Hello, I am sure this company has excellent qualified workers however that was not my experience. We called this company to have our ac looked at, the guy that came out has come to the house on multiple occasions. After 20 minutes he came back and said we need a new $2500 unit. At the time we didn't want to spend the money but also knew that we needed a second opinion. We called my cousin who services AC units, after 3 minutes of looking at it he knew the problem was the fan (since it wasnt moving). We gave him a couple hundred and our ac is working like it is brand new.

Through the years we have spent about $1500 with this company regarding the same issue. My cousin said this should have been and is the most obvious fix considering it wasnt moving and that anyone who services ACs should have made this their first check again considering its obvious and the cheapest to fix on the checklist.

I am not sure of the employees name but do know he was hispanic, skinny and had curly hair. I myself am a minority as well as my wife, I do not intend this comment to be racial or have any negative effects, just unsure of his name.

If using this company please be sure to get a second opinion if something cost a lot to repair. We would have spent over $2,000 more than what we had to if we didnt seek additional help. Again I am sure there are knowledable and skillful employees who operate with the utmost integrity however that wasn't our experience and will not use this company again.

My a/c/heating unit burnt up, on Saturday, a few days before an expected cold snap.
Someone was actually in the office (imagine that! No one, in my old service company was ever in the office, on a weekend.), and told me the owner would be out, on Monday, for an estimate. The unit was put in, on Tuesday.
Very professional.
Excellent workers.

Appeared unproffessional. Assumed my repairs were through a management company so never told me of service fee. Day of appointment heard nothing, so I followed up only to be told that they no longer work with management companies. I was apologized to by Cindy and told that although they messed up I could not be billed for the service fee I was never advised of.

My air went out on a triple digit day in August! Called Ballards at 4:30pm and they were out the next day at 8 am. Determined the problem ( I knew my unit was hanging on by a thread and was quite old so no surprise that I needed a new unit). I was given options, chose one, and the work began an hour later! The crew was very professional and finished the job in 5 hours! They charged me slightly below the estimate (which never happens anymore).

We have used them for air conditioning and plumbing needs for about 15 years. They are awesome, efficient, and kind. Today, there was actually no problem apparent when we called them out and they didn't even charge us for the service call and recommended against doing anything unnecessary and to wait rather than doing work that wouldn't help and paying money that didn't need to be paid. I have always been impressed but was even more so by their honesty and integrity- they are a gem.

We've used Ballards for as long as I can remember. They're always prompt and take care of every issue we have. This old house has plumbing issues pretty much on the regular. Ballards takes care of us and our old pipes with professionalism and patience.

I've used Ballard Plumbing on multiple occasions, and they've always done great work for me. The latest job involved replacing my water heater on about 1/2 an hour's notice. I called at 7:30 in the morning, and their tech was out at 8:15am. Two hours later, they had replaced my old water heater, and installed a new one. Decent prices, good customer service. All around, Ballard does A-1 work.

I am a landlord for a condo and my renter called to inform me of a leak on the hot water heater. It was a burst line and was causing serious water damage. I called Ballard, the gentleman that answered the phone was very polite and told me he could have someone out within an hour, which they did. They called me when they got there and quickly repaired the broken hose and recommended I change the other hose as well for preventatitve maintenance which I elected to do. The service call charge seemed about normal for what I would expect, the service was PROMPT (it was an emergency) and the communication was great. I will absolutely use this company again for any AC/plumbing issues I have with my rental. They were also quick to mail me my invoice for my records and accepted credit card payment over the phone.

Ballard Plumbing & ACH has worked hard for me and earned my customer loyalty. They have provided excellent service from small & large plumbing jobs to a complete residential central AC replacement. They have always arrived timely, been very personable and professional, and extremely efficient in completing the work. Even more impressive is their work has always been done right the FIRST time. Today they fixed (my not-so-handiwork) in what started as a faucet replacement which turned into a local shut-off replacement and a whole house shut-off replacement. Someday I'll learn to call them first. They even answer all my (dumb) questions about the current work and what I would like to have done in the future. Thank you for your service!
