Very professional crew came to give me a quote for a whole house repipe. Upon arrival, both techs were courteous and placed shoe covers on before taking a step into our home. I received a text prior to their arrival which allowed me to know exactly when to expect them. I can't say enough on the outstanding professionalism both technicians had.
Although, the quote was high in comparison to other plumbing companies. It's probably true you get what you pay for. I'm sure this company is worth it.

Can't express enough, Service was excellent! From when I requested an online line appointment. Received a call 30 min later, made an appointment for the same day. Was alerted with a text when the tech was on his way with an app that showed his real time location. This allowed me to get some lunch, and meet them at the house right on time!.
I was buying a house in Anaheim hills, during escrow I was alerted that there might be a main line problem. Just a week before closing I panicked and headed to the internet looking for a plumber I contacted 5 different plumbers before I found Barker. They were the only ones who understood my urgency! As a business owner, to make it in this competitive market you need to stand out, Customer service makes Barker Stand out, along with a cool app.
Thanks Again

Called them for two jobs at my rental, the service started great. I had a knocking pipe in a Master Bath and a small toilet seal leak in a second bath. They take calls promptly, showed up on time, the first red flag was the $49.00 ""trip fee"". As a landlord with several properties I'm always leery of this practice, but I was pressed for time so went forward, they assure you it will be applied to the repairs anyway so no harm right?
The guy shows at the house, for the knocking in the wall at the Master shower he's talking about opening the wall up so I tell him hold off because this is a repair I not only can do myself, but know that 99% of the time it's a simple cartridge change in the handle, so I ask about the toilet tank seal. He first quotes me a new toilet for $780 (Say what?) and then says he can change the seals for ""only"" $360.
I told him to leave and enjoy the $49.00 he just scammed me out of, probably cursed him out as well.
I just think of the customers that don't know home repair like I do that say ""OK"" and spend $360 on a kit that costs $30 at Home Depot and takes me about 15 minutes to do. I used to do all this myself but with a full time job, 5 properties, kids and so on I often send plumbers and other specialists as needed because I just don't have the time, but this was a scam of the first order. Another plumber that charges no ""trip fee"" went there the following week, changed the cartridge in the master bath, secured the pipe through the hole while he had the cartridge out and put new seals in the toilet. He was there about 20 or 30 minutes and it was under $200 including parts.
Avoid Barker and Sons at all costs. They do a good job at creating the illusion of good service, they text when they arrive, the guys they send look clean and seem smart, but then they use that trust they have built and your lack of plumbing knowledge to charge you triple or in the case of my toilet seal about 5 times what the job would cost anywhere else, and if you don't know plumbing, or don't have basic knowledge of what a job should cost they take advantage. If you do know better they got a quick $49.00. For what it's worth I spoke with Mark Barker and he did refund the deposit, but what a hassle. If 50% of their customers say ""yes"" to their drastically over-priced rates they are still making double what another plumbing service makes. Don't be a sucker. If someone says ""trip fee"", hang up and call another guy and always get 2 estimates.

I've had terrible service from this company. I had two toilets leaking form tank to bowl. They came on Sunday as I work 6 days a week. They priced everything from replacing toilets, to resetting them; all unnecessary. i told them i just wanted them fixed. OK he said, $335 dollars later, one leaked within hours. they sent second repairman, still above his capability, again leaked within hours. I asked for plan or refund a week ago and no response. Time to call a real plumber and credit card to dispute charge.

Kevin came with his helper on time and gave estimate on faucet drain blockage.
Used metal snake to ublock it and explained what it does. It only makes a small hole on the blockage.
While he was snaking one of two faucets, he accidentally broke the u-shape plastic pipe of the other faucet by misrouting the snake to the other side. I would not knew it until his helper told. We were going to pay the part to replace.
So I appreciated their honesty. One thing that makes me worry after seeing the broken pipe by snaking, could the drainage pipe be damaged with the snaking and we may not know it? I wish I asked that questions when they were here.

My experience summarized in 1 word was horrible. They were the only one that said they would charge to give an estimate. I set up the appointment and was given a 2 hour window of time. When he didn't arrive by the latest time I called them. I was informed that the tech was running late and it would be another 30 minutes. Why did I have to call them? I would have thought they could call me to let me know. 45 minutes later your tech and his assistant showed up. The tech had total attitude from the second he got to my house. He then told me all of the services I'd have to get that your company didn't provide. This would have added thousands to your quote. Your estimate came in at over $7,800. We received 4 additional quotes. The range was $2,560 to $2,970. Lastly, this told me they really didn't want my business. I felt like I wasted 3+ hours on a Saturday. If I could give you less than 1 star I would.

These guys charged my tennant $300 for 45mins work for running a snake down the main to unclog it.
I have had that property for 15 years and probably had to do this 3-4 times over the years. It never cost me more than $150 TOPS.
They had great service and came fairly quickly, but for this kind of money....I could have flown somebody from San Jose and still saved money.
RIDICULOUS PRICES
UPDATE: After I posted this 2 hours ago I went on the local Facebook group and asked the question: is $300 reasonable for snaking a main pipe for less than an hour? The consensus is that this rate is about double of what everybody that has responded so far (~60 people) has paid.
So based on my past experience and on the experience of about 60 or so locals, this company charges OUTRAGEOUS rates...at least for running a snake down the drain.
Neither me, my tenants or the good people on the Facebook page that have seen my post will ever use this company again.

Very disappointed at service and warranty.
We paid thousands of dollars for service, warranty, and membership fee. But when problem arises, we can't get a hold of Mike, manager. Warranty is no use. Very upsetting and disappointed.
Not recommended.

An excellent plumbing contractor. We will for sure use again in the future. Our main broke at the meter, Van showed up for Barker and Sons. Van was very helpful, knowledgeable, and just a great person to deal with at a stressful time. Thanks Van and everyone at Barker and Sons

Frank was very respectful and kind. He made sure to wear shoe covers before he entered and was very knowledgable. Awesome and trustworthy company.
