Failed to show up for an appointment 3 times without any notice. Worst plumbing company in the country.
Marie L.I opened a service request for plumbing with American Home Shield in late January. I had someone show up on Feb 1st and was told he would be forwarding information to AHS about the work that needed to be done. That was the last time I heard from the company and they do not answer the phone or return my phone calls. I have complained to AHS numerous times and hold them responsible also for allowing this type of situation to continue. They have reached out numerous times and they cannot reach the contractor either. This is absolutely inexcusable!
Eric F.Read the reviews from this year! I have experienced exactly the same things with a very small plumbing issue in the master bath. My claim was through AHS which began 3/25/2021.
I have called AHS 3 times so they would follow up with BB Lewis Plumbers and have gotten no where. Just more lip service.
It's now 5 weeks later with nothing done.
How would you feel. I wish these guys needed a vendor to come to their home for repairs... they wouldn't put up with this at all!

Just recv'd an email from AHS. BB Lewis ( Jason ) says they can't do the job because of access... so I sent photos of the access for whirlpool tub motor! They continue to put you through Hoop after Hoop until you give up. Going on 2 Months to get a tub motor job done. SO SAD! They say there is no access?
SCAM ALERT Please STAY AWAY from this company!!! They lied to AHS claiming they completed plumbing work at my house while they never showed up to get anything fixed!!! I don't know how they can legally be allowed to stay in business. I also just found out they are NOT BBB accredited and there is no surprise there.
Jason came in a very timely manner for an emergency situation. He fixed the problem. He was professional.
Kirk D.Jason is a scam artist whom I was assigned Jason through AHS. I had to call and text multiple times for 4 days to get a call back even though I was to receive communication within 24 hours. Once he came to my house he told me to my face that my tankless hot water damage was caused by age and not the winter storm. He stated I would have a replacement installed in 2-3 days. The following day I was notified by AHS that he stated my issue was 100% weather related and would not covered. I spoke with him on the phone and Jason told me the "rules" changed and he couldn't risk an audit and hung up. I have no idea what that meant. I tried to deal with AHS and they were not helpful. I canceled them because I feel like every time I used them I got a scam artist like Jason of BB Lewis plumbing. He assured me to my face that my issue was covered and told me that my problem would be fixed promptly. Because I waited about a week trying to get him out to my house then telling AHS the opposite of what he told me I had to order a new tankless hot water heater that was on backorder everywhere. My pregnant wife and I went 3 weeks without hot water and I blame Jason and AHS. Based on so many terrible reviews there's a clear pattern that Jason takes these calls then says whatever he needs to say to AHS so they don't have to pay for a repair. He then pockets the $100 service fee from multiple people per day and AHS doesn't have to pay for the repair. I feel it's an all around scam. I even angrier because Jason acted so friendly helpful to me with no actual intention of helping me. Moving forward I will just pay more out of pocket for quality work than deal with AHS and their rolodex or poorly rated repairmen who are looking to pocket your service fee. Please avoid BB Lewis and Jason who's the owner at all costs. He and his company do not want anything other than your $100 service charge then will move onto the person to take advantage of.
I wish I could give them zero stars. I was assigned this plumber from American Home Shield. I was given a 4 hour window for him to show up. When only 30 minutes was left in the window, I called and reached his voice mail. My message went something like "I have an appointment with you for today between 1-5 pm and I'm calling because it's 4:30 and I haven't heard a peep from you and wanted to see when you may be coming."
I didn't feel that I said it in a rude way. I thought it was a reasonable request.
He called back about 5 minutes later and said he was 30 minutes out. The 30-minutes out would have put him at my place 3 minutes before his window was up. I mentioned that to him (in a questioning way - I was trying to understand) and things turned south. I said I thought that the 1-5 pm meant that he would be there and fix it within that timeframe.
He got very rude and said "I don't know if anyone has ever explained a service window to you, but it means that we show up then, not necessarily fix the issue then." He went on to say that I was so rude that he was going to call American Home Shield and tell them that he couldn't service my home today. I apologized and then said that I would still like him to come but he said, "No. You lost your chance. I called and scheduled the appointment with you and I was pretty sure I was talking to an adult. I am going to call American Home Shield right now and tell them that there is no way I can service your house and they will get you another plumber."
I called American Home Shield to tell them what had happened - and this time I was truly calling for help - not to complain about him - but it turns out that he had already called the highest manager and told them about our interaction. It's like he was complaining about me!!! The person I talked with was very kind and said that it didn't sound as if I was being unreasonable and he apologized. They found me another plumber.
By that time I was in tears. The plumber was rude - not me. I was the client asking for service - instead I got toxic masculinity with a heavy dose of mansplaining. I will never use this plumber. I understand that he may have had a bad day - I even said as much to him. However there is no excuse for his ugly behavior.
Troy M.If I could give zero stars I would. I Called American home shield and they recommended them to come out to fix my issue. That call took place on feb 7. I called home shield back and was concerned about the Yelp ratings. Thus reassured me that they would take good care of us. They did come out and diagnose the issue and said they didn't have the part but would come out and do it the following Monday. He granted we had the snow storm and I was super patience. I called at the new of February and no return calls I called the warranty company first week of March and the bb Lewis had not even sent in the part order needed to complete. Then home shield called them and by a small miracle they answered and said they would come out the following Monday. Here it is the end of March and still no fix or getting paperwork to home shield. Do not use them at all. It is a waste of time
Jensen Y.BB Lewis was assigned me me by AHS, the plumber showed up, looked at the pipe for 5 minutes and left while I was in the other room. Eventually he called 5 hours later and said he needed to find a specific part and would be back that day, then it turned out it had to be special ordered (sure) then two weeks later on his next appointment he thought he might have covid, (suuuuuure) then after that he just cut off all contact.
I guess this is some sort of scam on AHS? All I know is that BB Lewis is a flat out liar.
B&B assigned a work order though AHS my home warranty company. They took 5 days to respond to the work order, despite being required to respond in 2 days. Jason came to my house, disconnected the sink, and stated that he would return in 3 days with a new part. After waiting 7 days, I called Jason. His response was that the company was busy and he would not complete the work...despite having been paid and disconnecting my sink. The lack of communication, follow through, and respect should be red flags for all future clients. DO NOT allow them in your home.
