. He kept us posted on what time he was going to come, and kept clear communication and shared the expected invoice ahead of time.

They really are experts at this! We had tried removing the old microwave ourselves and it was definitely stuck. Paul and team also encountered the issue but quickly figured out how to remove the old microwave. Then they installed the new microwave and attached it to our vent - did not take long.

They hauled away the old microwave for a fair price (agreed upon earlier), and cleaned up the area before finally getting to payment. We were so pleased.

10 star. We replaced an 18-year-old, built-in, paneled refrigerator in a very tight space and want to give a shout out to Paul and his co-worker. Found them here on Yelp with so many excellent reviews and are so relieved we picked them over other recommendations. I can't imagine anyone handing all the communication and installation details so well. There were so many opportunities for things to go wrong or damages to happen, and they really are pros, as well as nice guys.
