We had a simple pipe leak involving a very small (3 cm) segment of a pipe in the wall of our garage. The wall was already removed and the pipe was already exposed. A Wagner plumber came (non-emergently) and spent no more than 30 minutes to replace the pipe segment with a simple copper segment which he sautered into place, taking no more than 1 minute to do. We were pretty shocked then to see a total charge of a whopping $400!! WOW. For less than 30 minutes of work.

Furthermore, when we called Customer Service the next day to understand the charge better, we were told Wagner does not have a set hourly rate, and no ability to provide an itemized invoice. When we spoke to the plumber directly, he said the company's rate for repairing pipe leaks is a standard ""$397.00"" -- regardless of how simple it would be to fix. Seems like a lot to charge for a straightforward, simple issue.

Next time we have a plumbing problem, we won't be returning to Wagner and will shop around for more reasonable rates elsewhere.

Thank you for the fast service. On Christmas Eve as I was changing the furnace filter, I noticed a wet spot. Water inside our furnace. I knew immediately that the condensate drain was plugged and leaking. And dang it is late afternoon before Christmas. I called Wagner Mechanical, and they came out right away. It was the condensate drain but it wasn't an easy fix. They would have to come back. The technician, Philip Morgan, ensured that we had enough small portable heaters to keep us warm. And those little heaters certainly did the job.

Philip was back in just a couple of days and fixed the leak. He ensured it was working and no leaks. He also cleaned our furnace in case any water got anywhere else. He was friendly, capable, and knowledgeable. Thank you Wagner for sending Philip to us. He is a great technician.

Thank you Wagner for responding so fast especially around an important holiday.

PS Our furnace/ HVAC is about 10 years old and is great. This is the first thing to go wrong and dust is certainly a problem in the Southwest and Albuquerque.

Called to have Wagner try to fix my hot water heater when the pilot went out and wouldn't come back on again. Technician pulled the burner assembly and gave it a ""cleaning"" (vacuumed the burner plate and used some abrasive material on the thermocouple). Put the assembly back into the heater but pilot still wouldn't stay lit (btw, this ""service"" cost me $400). Then proceeded to recommend replacement of the whole hot water heater at a cost of $3500! I almost bit on that but wanted to check around for better deals. Good thing I did because I came to realize all we really needed to do was replace the thermocouple assembly in the burner unit to get it working again - a $100 part vs. full replacement at $3500 ! Shame on you Wagner, first price gouging on a simple service and then pulling a bait and switch on an overpriced full replacement. Either you knowingly use these tactics or your service technicians are grossly incompetent. This was my second experience using Wagner. First was OK, although still overpriced. Second was a game-changing, never again experience. Buh bye Wagner!

Wagner installed a new a/c and furnace at my house in May. they showed me how to turn on the furnace then. When I tried to turn it on 2 weeks ago, it initially starts but after 5minutes, shuts down. I called and was told the soonest appointment for service was November 18! Two snow storms caused me to buy space heaters to keep the pipes from freezing. we tried every double shooting item suggested in the manual but the furnace does not stay lit. Even though this is a new product they installed, Wagner has refused to send someone sooner. The woman on the phone at Wager could not have been less sympathetic. My electric bill is going to be huge from the space heaters. And I am sure.the bill to fix this new furnace will be a couple hundred dollars. What a difference from the service when I was paying $13,000 for the install. They literally scheduled that the next day. But to fix it, ten days. Another freezing weekend ahead of me. This company does not take care of loyal customers.

Wagner did a wonderful job for me . They were professional, punctual did everything I asked them to do. Cleaned up everything and we're very polite and easy to work with . Cody Dawson in particular did a wonderful job and I would recommend this technician electrician for anyone . Thank you so much I will be using them for future jobs for sure thank you
