Hands down they deserve more than 5 stars. I was having several problems and had called another company out that literally the man sent me a text and said i am sorry I cannot help you. I called Bacon and there was this nice, very clean, (cause a lot of AC men do not care about their appearance) and very respectful young man named Eric Torres that had explained exactly what was going on and why I was experiencing A/C problems. He explained the cost and it was not outrageous . He told me that he did not like seeing me and my family not having a/c as well and what a kind heart he had. He had me up and running and called the next day , and then this week also to check on us and make sure everything was still going good. WHO DOES THAT!!! And crazy I got a phone call from my son yesterday saying something was wrong with his and I immediately had him call and request this same young man out. My son is already taken care of and we are all cooled off. Eric Torres if you ever read this I want you to know there needs to be alot more young men like you!! You heart is huge and thank you for checking on our family!! I will always call back and request you and even send anyone that needs AC work to you. I know it is hot out there and when I am hot I get irritated, you just kept a smile on your face and you were amazing. Thank you sir

I was out of town when my water heater pilot went out. I called Thur morning before I boarded a flight home. Hoping to get an appointment before the weekend. Gave my wife's number as back up and told dispatch I could receive text. During my 2 hour flight a Bacon plumber contacted my wife, inspected and handed my wife a quote. Bacon provided my wife no options. Replacement of a $125~ control valve retail price. The bill was $1197.82. Charge my wife over $1000 in labor for a job that takes an hour. Tried voicing my concern and the Mager Kevin admitted tech didn't try to contact me. Admitted tech should have given my wife options. Admitted the optics are that his tech took advantage of my wife's experience with plumbing but all he offered was a $50 gift certificate for next time. Next time? I would never use Bacon unless you are very knowledgeable of the cost of job. I have made it my mission to share my experiences with friend and family in Rockwall. Even a stranger at grocery store. Just want to make sure everyone knows what you are getting when you work with Bacon.

Technicians failed to diagnose 35k worth of plumbing damages while we were under contract for a house. We purchased the house and no we can't live in it due to the plumbing issues.

Called them out for a commercial AC issue, as previous company we used shuttered after the owner passed away. Tech walked in said oh we haven't worked on your system before then I'm not gonna service it.

The technicians who enter your house are nice and respectful, which is great.

However, my experience since working with Bacon has been kind of a nightmare. I can never get through when I call, my emails go unanswered, texts to previous Bacon contacts that texted me FIRST go unanswered which is super strange and very frustrating. I spent nearly $25,000 on a new HVAC system with them and this is the service level I got after investing that money with them.

Their invoice makes no sense. Good luck reading it on your own making sure you're not getting taken advantage of.

Their system install blocked the path from one side of my attic to the other, so I can no longer use that storage space. I wasn't told of this limitation by the technicians or sales guys who designed the system to install - thanks for that, guys.

On top of it, I was told that I would be given rebate information about our new system - and no one's sent that yet after months and a few phone calls to try and get it from them. Thanks for nothing.

AND, I'm still being charged $10 a month for a Friends & Family program that has provided absolutely NO value to me nearly 6 months in. Still trying to figure out how I can cancel that other than approaching my bank.

BEWARE of Bacon! I hear others on neighborhood apps have had issues with them, too. Take your hard-earned money elsewhere.

After selling my client on an upgraded system for $23,000, they removed the existing system only to not have what they sold us. After waiting for two months they finally installed the unit and devices, but billed my client directly. As a general contractor this cuts me out of my 20% fee. To make matters worst the unit has failed several times in the first two months of operation. They have come to repair at no cost, but this has left my client very displeased. Now after the unit quit operating once again on a cold night leaving them with no heat, my client, who I make around $60,000 a year maintaining his properties, has canceled my services due to their incompetence. As a general contractor I would never recommend them to anyone.

Can't give any stars. Their technician fed us a line of crap about needing $70000 plus in pipe damage. Then told us he cleared the clog which was a huge lie. Had 2 additional companies out for their opinion and neither saw any cracks. They also fixed the the clog. Very disappointing. hopefully they will return the $419 we paid for nothing. if Dillon from Bacon comes to your house DON'T let him in. He's only trying to win some company contest

Charged for way over priced estimates. The labor would be max 4 hours for an electrician to install two new outlets. The estimate was over $1,800.00. The estimate cost $39.00, I will never again pay for an estimate.

We had Bacon out 3 times to fix a problem with our toilet 'whining' when we flushed it. They replaced the float mechanism on first call, the water line on 2nd call and 3rd call wanted $278 more to replace the ball valve leading to toilet. I don't appreciate being used as a 'trouble-shooting' test case for their lack of ability to isolate an issue to resolve since my wife and I both work at home and wasted at least 2 hours on the service calls. I spoke to management team (Brennan) and got a lot of lip service about how their records hadn't been updated showing the history of this issues and service calls. I wouldn't recommend them as a professional working from home.

This is perhaps the most thorough company I have ever seen at finding problems to be fixed. I will give them that, It reminds me of the strict inspector. They look at everything. (Everyone's situation is different but I can only write this review based on my observation.) In the end, the price was astronomical to me.(thousands) They also charge you a trip charge.

After receiving the diagnosis report. I rejected the agent coming out for a quote to replace everything. My air was hard down and they wanted to replace everything. They could do it as soon as tomorrow which was appealing but I had a bad gut feeling about them. To repair the problem was thousands and I know to replace it was thousands too. Other companies offered mobile units and time to make a decision. I mean there was no pressure to make a decision. This company offered to send an agent out for a quote to replace everything.
