Do not waste your precious time nor money with AZ Remodeling & Plumbing. We have had two horrible experiences with their service representatives. One rep came to our home for a stoppage that was affecting our toilet. He told us we needed to buy a new toilet, and that our problem would be solved. That didn't sound right, so I contacted another company who came out the following day and cleared the stoppage in under ten minutes. Our toilet is fine. They've also set up appointments with us and then canceled them without letting us know. I've waited at home for their technicians, only to find out they never intended on showing up, and didn't bother to communicate. They will try to work ways around your home warranty to collect your service fees, and not provide adequate service. I am sorely disappointed. You have been warned.

Make sure if you have First American Home Buyers Protection you are stuck with AZ plumbing company!!!! our hot water heater broke and it took this company 2 weeks to come after rescheduling the appt 3 times, oh my truck doesn't work, oh i have a flat tire...the last day they just didnt show up...they ordered a new hot water heater and then they needed an additional little over 400 dollars for hoses and other things that of course wasn't covered buy the warranty and they wanted it in cash only...they installed two weeks after that because they had the same excuses when it came in...oh my truck is broken...my truck is still broken...and again broken...the forth rescheduled day the new hot water heater was installed and the next morning still no hot water...we called them and he said oh i thank that we got a heater that was being recalled!!! Are you kidding me???? We are now going to court to get the """"cash"""" that was given because we end up calling someone else and it works beautifully after dealing with this plumbing joke of a business!!

Same deal as everyone else. I have a warranty with AHS. It got so bad I called AHS and said they are to no longer service my property and that AHS needs to contract a different plumber with my property. Horrible!

Absolutely the worst plumbing company in our area. They have no customer service. They took over a week and a half to install a hot water heater. There was no hot water to the home and it was leaking. Still no concern on their part. They just said they were """"to busy"""". Not sure why anyone would ever use this company. Trust me...AWFUL!

Three years ago, my water heater stopped working. I called my home warranty company, First American Homebuyers, and they sent AZ Plumbing to my home to check it out. The tech discovered a leak and replaced the entire water heater. Two days ago, the water heater quit working again. This time a half inch of water was sitting in the drip pan and the pilot wouldn't light. I had another plumbing company come assess the situation because AZ Plumbing didn't answer the phone when I called them. This tech reported a ruptured tank and said it would have to be replaced but since it was only 3 years old, it should still be covered under warranty. So I called the manufacturer's warranty line and confirmed that a replacement was indeed covered by the warranty. I was told by the representative that the replacement could be installed by any company I chose (not necessarily the company who did the initial install). I called AZ Plumbing since the job they did the first time was satisfactory. I don't know who the lady was that i talked to when I called, but she was an idiot. I explained to her that AZ Plumbing had installed the water heater 3 years ago, a plumber confirmed a leak, and it needed to be replaced and was under warranty. Would they come replace it? She requested my name and address and the work order number from the old invoice. I gave her all the information I had but she couldn't locate my information. So she asked if I would send her a copy so she could look it up. At this point I asked her why she needed this info because the install 3 years ago was irrelevant to the current issue. It made no difference who did the install back then because it would still be covered under warranty no matter who replaced it. She insisted she needed a copy because the old invoice """"wasn't in their system"""" and """"maybe another company installed it."""" (Never mind that I got the number to call them straight off their own invoice.) IRRELEVANT. After 20 minutes of discussing this, she insisting it was their policy to have this information, and me explaining to her that she really didn't because if I had called another company to replace the warrantied heater (per the manufacturer's own representative), the other company wouldn't have the old invoice on file, nor would they need it. Finally I asked to speak to someone else because she clearly wasn't """"getting it."""" I don't know how long I stayed on hold, but it was too long so I hung up and called back...twice....and both times I remained on hold for several minutes without having talked to anyone. So I called the other number listed on the invoice. This time I talked to Jo (I'm guessing based on the email she gave me.) Jo insisted also that they needed that invoice. I went through the explanation again that the old invoice was irrelevant and asked her to please explain why I had to go to the trouble of sending her a copy of the invoice that they either lost or purged when they didn't even need it anyway. Her response was that if they wanted to get paid for the replacement they would need the old invoice. At this point, I wanted to bang my head against a wall. Instead, I agreed to email her a copy of the stupid invoice that had nothing to do with my current water heater issue. I asked her what the next step would be. She assured me they would call me back the same day. I emailed her the invoice at 11:27 am and it's now 1:40 am and I never received a call back. Thanks a lot for nothing, AZ Plumbing. I give you an F in customer service and an F in common sense. Ridiculous.

I had an issue with my water heater and called my home warranty company (AHS). The first company (NOT AZ) that was contracted to perform the work was unprofessional and the repair was not completed properly. I called AHS back and told them I wanted someone else to come back out to finish the job. They told me that AZ would do the work. So I looked them up on here and thought, """"Oh no -- it's going to be even worse now!"""" I'm happy to say that everything went VERY WELL. The tech who came out (Jay) called about 1/2 hour before he arrived; he was timely, courteous, and professional. He took the time to explain the workings of the system, why it had failed, and what he had done to repair it. He also told me what to do for follow up if it was necessary. I would be glad to have Jay come back to my house again. (I would like to suggest, however, that they have someone proofread their website and their correspondence, as there are many errors in spelling and grammar).

I agree with the other comments. I, too, was assigned this company through my Home Warranty (AHS). First I was told they couldn't get to me for two days (all water had to be shut off for leaking pipe). They called me and told me they would be at my place between 8 and noon. When 12:30 arrived, I called and asked where they were, and was told I had cancelled the call. I had done no such thing. I wouldn't recommend this company for anything. Customer service at its worst.

Use this company to your peril. If you want incompetent and dishonest service, pick this company. I was given this company through my home warranty company (First American Home Warranty). They came to my home four times, falsely claimed that they replaced parts and misdiagnosed my problem. I ended up having to go with another plumbing company to resolve my initial plumbing problem. I had 4 weeks of headaches dealing with this company. You have been warned. Update: One of the many lies that this company told me was that I needed to replace my stainless steel sink because it was too rusted to replace the new garbage disposal on. I just received a call yesterday (a week later) informing me that it would cost $600 to replace the sink (not including the cost for the replacement of the disposal). I informed them that I already had another plumbing company replace the disposal on the sink that they claimed had to be replaced. Incompetent or attempted fraud? Also, Lowe's sells stainless steel sinks that cost $59-$79. So, then their labor costs are in excess of $500. I told the representative not to bother calling me again and that I would never do business with them again.

We have a home warranty (AHS) and this company was assigned to us. The came to determine why our a/c was not working right and our house not cooling properly. This company came to my home once and was scheduled for a second time since the work the first time did not solve the problems. Besides doing work to my a/c that was not correct and was incomplete (another a/c company had to fix their work), I mostly want to address how I was treated by their technician and the owner. The first time the technician came out, he was nice. He gave me his cell number and said to call if the repairs did not work. They did not, so I called and left a message and then another when he did not call back. I had the home warranty company contact them to get me a response. The home warranty company suggested I contact the owner to get service scheduled. I did and the owner was disrespectful and obnoxious. Then I received a call, finally, from the service tech. He told me he would only come and check the Freon levels. I asked if he wanted to know the problems. He said no. All he would do is check the Freon levels. I told him the problems anyway. One of which being that the inside of my house fluctuated between 77 and 83 degrees. His response: """"You live in Florida. It is hot and humid out."""" Wow. I am not stupid, but he sure must have thought I was. I also do not accept rudeness. I told him not to come to my home again. I told the warranty company that this company was not permitted near me or my home. The warranty company admitted that there had been other complaints against this company by customers who had received poor and rude treatment.

Same thing here. Got them through First American Home Warranty Service to fix my AC( not cooling). Got no choice, was expecting will be good. But too sad, the guy was bad. Don't even explain well (because I'm foreigner my English is not that excellent) so I need to make sure everything is work properly so he don't need to come back fix it again. Well, that guy give me a bad look after I asked 2nd question. He said he will check to see everything ok but he lied. He took 5 minutes and finish the work which made me surprise (because I had same problem last time, the guy took almost 3 hours to get it work again. So 5 minutes made me think Really? That fast?) he told me wait couple minutes and ask for money, I said lets wait to see if it work. Then he gives me a BAD attitude and said its work fine and I gotta to go. WTF? I will never ever get them again. I will give 0 star if I can.
