Quoted me a 700 to 800 job to replace a leaking faucet in our tub. Got a bill for almost 1100. Didn't show up the first day rescheduled after I had to call them to find out where they were. They couldn't show up til 4 days later. Changed What he originally said he was gonna do to complete the job by going through my wall a different way so i wouldn't see or have a hole.. Then Left a hole in my wall above my shower head that I had to patch on my dime. Broke tile that is dated and can't be replaced. Then didn't secure the shower head and had to come back the next day and repair it.Put in a faucet that we didn't even get to pick.Left dirty muddy foot prints on my floor and greasy hand prints on my walls down the hallway. Called and spoke to the receptionist told me that the plumber would call me directly to explain my bill because she wasn't sure.Waited 4 days. Plumber called me and basically said welp jobs go over and he couldn't tell me the pricing because he doesn't handle it either? The parts prices I was charged for I went to homedepot and found them 4 times cheaper than what I was gouged for. The prices we found at the store were for packs of parts so he was basically restocking his truck with our bill.

If you decide to go through this business make sure Duane isn't doing your work he overcharges and he doesn't even do the job right couldn't even get my heater to turn on the next day and they charged me $1300 to tune my heater up and put one new stack on my house And when I told them my heater didn't work they told me that they weren't coming back out to fix it they were done with me I will never go through this business again.Voughts Is much cheaper and they know what they're doing.

On 10/10/19 three guys came from Barlow Air Force One to tune up my furnace and Ensure everything was functional and ready to go for the winter and even checked the thermostat settings. My furnace is in the basement so I held the door up while the three guys went down to the basement to do what they had to do. I asked that they take with them the new filter that I had purchased for the furnace to make sure that it is the right size. They assured me that it is the correct size but the other one was still clean and I did not need the new air filter at the time. Within minutes all three guys came back up from my basement told me everything looked good and clean and that I was good to go. After telling me that it is a 20 year old furnace I asked if it will get me through this winter. Two out of three of them not of their head and said yes it will get you through this winter no problem. On Friday October 18th my furnace stopped working. I don't know what they did or didn't do or if my furnace just wasn't going to make it. However when I contacted Air Force One and spoke with Mark Barlow the supervisor he informed me that he is not responsible for his men telling me that my furnace will get me through the winter. I told him all I needed was a tune-up and to make sure the thermostat was in working order. I informed him that his guys were here for mere minutes and reassured me that my furnace would get me through this winter. But he is not taking responsibility for that. No apology was provided. No discount was offered. Nothing. He just told me he would have a talk with the boys. That does not help me. I am a single woman on disability living alone and cannot afford a new furnace. I especially really don't appreciate being told that my furnace will get me through the winter and then a week later it dies only for the company note to take responsibility for what they have told me or reach out and try to help in any way.
Why is it that my furnace was working just fine before they came over? Why won't they offer any form of help or even an apology? I don't recommend Barlow Air Force One. They are quick dirty and not compassionate at all. I'm not even sure if they're licensed.
Go with someone who is licensed and compassionate. Make sure you are in good hands and if you have to talk to a few different heating and air technicians and interview them so that you don't wind up in the same position as me.

The technician, Randy, and his ""apprentice"" came to fix air conditioner. Cost of labor was $140 /hour and they charged me for 1.5 hours labor despite spending lessint than 45 mins on the job. Charged extra $200 to clean the unit and said it was fixed. They didn't fix anything and then when I called them to come back and compete the job they told me the entire AC and furnace needed to be replaced. A total of $8000. A competitor came and fixed it with no needed parts, only expertise. The unit is working great again, a savings of $8000. Highly recommend anyone else.

I was ripped off also I had a bad outlet they came and ran a cord from my tv to my washroom plug 800.00 it was my cord!

Not professional at all. We had two bids to replace our kitchen light fixtures. This bid came in slightly under the other so we chose Barlow's to do the work. The bill came and it was $500 over what they quoted. Because hanging these lights is a two person job they said. They never mentioned that when they gave the bid. THEY chose to send two employees ( an electrician and an apprentice) to do the job. I'm all about safety and it probably is safer for two guys to hang them but they could have said that when they gave us the bid! They were here for slightly over 2 hours. They billed us $140 an hour for 4 hours. They hung one fixture crooked but I'm usually not a complainer so I just bit my tongue and said I'd live with it. Then this fixture just decided to fall out of the ceiling after someone upstairs shut a door. (This is only 5 weeks later). They were totally rude to my husband when he called with questions about the bill and basically told us they didn't need our business and not to call anymore. Wayne just said they have been in business for over 30 years and what they charged isn't unreasonable and that was that. No regards to customer service. Well if that's how it is we don't want to use your service any more. Thanks but no thanks!

I had a water heater that was leaking and making a mess everywhere! I called Aire Force One and they were able to come out the same day. Not only did they install a new water heater, they cleaned up after themselves. From the receptionist, to the crew that came to do the install, they were kind and very professional.
I will only be calling Aire Force One in the future for any repairs I need done!

Ok I really wish I would have read the reviews on google before having a electrician come out to my house. My house is relatively new, nothing to serious going on electrically. I called had a electrician come out to my house. I told him my bedrooms breaker will pop if I turn the outside light on. My kitchen light flickers constantly. Well he did something to the box said he rerouted something. He also said he checked the switches in all the bedrooms. Well all my light switches are now down for on up for off, annoying, my bedroom still goes out, and my kitchen light still flickers. Bill comes, I pay it. I call them and ask if they could come back out nothings different. He came back again did something,he said, and now I still have all the same problems plus my 3 year olds bedroom light shorts out. New bill comes. I called spoke with the receptionist, very nice lady, explained to her nothing's fixed please send someone back and she got rid of the knew balance. Well the electrician called, left a really rude message about he doesn't know what could possibly need fixed now... we'll light switches are reversed still, my son has no light, and the two main electrical issues are not fixed!! I called the receptionist she connected me with a different guy that said he would call me the up coming Monday, and he would come out himself. It's been two weeks. No phone and they have honestly stopped answering me. It's horrible service. Im glad I have nothing major I needed fixed, couldn't fix a flickering light or a breaker.

I never would have thought I would ever have to write a negative review for a local business. My husband and I worked diligently to come to some sort of agreement with this company, unfortunately they do not value their customers or take responsibility for their mistakes.
To begin, I called Aire Force One to request a quote on how much it would cost to have my air ducts cleaned because my master bedroom was much cooler than the rest of my home. The owner, Wayne, led me to believe they provided this service and let me know it would be $80 to have my furnace serviced and ducts cleaned. A few days later, the technician came out to our home and informed my husband that they do not clean ducts and instead changed the settings on our furnace blower to force more air out, in hopes it would better heat our master bedroom. He also serviced our furnace and noted it was in great working order. We gave it a few days but noticed our once quiet furnace was now very very loud and it did not resolve our issue with the master bedroom. I was irritated that they didn't clean the ducts as promised, but just wanted my furnace to be quiet again.
We called Aire Force One and asked them to come out and change the settings back to where they were. The owner told us he would send a technician out next time he had one in my neighborhood.
Nearly 2 weeks passed and we didn't hear anything. We woke up the other morning and our house was freezing cold and our furnace was making an obnoxious noise and creating a bad smell. We called Aire Force One immediately as they had not only serviced our furnace and ensured us it was in great working order, but they had also been the reason our motor was turned up so high. They said they would ""try"" to make it out the same day. I told them it was unacceptable to try and that they needed to come out as soon as possible as I am expecting a baby in the next month and don't need my pipes freezing.
Immediately we learned they were not going to accept any sort of responsibility. I guess it's just a ""coincidence"" that they turned our motor up full blast, ignored our concerns when we called about it being very loud, and now the motor is broken.
They refuse to work with us on the bill, even though it was clearly their fault. On top of that, while replacing our blown motor, they tried to take our old part 3 times. My husband had to remind the technicians several times that we intended on keeping the broken part, yet they kept trying to take it with them.
I am incredibly displeased with this company and would NOT recommend them to ANYONE. I wish I had contacted another company to come up when they refused to come fix their mistake.
