he got the sink and the tub unclogged but he pulled out some nasty greese and left a pile out by my car. that was somewhat understandable but he wiped some on my car light and didnt bother to take his gloves off to enter the house and got the greese/rotting food on our door knob too. other than that he got the job done i guess. which is why this is 2 stars and not 1.

We used B&I plumbing a few times for sewer related problems. When my friend asked for her recommendation of a plumber to fix her garbage disposal I suggested B&I. Even though it was a Saturday, a couple of hours later I got a text from my friend, letting me know the B&I had come over and discovered that her garbage disposal was just stuck, used a wrench to fix it and didn't charge her anything. Thanks for taking such good care of my friend!

12 year old water heater died overnight. Called Ivo and he was out to our house within an hour or two. Had it replaced and the old one packed away within another hour and a half. Excellent and speedy service!

So it's the night before Easter and our kitchen sink was clogged. We tried to fix it ourselves, but couldn't and that started it leaking underneath because we cracked one of the thingamajigs that you tighten down to keep it from leaking. So now it's Easter morning and we have company coming for dinner. I called and left messages for 2 other plumbers who I still have not heard from, and this was my third one. Not only did Ivo answer his phone at 8:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday, he said that even though he wasn't working, he would be here in 20 minutes and he was! He cleaned 20 years of crud out of it, replaced that thingamajig, and was gone before 10 a.m. Thank you Ivo!!

I called Ivo yesterday to replace an 80+ year old shower valve in our ancient home. It was a nightmare of frozen parts and frustration. Ivo quickly returned my call, came out later that afternoon, and within 30 minutes (with a little good-hearted cursing) had the valve pulled. He told me to go to Brothers Plumbing with the stem, and they would have a replacement. Nope -- he didn't say he'd get it himself and finish the job the next day for an extra few hundred $$$. He said you go get it, and it will take you 5 minutes to re-install it. He was right -- job done in 5 minutes, and we're up and running. A great plumber and human being who loves his work and people, and respects your home, intelligence, and pocketbook.

Ivo came to our 1920s home on short notice and installed a new sump pump for us, improving on the previous situation, quickly and for a very reasonable price. He's knowledgeable as well as a nice guy who took time to patiently answer all of my husband's many questions. We will call B & I again when we redo our master bath.
