I'm giving them one star because they showed up to the job site. I called one morning to set up an appointment for the next day. Had a plumber arrive when I told him what the issue was, he jumped to conclusions and said this is going to end up costing you lots of money. That was a big turn off. The guy hadn't even taking a knee to take a look to see what the situation was. In short he never did even put his gloves on. He said I'm probably not the guy that specializes in this will get you another guy tomorrow

We have used them several times. The last 2 times were not representative of past experiences. They came and cleared the roots in a pipe less than 2 months ago. It failed. We have been doing this every 9 months to a year for over 10 years to maintain (Ballard charged twice as much as others but we liked them). Normally my Uncle helps me with this stuff. Today I was here to deal with them on my own. The on-site tech thought I was an idiot or at least talked down to me like I was. Swore he couldn't clear the roots from my pipe because it was ruining his equipment and apparently no one in the world clears roots with a snake, no they just replace their pipes (even though he himself cleared them less than 2 months ago for us). Also, never told us we needed to do anything further until today. After being talked down to and being told it's not his fault I don't want to repair my pipes versus clearing the roots, listening to him make false claims and talking bad about my uncle, I realized I was dealing with someone without any customer service skills and I just needed them to leave so I could get a professional out here. Thanked him for trying and called another plumber. Here we are thanks to the other plumber, pipe is cleared within 20 minutes of their arrival. No problems at all, no damage to their equipment. So sad, we used to really trust them, just can't anymore.

On Sept 7 a tech from Ballards air Conditioning came out to service our AC. The tech stated the costs, but he implied the freon would cost $225 for 3 or 4 lbs. He put in 2 lbs and the AC was blowing cool, he then added 2 more lbs. and he stated we may have a leak. When he showed us the bill it was over $800.00, he then explained the freon was $225 a lb. I feel he mislead us in the beginning and then he cheated us. The internet implied the cost of freon would be no more than $100 a lb. We have been doing business with Ballards for over 35 years. If I had realized the actual cost of the freon I would have stopped after 2 lbs, the AC was blowing cold. I talked to someone in the office and he lower the bill to $600.00, I feel we should get an additional credit for at least $200.00. Your tech Danny cheated us. Very disappointing after do business with Ballards all these years.

We starting having trouble with our air condition not being cold and it also became very noisy. I called to have it looked at and had a technician here the next day. Art Arrieta was great and very knowledgeable. He explained the problems. We requested a quote and ended up buying new. Installation was the next day! Thomas and Saul are an impressive team. They were here at approximately 10am and finished the entire installation around 3:15. Extremely thorough and cleaned up very well. In addition we walked around to all the components and Thomas took us through them. We are very happy with the product and service!

Came after 20 minutes of calling. Fixed my leaking kitchen sink in 30 minutes. Honest on the works they have done, reasonable pricing. Will use them again.

Called Ballard yesterday morning and they sent Joshua over within an hour. I appreciated Joshua's thoroughness and he even shared pictures of his work along the way. He is very polite and knowledgeable of AC systems, and completed his work very quickly. I would recommend him for future services!

Ballard worked an air conditioning service for me today, angel was the technician today very professional and clean and groomed found the issue for me quickly replaced a thermostat installed it and works great. thanks Ballard I do recommend there service to all ,also thanks to angel .

Joshua came this morning to conduct a seasonal air conditioning check. . He went above and beyond as he made some necessary adjustments to insure that the unit was running smoothly and quietly. Excellent service provided by Ballards this morning. Technician Joshua was friendly, professional and thorough...woukd like to give him 6 's if I could! Thank you!

Our AC randomly stopped cooling the house, we tried a couple tricks to fix it to no avail. Our landlord called Ballard, they sent Joshua out the next day, and he did a great job. Found the issue in a few minutes, replaced the part under warranty, then he cleaned the unit, and gave us a less restrictive filter. He was in and out in less than an hour. Certainly a great experience!

beware senior citizens they quote me a price & i ask them more than once & the said yes that is the charge no more than that , well after waiting for a while a young plumber came & he quote me a different price than the price that i was quote through the phone without even looking at the job well even to my best common sense i told him i need this job to be done so i gave him the right of way to do the job so he went to the co. van mean while i call the office & i told them that i was told one price for the job but that he wants to charge me more but the best part is that the young plumber hear me complain to his office , & without telling me or giving me a courtesy of why he decide to start the van & just leave me with my plumber problem , it's very wrong to try to take advantage of a senior citizen as myself to be so rude & try to charge me more that what i was quote through the office , i'm very upset , i strongly will not ever recommended to my friends , sincerely fred
