I did not have a good experience with Bakersfield plumbing. First, we asked our rental agency to send someone to fix a leak under the kitchen sink. They came out and said they needed to order a part. It took a month before they came back. Meanwhile the wood under the sink got all damp and damaged.
Second, we asked them to come repair a toilet that was running. They came once to ""fix"" it, but we had them come back because it was doing the same thing. The second time they put on a new handle and tank. Unfortunately it still kept running AND the handle wasn't screwed on properly AND he left the chain too long so the only way we could flush it was to hold the handle down or take the lid of the tank off. The last two problems led to the brand new handle breaking. They came out a 3rd time and replaced the handle and shortened the chain. Finally, it stopped running! Then, we get a bill from our rental agency saying that the plumber determined that the handle was broken by force and saying we had to pay the $100 bill. Ridiculous!

I will never do business with them again.

This is the first time using this company and I am so happy. They are just like everyone said they would be. Reasonable, polite, professional, and no surprises when they hand you the bill. Justin and Gunner are who came out today, and I was even surprised by that because usually when you call a plumber its just one guy. I live in a 1930's home and that didn't phase them because they are trained for such things. I guess I know who I will always be calling from now on. They know what they are doing and charge just right, and 110 years in business comes shining through with honesty and gold.

Another positive review for Bakersfield Plumbing. I tried to remove and replace a 15 year old Delta shower faucet cartridge, but the cartridge was stuck from calcium and broke apart when I tried to pull it out. Knew I should have waited until Monday so I wouldn't have to pay after hours charges if got so bad I couldn't fix it. Because it's the shower faucet, I had to turn off the water to the entire house, and it was broken to the point I couldn't turn the water back on. I called Bakersfield Plumbing based on our last positive experience with them. They arrived within the hour and had it back up and running also within an hour. Justin did a great job. Even though I paid more than I wanted to for the service call, it was on a Sunday and the rates were reasonable enough for after hours calls. Will continue to use them for things I can't do myself.

My sprinkler pipe broke and a very nice young man by the name of Gunner came out and fixed it for me. He was courteous and did an excellent job. He was neat and left everything cleaned up when he left. I commend this nice young man.

We just moved into a new house that we bought and of course half of the plumbing was plugged up. So the search was on to find the company do you work. As I searched I came across Bakersfield plumbing which had a large number of reviews and good ones. They have been in business for a long time so therefore must be doing something right.
I gave them a call and the technician was able to come out fairly quick and take a look at my problem. He decided it was best to come back The next day when he could really work on it. They had it taken care of within the hour and my problem was solved.

They charged my daughter $285 for a toilet flange repair. In October of 2015 they did the same job for me for $110. When I complained a supervisor told me my plumber made a mistake and I was lucky I only paid the $110. I question his veracity because the $110 price was quoted to me before the plumber arrived. Initially, I was happy with their service. Based on my latest encounter, I will not use or recommend them again.

I have used many plumbers in town not really liking one enough to use them again. You don't need to look any further. Bakersfield Plumbing does a great job. They always show up clean and are polite and informative. After fixing the problem they always give me easy plumbing tips, and their prices are very fair. Try them if you need a plumber

If you want a plumbing job done right and in a timely fashion, call Bakersfield Plumbing Company, Inc. Don't settle for imposters that look similar but don't provide the same quality customer care. There is only one Bakersfield Plumbing! I have used Bakersfield Plumbing for over 20 years now and they have always taken great care of me as a customer! I just had an emergency today and they were out here in just over an hour, fix the problem the first time, and kudos to Joe who is always fantastic! You all will always be my plumbing company!

If you have plumbing needs you will be wise to use Bakersfield Plumbing.
Our upstairs bathroom sinks were stopped up so we called them. They attempted to clean the drain by running a snake through it only to find that apparently the previous owners of our home had a similar problem and had used incompetent plumbers who broke their snakes off in the pipe and just left the pieces in the pipe to further clog it. Not just one plumber but obviously six as there were six broken snakes in the pipe.
It was necessary for Tyler from Bakersfield Plumbing to use a camera to see where the clog was and then use a sonar device to find where the broken snakes were. Now he needed to not only remove them but find the reason for the original clog. When Tyler used his sonar equipment he discovered the stoppage was under the slab floor of the house. It became necessary to cut through the stucco on the side of the house as well as the patio slab to expose the pipe and then chip away the concrete slab under the house to be able to remove it. Once he was finally able to remove the pipe he discovered the original reason for the clog was tree roots that had filled it because the original builder had not put a cap on a clean out pipe and then buried it in the ground.
To say the least, this was definitely a job for the professionals. Other plumbers I am sure would have never been able do this repair but also to do it with minimal damage to the house. Thank goodness for the professionalism of Bakersfield Plumbing. .
