The technician diagnosed a leak which we had thought came from a second floor shower. It turned out to be the two upstairs bathroom toilets which needed to be replaced. Dylan, the technician, replaced the toilets and totally cleaned up the workspace afterwards. He worked hard and never stopped. We will definitely call B. Carlson for all future plumbing needs.

I would avoid this company. I scheduled a repair for my ductless AC system. I called the day before to confirm my AM appointment. The day of the appointment, nobody called and nobody showed up. I called 2 hours after the scheduled work window to be told that I would need to reschedule for the following day. I specifically took off time from work and called the day before to confirm. Carlson is not a cheap or small operation. There are many options for HVAC repair in the area, and I would recommend another company if you value reliability and honesty.

After 3 calls with no call back, bounced emails and no response from their contact form to discuss an invoice where the tech did not resolve the plumbing issue. I feel compelled to caution anyone to do business with them.

I been trying to call this company for weeks just hangs up on me, they came ordered a part and now I can't set up the appt . To have air condition part installed in a heat wave . Can't reach anyone at any number . What is wrong with this company it just cost me 500 in loss income. I never use this company again .

Very shady business dealings. Got an estimate, was told when I called to schedule i would need to pay 30% up front for parts, which was fine. When I called to schedule $5000 worth of work they kept trying to update to a new unit and then told me I had to pay 100% of the work prior to even scheduling. Not sure how they have been in business this long with these poor ethics.

BLOATED ESTIMATE. B. Carlson sent out a technician because my AC unit was making a horrible sound and the fans were barely moving when in use for a few hours. I took a video of the unit so a technician wouldn't have to wait hours to see the problem, and I wouldn't have to run the AC for hours again and possibly blow the compressor. They sent a technician out the same day, Monday, at 6pm. He said it was the condenser fan motor, and he would have to find the part the next morning and send an estimate in the morning. I paid the service fee. I called the next day on my lunch break because I hadn't gotten an emailed receipt for the service fee and also inquired about the estimate. I got both after calling. The estimate had one long description of the work, including items that didn't need replacing but not including labor, then the total. Almost $1,500! I called and asked to talk with someone to get a breakdown of the estimate. The dispatcher said she would send the technician a message to call me. The next morning I called and the dispacter said she would send the technician a message to call me. Is it third times a charm??? No, I called with the same question and the dispatcher was surprised I hadn't gotten a response because she saw the note and sent the message again. No response from the technician. By Thursday, I called around for a 2nd estimate, after each day being 100°F. Thankfully a wonderful company was able to get me an estimate on Thursday and replaced the motor for $575, almost 1/3 of B. Carlson's estimate. Still haven't heard back from B. Carlson about the break down of their estimate. Save your time and money, call another company.

You really learn a lot about a company when they lose your businesses. So Thankful we did not go with this company.
Due to another leak in our AC being identified it was suggested we look into just getting an entirely new unit. B Carlson sent us their sales person (Mario) to complete get measurements and quote us. This was a 2.5 hour ordeal, for this sales person to be completely obsessed with our return air situation upstairs. He spent so much time doing this I think he forgot why he was actually there. It look him so much time to write up an estimate on his tablet it wasn't clear and he said he would clean it up later, but that never happened but then asked us to sign it. Who knows how accurate it was.
They then were to provide portable AC units, I called Mario 3 times as I had not heard from him about this and when they would arrive to our house, each time he acted surprised we hadn't heard back. It's frustrating to feel like you are trapped to your home because no one can give you a time of delivery. Mario then told us he wanted to come back AGAIN to further look at our unit. During this time, I had continued to ask about availability, scheduling, price, financing and could never get an answer because he ""had to talk to his manager"" which he told us about 50 times or needed to come back and look at the unit again and never could provide concrete info. It was so much run around and time wasted we decided it was not worth sticking with this company, it all made us feel too uneasy.

When I called to cancel my appointment I provided the reason why we were moving on and the receptionist on the phone couldn't hang up faster. I reminded her we had a portable AC unit that needed to be returned to them. I got a call from Mario within 10 minuets telling me he was at my house to pick up the unit. I was on my way to a work meeting about to leave and he's being extremely pushy saying he's here to pick it up total disregard that I had an obligation... what would he have done if I wasn't home? I felt that his actions in this were extremely rude, pushy, unprofessional and inappropriate.

I think reading reviews is extremely important and I am so grateful we found a different company, who quoted his much cheaper and the day of, and all within 1 hour. I hope this review can help someone.

Here's where it falls apart. I've been rescheduled three (3) times to date, even after the appointment had been confirmed. I was promised last time they rescheduled me at the very last minute that it would not happen again... I had to take off work on each occasion in order to meet the serviceman at my home. If I don't work, I don't get paid. I have lost more pay than the $50 credit on any future service they offered me yesterday due to their poor scheduling and lack of consideration for my time.

I set up an appointment to have my hot water heater flushed. I asked what the total price would be and I was quoted $180 plus tax. So I figured since I had a $150 coupon this would be a great deal. After I read the reviews on the company people were not informed of the $79 service charge. I called back to B Carlson and I was informed that the charge would be $150 plus the service charge for a total of $229 plus tax. Not a great deal. I cancelled the appointment. People requesting their service beware of the service charge
