Repair refrigerators came out did not give me any directions what we could do to remedy the problems. They did charge me$120.00 for nothing. Horrible experience.

customer service is terrible! The manager bruce , he doesn't want to hear what, you need to say! We had a problem with overflowing, bc of a bad switch, and I call him, and is answered is , is not there fault that the switch was bad! So the ac, still under warranty, but still charge us,$300 , so we got the drywall fixed costing us$ thousands of dollars, after a month the ac overflow again, and we call the company, 2 guys came , and is overflow again bc of another bad switch , so the drywall was ruined, so i call bruce, and see if they will pay for the damage , and is answer is , is not there fault ! Who the heck is fault is it ! I want the company to pay for the damage! Is answer is call your home owner insurance ! Bad customer service

Our Dryer wasn't drying so I contacted Badger Bobs to come out and repair it. After 3 trips with 3 different Techs in one week it still wasn't working. The first Tech told me the Vent needing cleaning, dryer still not drying. The second Tech cleaned the vent, dryer still not working. The third Tech said when they cleaned the Vent it was pushed back too far kinking the vent hose, dryer still not drying. I contacted another company and after extensive testing they found the problem on their first trip. They found the Timer was cutting off the heat at high temperature.

We hired Badger Bob's to replace our HVAC - take out the old one & install a new one. What a disaster! Day 1, July 10 - Two installers came to do the job. During their attempt to install the new unit, they shorted out the new a/c unit, and our two REME HALO 'blue light' units, and twice shorted out the lighting in our condo, and our TV. A third technician came by late in the day to help guide the first two installers. After 10 hours & 45 minutes, they all left. Our new a/c was blowing out warm air, no air conditioning. Day 2, July 11 - After calling Badger Bob's to tell them the new a/c did not work, a 4th worker came to troubleshoot. He determined that the HVAC unit was improperly installed, and that heat strips in the new unit were left on, and that the voltage in the a/c unit was fluctuating. He also determined that the wiring on the new air handler was installed with wiring that was too short and then spliced, uncapped, with multiple spliced pieces of wiring. The new thermostat that had been installed on Day 1, was replaced on Day 2 by the Badger Bob's troubleshooter. Badger Bob's Project Manager said they would be replacing the REME Halo blue lights that they had shorted out. For the next 2 weeks, the a/c did not seem to be working normally, as it would go on and off sporadically for very brief amounts of time. Day 16, July 25 - Another technician (the 5th one) came & installed the two REME blue lights that their earlier technicians blew out. As he was doing that, he found that the a/c unit was still wired incorrectly - that a relay and a transformer had been blown because of faulty installation. He rewired it, and we hope it is now done correctly. We are very surprised that Badger Bob's work was so poor since we have used them for years with no previous problems. It is very clear to us that the quality of their work has deteriorated.

I received a call, a few weeks ago, from one of my neighbors. They had a problem with the electrical in their mobile home. I went there to check out the problem and found only one leg of the power, from the meter to the home, to be good. Some place under ground a wire was broken. Last year in April they had the same problem and Badger Bob came out and spliced the wire under ground. I called up Badger Bob and arranged an appointment for a tech to assess the problem. I told Badger Bob's personnel that the people had a year warranty, parts and labor. I was told they only give a 90 day warranty. The tech came out and determined the same thing I did and stated it would cost $1600 to repair. Badger Bob then scheduled a tech to come out the week after with a tracker for under ground wiring breaks. The tech, supposedly, connected the tracker to the wires and stated there were possibly more than one break under ground and it would be about 3 weeks before they could service. The cost would be around $5800. My neighbor has no air conditioning and no working stove. Thankfully the first tech moved some wires around to provide refrigerator and microwave. I find it hard to believe that Badger Bob even tracked the wire because from what I had dug up the wires didn't even go in the direction you would have expected them to go. I have called their head electrican to talk but no response in two calls. I guess, when the company merged, they have no respect for their customers any more. I am writing this to tell the community to beware. Respectability does not seem to apply to this company any more. I will make sure to recommend other companies and relay this to everyone whom I talk.

I had a service contract with this company when I lived in Sarasota and I found the HVAC service to be top notch however the two plumbers that they sent out were unprofessional. One plumber installed and outside spigot and did not use current valves but rather the outdated valves that they're trying to get rid of. But it was the second plumber that they sent out when I had a whole house back up who was unpleasant rude nasty mean and did not finish the job nor did he or his managers return my phone calls to come out and finish the job. I felt like the second plumber was discriminatory and it's my honest belief that most of the employees here could use some customer service diversity training.

Our condo kitchen pipe was clogged below our unit and it caused all water from the floors above to flood our kitchen. Patrick from BB did heroic work fixing the issue - we had to talk with all the units above us and explain (and ask them NOT to use their kitchen for an hour), and then quickly work on fixing the issue with a """"snake"""" well below our floor. Quick work, good diagnosis and saved us from LOTS of damage. He's a serious operator - a real expert!!

I bought a home in Venice and the A/C unit had a Badger Bobs sticker on it. Hurricane Ian flooded my home and I called Bob's on Tuesday to come out and look at the unit. The phone was answered by a heavily (Indian?) accented woman. I explained that FEMA was coming out to inspect the damages and I needed my A/C unit inspected to see if it could be repaired or replaced. She replied that she did not know what FEMA was. I asked if she was kidding and she hung up on me. I called back on Thursday and a heavily accented male answered the phone. He said sure they could come out but wanted me to buy a $319.00 subscription for the service. I declined and hung up.

I've been using BADGER BOB'S for my air conditioning in every home I've lived in here for around 25 years. They have always done a great job and I've always highly recommended them and I always give them a 5 star rating which I just did on September 19 when they came out for my twice a year maintenance. The technician Joel was here for over an hour and did an excellent job. Now I'm not sure if another company bought them but I have noticed a big change in their customer service and communications. 1) I received a letter around 2 1/2 weeks ago saying I needed to make an appointment for my maintenance. I was out of town for labor day weekend and I didn't receive it until I got home the day after so I called to set an appoinment up and they told me it would be on September 12 between 1-4 PM. The letter also said that if i would wanted to renew my contract it would be $147 but when I called them up to make the appointment the person I spoke to said the fee was $157 and I asked him why it had gone up up in a week or two and he said he was not aware of the letter I received and he was very nice and said he would send me a $10 refund which he did. 2) Then on the morning of September 12 I received a call saying that my appointment was scheduled for September 19 between 2 and 5 and NOT that afternoon! Not sure why the change but no big deal as I am usually home running a mail order business. 3) Anyway as mentioned above the technician Joel did a great job and tried to explain to me as best as he could what he did plus showed me 10 or more pictures of my system pointing out that there was a lot of mold and mildew and asked if I wanted to schedule to have it removed for $400 or so. I asked him more about it but he's Spanish and didn't speak great English so I told him I'd call the office after he left which I did. 4) I'm not going to go over all the calls I made that day but I spoke to 3 people (all Spanish and all very hard to understand except that each said that someone would call me back. No one did.) 5) I called yesterday September 20 and spoke to one of the same men and asked why no one had called me back and got the same answer which is that someone would call me back. 6) It is now Wednesday September 21 and still no call back. UPDATE!!!! - IT IS NOW SEPTEMBER 22, 2022! STILL NO WORD FROM ANYONE AT BADGER BOB'S!! INCREDIBLE!! UPDATE # 2: - SEPTEMBER 23, 2022.....STILL NO CALL BACK!! UNBELIEVABLE!! Anyway I thought this review might help some people decide if they want to use BADGER BOB'S. Again their service (when they show up!) is good but their customer service communication seems to have gone way down hill.

I had an emergency plumbing issue, after a few calls....I couldn't have someone to come out for a week....Badger Bob's, said they could be here! I discussed the price of $89, service call....(which I thought was cheap)...I asked what the hourly charge was, told nothing.....only $89 dollars! I was thrilled.....I knew no parts were needed....showed up on time, told me the cost was 6X of the quote....Tech said he was gonna go to his car and call his manager....cause I said NO WAY....he sped away! Dont even bother if they are the last company available!
