Will is great. He's extremely personable, and talks you through the problem in order to ensure that you understand the cause of the problem. If something comes up, and he's not able to make it, he will call and let you know well ahead of time.

They didn't disappoint.

My wife had to handle the visit since I was at work. She HATES to deal with contractors as they typically try to rip her off (she is quite timid).

Bamford came through with exactly the service (well, actually more than expected) for less than I had budgeted for the repairs.

So hats off to these honest plumbers (two words that aren't often in the same sentence at the same time).

For somebody like myself who knows nothing about plumbing, going with Bamford was the best decision I could have made (I've had some bad experiences with other plumbers). Doug was able to come out quickly even during the holidays and took the time to explain what was what and even went out of his way to give me some general plumbing advice unrelated to my problem. Was very honest and transparent about what he was doing and explained several different approaches to the problem. When he came out for the big job, he stayed well into the night to get the job done because we really needed it fixed in a hurry. Price was very fair and he did a great job. Everybody needs a good plumber they can trust - Doug's the guy. We'll never consider using any other plumber.

Met Doug a few weeks ago. Leaky faucet and toilet flapper. Other companies told me both were not repairable and needed new fixtures. Bought new parts and when Doug came in he let me know parts were available and could be rebuilt. I opted to switch out faucet and repair flapper. Doug gives top-notch, absolutely amazing service. I called him about a clogged drain late in the evening, and he was THERE AT 11 PM THAT NIGHT! Truly, I was blown away and really impressed. His customer service is perfect, his pricing is very fair, and he is about the most honest guy you'll ever talk to. He really cares about what he does, and it shows. Afterwards, he tells you all about what he did and makes suggestions to avoid future problems. I cannot recommend him highly enough, he's really fantastic.

Doug is great. First you make the call... over the phone you tell him the problem. He gives you a quick overview of what he believes is the problem and a rough estimate. You schedule a time. He is quick, responsive and on time. On the job he is professional and explains everything in great detail (even when it's clear some of us know absolutely nothing about plumbing). He does the work which exceeds expectations and then you get the bill and it is significantly less than his rough estimate because he was able to fix the problem without any difficulties. I have used him twice now and referred him numerous times. I'm glad he's young-ish because he will be our plumber for a very long time.

Our issue was a very leaky bathtub faucet. He was able to replace the ball joint easily (had the parts on hand) and resolve the issue. While here he also took a look at a toilet that took a long time to refill it's tank after flushing. He cleaned our line of sand residue and now it works perfectly.
