Around 1030 pm , after my wife took a shower we noticed a steady stream of water coming from the shower head and it wouldn't stop even with the handle on the off position. Thinking it was just a faulty cartridge I turned the water off at the street and proceeded to dismantle. The cartridge was broken but I was unable to shut it off or remove the cartridge. As a result I needed to turn the water off at the main . Realizing this was more than I could handle I called Barcena after some google searching and reviews. This was around 1130 pm on a Fri. The answering service took my info and within 10 min Steve called from Barcena. I explained the situation and told him it could wait till the morning as we have the water shut off anyways. Steve called me in the morning and gave me a quote over the phone, minor fee for weekend/emergency which was very reasonable. Steve replaced the cartridge but problem still there. The next step was possibly entire shower valve needs to be replaced, obviously a much much bigger job which would require tile/dry wall being torn out. Barcena went through several other troubleshooting tips just be extra sure and tried a different cartridge which ended up being the answer. Barcena has 100 % earned my trust and business as they could have easily made this a bigger and much more costly job, but they did not. No extra charge for the other cartridge btw and they charged per the job, not hourly. Very reasonable price and fantastic service.

From the moment they arrived, I was impressed. When a man slides on those super sexy red paper shoe covers over his work boots to keep my house clean, I'm a happy girl, what can I say? ;-) Really appreciated the way they kept the job clean while unclogging my kitchen sink. It's rare that I'm not required to do something to get my house back in order after a service call of some kind. Nice that I had nothing to clean up and they fixed my clog too! I feel the price was fair for the time and effort they spent. I had a bad experience years back with Dutton, they were extremely overpriced. Barcena is now my plumber of choice. Already referred them to a friend as well. Nice job Barcena!

Efficient, fast and awesome. I called this morning and they were able to fit me in within 30 minutes because a job was canceled. He came out, assessed the needs for repair and had everything completed fast and working great. We will use them again!

We've had Pablo at Barcena Plumbing out, at our new house on a few occasions. Repiped / rerouted our shower pipes for remodeling our shower, snaked our main line a couple of times, and extended our side yard clean out. We've met with 3 of their guys. They've all done an amazing job, dealt very well with me, the nosy home owner (while they were trying to work) , very kind, clean, professional and have always done an amazing job!! I would recommend them highly to any of my family or friends!

Excellent service- The way it used to be when people took pride in there work. Steve arrived as scheduled with the tools needed to replace my main water valve. He adjusted the correct pressure setting that another plumber set incorrectly. He also installed a faucet in the bathroom quickly and cleared the filters in 2 other faucets, All at a very reasonable PRICE. You cant go wrong calling them.

So I just found our new plumber!!!
Our toilet clogged like I have never seen in my life - overflowing, cannot plunge - thanks to my ""growing"" young man in the house. Found Barcena Plumbing on Yelp. I wanted to keep it local since it was going to be an after hours thing, but also someone with good ratings. SPOT ON on both areas. Pablo got here as soon as he could, fixed the problem, made VERY sure it was fully fixed (not just one flush, it is OK now...) and while he was here, tightened up a leaky spigot we had at no additional charge.
So happy to say, next time someone asks ""Do you know a good plumber?"" I can answer ""Yes, yes I do!""

My dad referred me to Barcena Plumbing, which I was so very grateful! I had multiple plumbing issues that needed to be dealt with along with a limited budget, so what a relief it was meet Steve. He had a great attitude and you could tell he was passionate about his job. Steve went above and beyond to ensure that everything was repaired. He assisted me in pricing some parts because he knew I had a budget. I also appreciated his respect of my home and ensured that he wore shoe covers and thoroughly cleaned up after himself even when I told him not to worry about it :).
