I am removing my previous review and pictures. There were some issues, however, the company genuinely does seem to care about their customers. Although my experience wasn't great, we have come to a resolution.

Called them frantic as guests at a vacation rental were experiencing issue. Ended up moving guests from 4/3 to a 5/5 so they were thrilled. Both beautiful homes and guests were so happy. I was amazed at the fast service of Aztec. RANDY is nothing short of AMAZING. Aztec is my new 911. From calling the front office to reaching Randy on-site, I'm so impressed.

**WARNING** Our experience with Aztec Plumbing was very disappointing. We contracted them to replace the piping in our home; however, they included an expensive service which wasn't necessary. When they arrived to do the work they were shorthanded which required them to come back on another day. They set a day, but then changed it to another, which caused us to be without our Kitchen sink and dishwasher for ELEVEN days. When they finally returned to finish the plumbing part of the work, the technicians realized we had been overcharged, but the company didn't adjust the job amount. When we attempted to question this, the General Manager then charged the credit card we provided as a deposit for over $7,000 WITHOUT our authorization. Aztec then abandoned the job without repairing the walls, leaving holes throughout the house for months. Eventually, we had to hire a drywall contractor to do the repairs. We filed a regulatory complaint against Aztec, which has been forwarded for a decision to refer the matter for prosecution. This was Aztec's response to our offer to resolve the matter. ... this is an active investigation with the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, we feel at this time that letting the investigative process play out is the best course of action given the serious nature of the below allegations. Aztec has done a lot of advertising for their services. This is the other side of the story.

We had a slow toilet back up. Aztec does respond quickly which is great. But you pay for it. I've used them twice for the same toilet (service calls where a year apart). Initially I thought the high price was because it was a rush or emergency charge ($450 to snake a toilet). But was told the pricing is the same no matter when. Second call I was told the price had increased now to $500. Because this was a repeat problem they said they would a free camera inspection which they did the very next morning. I viewed the video it showed some toilet paper in the lines, no complete blockage but clumps of toilet paper. They suggested a hydro pressure wash for the main line to clear it. The price $2000.00. They told me it may take 3 hours to do the whole house. After I told them I would need to get 2 other estimates the plumber got agitated and asked me to rate his service. He said they could o it right away. I told him that price seemed high. He also told me that a pipe connected was shifted and that they needed to install a liner. Cost $10,000.00. They could do it right away, next morning. He showed me the misaligned pipes which didn't really look misaligned but he noted that there was some sand that validated the problem. Then to prove the price estimates were in line he showed me the website on his tablet with the prices listed. As if to alleviate any concern that these were high prices. He then went on to say that any other quotes I get may be significantly lower but it was because other plumbers didn't have the latest in equipment. And that other plumbers may intentionally create other problems to charge me more, hmmmm. So, I now call my HOA and ask for recommendations of other plumbers which they provide. A new recommended plumber came out and I told him the quoted price for hydro jetting (pressure washing the main line) and who was quoting it (Aztec) and he just smiled and laughed to himself. He explained that everyone knows that Aztec plumbers work on a commission basis and keep a percentage of whatever they can charge. Their best interest is a high fee not what will necessarily fix your problem for the least amount of money. When you ask Aztec about their high prices they have rehearsed responses (as if thy hear this all the time). My new plumber, who has been in business for 35 years, did the hydro jetting for less than half of what they were trying to charge. And he did another camera video of the main line. In fact there was no need for pipe lining, a pipe misalignment should have a 3 inch separation or more before something like that is needed. He could not confirm that there was any separation, and if there was it was so minor it likely may never shift any more again. The house is only 3 years old. My new plumber explained this was a tactic other plumbers use to scare you into charging exorbitant prices. My new plumber explained the root of the problem was the new water saving toilets that most new houses come with. And that there simply was not enough strong water flow through the pipes (specifically at that one toilet). He suggested replacing the toilet with a non water saving basin (where the full tank empties with a much stronger force). Alas, problem solved. Beware Aztec, they will try to charge you double or triple. Apparently enough people here in SWFL don't follow up with additional estimates. Make sure you read all the other reviews first. They are prompt, professional etc. but you may be paying a very high price.

Was very satisfied with both Aztec, and more importantly Joey the plumber who came out to my home and was very nice and professional. I thought the price was a bit high for Hot Water Heater installation, but all in all very satisfied. And Joey is a complete gentleman.

Don't use Aztec. They did a video scan on April 30 of a house I was planning to buy Randy stated the line was clean but forgot to do the second line. He assumed it was good. I bought the house and two months later had a major blockage. Aztec came out to clean this obstruction and charged me $1900 for the job. The two gentleman started their job around 10 AM finished at 1 PM. Materials used might have cost around $100. The labor would be $600 an hour. After this Randy told me it would cost another $3648 to finish the job. The solution should have been. Replace the cast iron with PVC under the whole house. Moral of the story. Trusting the expertise of Aztec plumbing was my mistake. The price quoted was a rip off. The PVC replacement has now been completed for $1300.

Had a leak in my tub/shower.... Expected them to rip the dry wall out to reach pipes. Ended up being a leak from the faucet. He put on some plumber's tape and a silicon sealer. He was in my house a max of 10 minutes.. the bill was $230 ..... I am in the wrong line of work... I cant imagine the cost if they had to rip out the drywall....

I have used them for repairs in my home. They give you a bio on the tech that will be arriving so you will know who will be in your home and their experience level. They gave me a written estimate of cost before the work was done. Not cheap but done right and my water bill dropped significantly due to these repairs. Great job

Had Aztec fix clogged drain. Called and was told drain clean was $159. Work was perfect, technician was very neat, clean and personable. Charged us $230. Called about discrepancy and was told that was only for drain on street to house and they could not be responsible for what i was told. Thought it was misleading so probably won't use them again. There are lots of up front plumbers around.

Our water pressure regulator for sprung a leak. They charged $523 for a new valve that retails for under $200, and $600 for 3 hours labor. Total rip-off, but it was a Friday and I think they figured they could take advantage of situation. The work was done properly, otherwise I'd be looking to give them zero stars.
