So, had them out a year ago to replace some external faucets and signed up for the Friends and Family plan for the discount. The work on the external faucets was ok, took a week to get things cleaned up properly. Had them out today for a yearly plumbing inspection, and it was rather eye opening.
They recommended a $3300 full house water softener. They recommended a new garbage disposal, and quoted $400 vs $100 for the same part at Amazon or Lowes. Replacing the fill tubes and flappers on three toilets came to $888. I've done this before, its $25 and maybe 20 minutes of work each. I should point out that the toilets are not leaking/running, the garbage disposal is not leaking or broken and the water isn't hard in my city.
Shame there isn't a 0 star option.

Monthly subscriber to Family and Friends. Requested annual a/c maintanence check but couldn't get an appointment for a month. On the scheduled day they were unable to give me a 'window' for appointment, waited home and got a call at 11:30 to cancel. All services offered by them have to be requested and scheduled separately otherwise they take the monthly fee and offer you nothing. This company is very hard to work with.

59.00 for air check up and Was TOLD that the technician would be able to clean out the outside unit, if I ask them- I did and I even referred to the person I spoke to from their office, but he did tell me it was a very old unit.
I knew that. I referEd back to my conversation with the office again when paying the bill. Still no attempt to even act like it was going to be done even when I ask 2x
If only the office would not have given me false hope that there was an option for this task to be done- with out having to keep asking***
I don't think it would have been a big deal. but I was expecting this to be done, from my conversation with the office.
thank you, but no thank you.
I will eventually need a new system, but.....

TERRIBLE. These guys charged us the cost of a new air handler over two years for tuning efforts! Was recommended last time to replace 4K worth of parts, one of which the TXV valve. Our system doesn't even have a TXV valve!!!! Blood suckers!! This company is not trustworthy. They will put low effort troubleshooting into your issue and will want to replace every part in line with the fault!

1 out of 5. Plumbing service was outstanding. Cleanup afterwards was dismal. Predatory marketing is the worst and when requested when that it stop by calling in and emailing, it continued. I asked to speak to the owner and he did not take my call.

Called them to come out and give a free estimate to unclog kitchen sink. Technician quoted price of over $400. I said no thank you at that price. The technician then said I was being charged a service fee of $39. I informed him that I had spoken to the scheduling people 3 times that day and not once did they mention there would be a $39 service fee. I checked their website and it does not mention anything about a service fee. I protested but still had to pay the $39 fee before the technician would leave. And oh by the way, their website says simple drain unclogging is $99! They won't ever hear from me again.

A wonderful local company that calls back quickly and cares for their clients. I recommend you give them a try.

I'd actually give ZERO stars. Had 3 pans replaced under our heaters in the attic. We are members of their "plan" as well. Their pricing on their iPads are deceiving. They highlight their SAVINGS Not how much the actual total cost is going to be. We paid $4200 for 3 pans. It took 2 days. After the first day they said we needed to pay $2200. They'd collect the rest the next day! We understood it was going to be about $1k TOTAL! We were shocked. The installer, Blake, got a little defensive and said he is not a crook and doesn't lie. The total bill was $4437! Later, we got a quote from a local guy and he said he'd charge $300 a pan! We called and talked to Allen the supervisor and he explained that because his company is huge and there is a lot of overhead they have to cover. We've had prior quotes from Bacon and turned them down. As Allen explained it costs them $350.00 just to send out a truck. Regardless whether they do a service or not. This expense all occurred after the "free inspection"!!!! Not recommended shop the market get multiple quotes, we've learned our lesson!!!

Had someone come out to check our AC and shoot co2 down the drain for a "clog". Joined "family and friends" on visit cause I thought it was a great service to have. AC continued to not work. Called someone out cause the house was hot. They sent someone over on Christmas Eve. Took apart the unit and identified I had a massive clog in the unit. I was given an option for a 9,000 AC replacement or partial repair. I thought about the repair and declined days later. Technician personally called me and emphasized "Well I'm glad we could come out for you on CHRISTMAS EVE. Hope everything works out" high unprofessional and distasteful. It wasn't my fault my AC went out during the holidays. When you're driving down the side of the road and your car breaks down. Do you expect that? NO!!!...Spent 237.00 on co2...have a membership I've been trying to cancel since December. I don't trust them and don't want to work with them. But no manager ever calls back and is given a "task". I've called since December and no one has record. First monthly payment came out in January. I want you off my card!!

We had a problem with our tankless water heaters not supplying enough hot water for two people. Bacon sent a plumber who was more like a used car salesman who said there was nothing wrong with our heaters, but we needed a flush, which would cost about $650. He also recommended rebuilding a manifold and installing a line directly to the kitchen so we would always have hot water. I declined, but the owner reduced the price if we would join Friends and Family, a monthly subscription service. I agreed. Next plumber flushed the heaters, but said they could not install the line to the kitchen. Three days later we had no hot water. He returned and said I need an igniter, and if I ordered it, he would install it for $450. I ordered it for $20. I went out to the heater, and the cover was on the ground and the screws missing. I looked at the furnace, identified the igniter, unplugged it, plugged in the new one. Took less than two minutes. Works great.
Not sure why all the negative reviews are "not recommended" by Yelp.
