My home has it's plumbing (natural gas, sewer, water) through a slab foundation. I had a natural gas slab leak. I contacted Barker & Sons and they sent Frank to provide me with an estimate for the work. The estimate was competitive and they were able to schedule me for next day service using Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) rather than traditional black pipe. The work was performed diligently, professionally, and up to code. Frank and his team (Matt and Thomas) finished the work in half a day.

I had a problem with one of my gas appliances and Isaac & Matt came by to inspect it. They were very methodical and thorough.

I appreciated that everyone wore masks and respected social distance on each visit.

Richard Infante repaired a leaking shower cartridge for us. After being told by another plumber we would need to demo the wall to repair cartridge we called Barker and Sons Plumbing. Richard was professional, thorough, neat and followed all COVID-19 protocols while completing the job. We would recommend Richard Infante and Barker and Sons. We are very satisfied customers.

When our pipes burst. At 6pm in the winter evening. I called Baker and sons. Jonathan came in less than 15 minutes to the rescue and patched the leak and came back with his team Isaac to fix the entire main line in less than one day. They were courteous and professional.
They even reccommended installing a salt conditioner which I am so glad we could afford it all. This system was incredible as it cleared out the crusted deposits in the pipes immediately after installation! Never seen such a drastic change. It really works to clear out rusty soft copper and the we replaced the copper with Apex where we were leaking. Until we have the rest of the house repaired with this Apex piping we will definitely call Jonathan back for all our plumbing needs. They are very professionally organized and to be trusted. Isaac and one other assisted were beyond great. Please know you will be glad you called Baker and sons plumbing.

I was nervous when calling anywhere online, not knowing if places were reputable. My google inquiry was responded to quickly and professionally. On my scheduled day of appointment, Jonathan called me and gave updates about how far out he was so that I didn't have to sit around all day. He resolved my drain clogs quickly and affordability. This was all a lot easier than expected.

Had Frank and Issac from Barker and Sons come out to my house for a leak. What we thought was going to be a big problem they found the source to a drain issue fairly quickly. Efficient, courteous and overall good company. Honest too in pricing which is so important since you never know what you get out there. The team members answering the phone and giving me status updates were great too. At least 3 of them from the front office helped me out. Look no further.

You can tell this business has been in operation for quite some time and they know how to efficiently get things done. Our drains have been emitting a musty smell for a while. When I called the office, the person answering knew exactly what the issue was and arranged to have someone come out to investigate.

Jonathan, the technician who came, was right in line with what had been described as the issue and was very professional in his approach to solving the issue.

As of now, the musty smell seems to have subsided. A great job by a great firm and gave us a nice guarantee on the work.

If you enjoy a circus, and want to have clowns come to your house and put on a show, then call these people.
Just be forewarned that they charge more than double what real plumbers charge, and will try and sell you crap you absolutely don't need.
And lie straight to your face about it.
They assume that you are totally clueless, after putting on a fake-friend act that would make a used car salesman blush.
I had never heard of these clowns before, but one of the tenants of one of my houses scheduled them, and I wasn't feeling well enough to go there myself, like I usually do.
I've been taking care of all plumbing etc. needs for several houses I rent out, for 30 years, and this was nothing special.
Just a slow toilet.
MUCH to my suprise, these scammers wanted a credit card card up front before even arriving. Obviously because they have had much experience with customers refusing to pay their scam prices. If I was feeling better, that would have been the end of it. NEVER, EVER give out your credit card info to these or any other service clowns. Just hang up and call an honest place, and use more common sense than I did.
I repeat, HANG UP ON THESE CLOWNS, or any other garbage fake scammers that try to steal your credit card information over the phone.
So anyway the first guy that showed up had no idea what he was doing, and tried to sell me a new toilet, even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with mine, and it had nothing whatsoever to do with the problem. Nothing.
I'm honestly not sure If the guy is a thief, or just incompetent, but since he wanted to sell me a cheap, $100 retail toilet for $565, I'm just glad I knew better than to believe the guy.
I ended up having to explain to him what was wrong, over the phone, and he fixed it. But not before having another, more senior clown come bail him out.
So anyway, I ended up getting the job done for them, and paid three times what it was worth.
Notice there are a fair amount of reviews like this, the real ones. You have been warned.

Go elsewhere, I learned after the fact that the price was 40% higher than others

The upfront sales people and the plumbers were very friendly and because of the high ratings I trusted that the $5,000+ price that they quoted was competitive. I had already committed $72 for the analysis and quote, my floor was flooded due to the leak, they seemed friendly and professional, so when the sales person said ""it is your choice"", I made the mistake of trusting him that the $5,000+ price was fair.

The plumbers that showed up later to do the work were both friendly and they rerouted 2 copper pipes to a different location using about 15 feet of PEX, a 1/2"" red (hot) and a 3/4"" blue (cold) line. The sales person gave me to the option of saving money by doing the drywall separately which I agreed to do (feeling the need to save money after spending over $5,000, so they left my house with the 6 holes in my walls.

The price seemed high to me for what was actually accomplished so after the fact I called American Leak Detection (another plumber) and got worst case quotations for the job (they quoted $1400 to $2400 worst case sight unseen). My State Farm insurance assessor arrived the next day and informed me that insurance never covers the plumbing costs, only the damages (if you didn't know that, then this review was worth your time spent reading it.) He said that although State Farm was not paying for the plumbing, he felt compelled to tell me that $5000 for the work that he was looking at should have costed from $1500 to $3000 max and he asked that I don't put his name in print.
I informed the nice up front sales lady, Missy, from Barker and Sons about my concerns and she said that her boss, Gary, would contact me. After a few days, I reminded her and she said her boss, Gary, was busy but would contact me. Well, it's been a week and no response so I feel compelled to be truthful about my opinion and write this review.

Go elsewhere, even if they are friendly and the results seem good, 40% overcharging is bad business. If you get good plumbing service, the interactions are friendly and seem professional, but the price quoted is unreasonably high, the business is not acting fairly no matter how friendly the interactions are.

Dad had to go into assisted living. To offset the cost, we planned to rent out the house. I came from out of state to deal with it. Sink clogged. I tried to snake it out to no avail after removing the P trap. I call Barker's, and after being delayed 2 days, Jonathan comes out. He scopes it and says there is a break, he finds where it is, charges me for the first day, vaguely puts the P trap back on and says it's not his fault if it leaks (I mean, he's only a plumber, after all). He says the broken pipe is 3 feet down, has to use a digging tool, etc. Leaves for ""lunch and parts"". Charges over $5000 to replace the pipe and put in a cleanout. Says the pipe to the sewer is also corroded and should be replaced, quotes $23,000. WHAT???? Still would not put the P trap back properly. My brother, who is in charge of the financing, call them to complain mightily. Jonathan told him he jetted it out, and was gone for an hour for lunch. He did NOT jet it, and was gone over 2 hours. And the ""three feet down"" was half that, and sandy soil. He also told my brother to put the P trap back would be another $800. Just. To. Put. It. On. Properly. This is where it would reluctantly be a one star review. Barker's sent out two different teams, actually jetted it out, replaced everything under the sink, filled in the 18 inch deep hole, scoped it and found nothing really wrong with the rest of the pipe. They just basically have a bad player in Jonathan, only 3 stars due to the extended amount of time it took to resolve the issues, but kudos to the people at the office who made sure it got put right.
