I am currently experiencing a slab leak for the second time this year. I know I need to re-pipe my home and time is of the essence. This being said I had several plumbing companies scheduled to come by today to provide bids and at the end of the day I was going to make a decision.

Ballard was one the companies scheduled. They arrived at the same time another company was on site and I asked Ballard to wait 10-15 minutes. I could tell by the techs look he wasn't going to wait and sure enough a few minutes later I see the Ballard truck leave.

The fact Ballard wasn't even willing to provide the professional courtesy to wait a few minutes while a competitor completed their scope tells me how my re-pipe experience would go should I use Ballard.

Ballard made my decision simple and easy! I will NOT be using Ballard and neither should you!

I've used Ballard several times. I called to schedule an appointment to get a check up on my ac make sure everything is ok. The same guy who came before literary took about 3 mins checking and switching my filter. He charged me 79 dollars for that. He dont explain anything has no kind of people skills. Everytime he comes over its same thing. I think its time for me to call another company. Home depot charged me less to do an inspection and he was here way longer. Explain in detail what he checked.

Every time I've called Ballard Plumbing, someone has come within the hour. I really appreciate the customer service. My service provider was Landon and he came and fixed the leaking pipe on my air conditioner unit. He even completed a tune up while he was here when I asked if they provided that service. The price was reasonable and the service was fast. I highly recommend them. Thank you!

Cost me $700 to fix my AC unit & I didn't get any description of what exactly was broken. Just replaced a filter & refilled my Freon (which he said was almost full anyways). How that justifies $700 is beyond me. At least explain why it's costing me so much. After I checked with other places, found out I was badly ripped off for something that was an easy & cheap fix.

A little over two weeks ago my AC was stopped working. It was an old system and was never meant to work sufficiently in my 2000 sq ft house. I am not one to take the heat,Yelp and went contacted Ballard Plumbing immediately. I am familiar with the company. I have to say first I was frightened about having to get a new system because I was quoted 13k last year by a Costco rep.

I received an immediate response on yelp the same day and then I called early the next morning, then Dennis was at my door at 8:15 like he said he would be. He was honest and so helpful. The quote was way under what I received. The best part was Dennis had his crew in just a few hours later that day. Dennis explained everything in detail and said how he will make sure my house is equally cool in every room.

I have four dogs and my house is undergoing many renovations. The crew showed up (I'm so sorry I forgot most of your names) and they even helped with my pups. They all went to work inside and out. They were thorough and accommodating. I do remember Landon because he graciously installed my NEST for me. Amazingly enough they were there from 11am to 3. I was shocked and totally EXCITED!

I am glad I waited awhile before I wrote my review because I want to exclaim my utter gratefulness to all of you from Ballard Plumbing because I sat in AC coolness last Friday when it was 118 outside. :)

I will be contacting you again very soon, to install a water heater the next thing on my Reno list.

I have had nothing but excellent service from this fine business. Yesterday was the first 90º day. To my surprise, the air blew, but wasn't cold. I went to Ballard, my go to HVAC company. Even though I called on a Sunday, they were able to service my unit today. Their service technician, who arrived right at the expected time, had me up and running in about 25 minutes. This is top notch service and the price is always competitive and fair. I love these guys!

No star review here please read **** my grandmother was getting a new water heater put in at her home. The men who put it in incorrectly did so flooding her home. When she complained wanting them fix the flooding (which got on her carpet, which can lead to mold) they told her to put down fans, and handed her check back to her for the water heater. After she still complained because the fans would not work because so much water damage Dennis the OWNER came to my grandmas house and told her ""not to file a claim"". Ballard wanted to cover up what they had done and took great advantage of my grandma mother and her age thinking she would not do anything. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

If you are in a hurry, want a quote or a professional experience, don't bother with this one.
I requested them to come give us a quote last week. Mike, the owner, promptly emailed me back asking for a phone number and told me his brother would call me first thing on Monday. Yay... One bonus point for promptness. But then... Ok. I wait. No call on Monday. Deduct said bonus point so back to zero. Tuesday... still no call. (Now at -1) So Tuesday evening I email again asking if they are interested. Now mind you, I am asking for a quote on all new ducting and relocation of current equipment with the possibility of getting all new equipment; only definitely need ducting rework. Finally, Mike emails me back... ""Hmm sorry about that he must be behind, I will make sure he does tonight."" (Now at a -2 as I am having to remind them and then one more point off for that not so professional reply...total of -3)

So I figure I will give them another shot since we all have our days. The brother calls me and asks what I need. I explain (again) what I am interested in having a quote on and he says ""Oh, well, ummmmmm, we are super behind so ummmmm, let me check to see when we could get out there. I need to check with Mike since he ""schedules"" (Uh, I thought Mike had to have his brother call me since he scheduled... the negative points are racking up)... I told this guy if they are too busy for the job then let me know as I am getting other quotes. He says ""Oh, you are? Ummm.. Hold on. Let me check with Mike. "" Puts me on hold. Comes back and hems and haws and says, ""I can't tell you when we will be able to come out so yea, maybe you should just go on to the next person for your quote. We are just soooo behind and I don't know why or what's going on.""

Wow! Really? Ok. So you don't want my business and the person who emailed me does the schedule and just didn't tell me this to begin with once they already knew what I was looking to have done. Not professional and would not recommend them as honest and straightforward. Only use them if you have a McMansion for a huge job or you have no time frame and want to just sit out and wait...but don't hold your breath on the latter. Good luck. I'll pass on this one.
