Bad customer service, scheduled for a tech to come out, took time off of work then on got a call from their office on the day of scheduled service saying they forgot to give tech the work order and couldn't even accommodate our availability, don't bother with them.

So my father lives in Chelmsford,Mass and is having an issue with his central air/HVAC unit.Probably don't have the exact terminology right,but it is his central air unit which is about 8 years old.House is a ranch,part of the unit is in the attic.A worker comes out and goes up in the attic and bangs around for about 15 minutes and apparently almost electrocutes himself as my father watched from a distance.The guy,who apparently was pretty young,tells my father the circuit was fried and you have a serious problem and you need a whole new system,and gives him an estimate of $7800.
I told him check with someone else because it doesn't sound right,so another company comes in and replaces the circuit board and another small part and it works great....for $350.No excuse for this type of bullshit.They know what they are doing,he is elderly and they were just trying to take advantage of the situation.The guy even charged him $160 for the 15 minutes he was there,and made it sound like he was getting a deal.I told him he got ripped off.So if you want to get it tucked up your arse call this company...the owner will probably reply saying no foul...yeah?? I call bullshit again.

I am amending my review of this business. I didn't have all the information and my temper got to me thinking we were being taken advantage of, but after hearing from the owner of this company I was wrong.They actually did right by my father and made the appropriate recommendations.There are actually companies out there doing the right thing.

ZERO stars. So I had a very quick repair. They said they had the part in the car. They came down and took apart the old part and then walked out to their truck, stayed there for 15 mins and then came out and said that they actually don't have the part and that they have to go get it.
Basically I paid them for an hour worth of work but they only worked for about 15 mins and drove/hung out in thier truck for 45.
Oh and the thing they did, didn't actually fix my heater. So they ripped me off.
I got another heating guy to actually fix my heater and he told me that the part that they charged me to get, the part they were supposed to bring with them, they overcharged me for. I paid $85 for a $40 part.
Anything less than 1 star???

Scammers and Thieves!!! Please be aware, this company does not do a proper job and charges for ridiculous fees. The technician came out and felt the pipes, then charged $150 for 10 minutes of his time and didn't provide any services. This company provides awful services and should not be allowed to conduct business. Consumers be aware.

Hi really thought Ayotte was fast to make an appointment to fix my AC unit in the height of the heat wave. I like the fact that they can fix Hybrid Heating systems. (combination heat/AC units)
When I mistakenly shut off my hot water heater, I called Ayotte and spoke with John. He was kind enough to walk me though the simple process of unplugging and replugging in my heater.
He did not charge me for this! The hot water heater then worked great!
I highly recommend this company.

My house blower stopped working so no air was circulating. I called first thing in the morning and they told me it might have to be a time and 1/2 app't depending on the day but if they could come earlier it would not be. It ended up not being 1.5 time and when they came back to replace the broken part, the charge for the second visit was billed not as an initial hour.

Very fair, dependable and I was grateful during a heat wave to have my central AC back.

I called these guys out for an emergency at my house on a saturday evening - I had water leaking from a ceiling. The plumber showed up without even a flashlight. He had the smell of alcohol on his breath. I had to help him find my shutoff valves in the basement. He couldn't find the source of the leak. They charged $250 or so.

I walked the plumber though the bathrooms, he didn't notice a very obvious leak on my 3rd floor toilette (probably because he was drunk and didn't have a flashlight). He said this thing might be a very big job where we have to open up the ceilings in the house.

I asked him how it was working for Ayotte, and he mentioned that now it is good, but recently the company laid off a bunch of employees who were stealing from people's homes while they were on the job.

The next day I got a real plumber to come out, he fixed the leak in 10 minutes (it was the 3rd floor toilet - very simple and easy to notice for any plumber worth his weight), resolved all of the issues - probably because he was not drunk and had a flashlight.

Don't use these guys - they are absolutely terrible.

P.S. I called the next day to get a refund - they said they would call me the following day - they never did and just cashed the check. It's not even worth your time or energy to work with these people - just stay as far away as you can.

I had a leaking hot water tank the day after Christmas, it was out of warranty as well. So I call Ayotte to see if they can have some one come in and install a new one on the ASAP. I know it's hard to schedule some one on a Friday after the holiday, but they made it happen. I made the call at 10 AM, thought I may have to wait till Monday. But they got John and his partner to pickup the new tank at 11:30 and start working 12 noon and finished by 1 PM. John was fast and efficient, did nice soldering work on the pipe as well. With a young boy and pregnant wife in the house, without hot water for 3 days would be tough. But Ayotte made things working so fast that it's like it never happened. :)

The Ayotte team did an excellent job replacing my furnace, a/c, filter and condenser coil. The came in and finished their work fast and clean up after themselves.They also helped me with the MassSave rebate process! I would definitely be calling them for any other projects or follow up. Keep up the hard work and thank you.
