I highly recommend this company. I am very impressed with the service I received from Barcena Plumbing. Being new to Simi Valley, I had rely on Yelp! I had water leaking from the kitchen ceiling last Sunday. I called their 24 hour number and spoke to someone within 5 minutes. Since it was a Sunday, Darryl couldn't do anything but helped me shut off the main water line. I called the next day and they sent someone within 2 hours. Steve and his assistant was very professional. Looked into the problem and fixed my leaking pipe within an hour. Being a woman, and have no knowledge of these things, I was afraid that I could get taken advantage of. It was at minimal cost to me.

I just had Steve come over to change my garbage disposal and repair my kitchen sink. Steve was professional, answered any questions I had and obviously knew his business. I have used Barcena Plumbing for several jobs, small and large, and they have always done a great job! We have had them do planned jobs like plumbing in shower replacements and replacing toilets. We have called them for emergency drain clearing. That was what I needed today (a Sunday), and I almost did not call the because they are closed on weekends. But I gave it a shot and reached an actual answering service with a live person! She took my information and passed it on to the person on call (Daryl - great guy). He called back within 15 minutes and was at my house in less than an hour. He ran the snake down the lateral from the outside cleanout and had the clog out in 15 minutes. He was on his way back to his family and I was able to get back to my plans for the day.

I always try to use local businesses rather than big chain operations. Here is a great example why. The other ""rooter"" chain companies I called in my morning panic finally called back AFTER Barcena Plumbing had finished the job! I cannot recommend them highly enough.
