My house blower stopped working so no air was circulating. I called first thing in the morning and they told me it might have to be a time and 1/2 app't depending on the day but if they could come earlier it would not be. It ended up not being 1.5 time and when they came back to replace the broken part, the charge for the second visit was billed not as an initial hour.

Very fair, dependable and I was grateful during a heat wave to have my central AC back.

I called these guys out for an emergency at my house on a saturday evening - I had water leaking from a ceiling. The plumber showed up without even a flashlight. He had the smell of alcohol on his breath. I had to help him find my shutoff valves in the basement. He couldn't find the source of the leak. They charged $250 or so.

I walked the plumber though the bathrooms, he didn't notice a very obvious leak on my 3rd floor toilette (probably because he was drunk and didn't have a flashlight). He said this thing might be a very big job where we have to open up the ceilings in the house.

I asked him how it was working for Ayotte, and he mentioned that now it is good, but recently the company laid off a bunch of employees who were stealing from people's homes while they were on the job.

The next day I got a real plumber to come out, he fixed the leak in 10 minutes (it was the 3rd floor toilet - very simple and easy to notice for any plumber worth his weight), resolved all of the issues - probably because he was not drunk and had a flashlight.

Don't use these guys - they are absolutely terrible.

P.S. I called the next day to get a refund - they said they would call me the following day - they never did and just cashed the check. It's not even worth your time or energy to work with these people - just stay as far away as you can.

I had a leaking hot water tank the day after Christmas, it was out of warranty as well. So I call Ayotte to see if they can have some one come in and install a new one on the ASAP. I know it's hard to schedule some one on a Friday after the holiday, but they made it happen. I made the call at 10 AM, thought I may have to wait till Monday. But they got John and his partner to pickup the new tank at 11:30 and start working 12 noon and finished by 1 PM. John was fast and efficient, did nice soldering work on the pipe as well. With a young boy and pregnant wife in the house, without hot water for 3 days would be tough. But Ayotte made things working so fast that it's like it never happened. :)

The Ayotte team did an excellent job replacing my furnace, a/c, filter and condenser coil. The came in and finished their work fast and clean up after themselves.They also helped me with the MassSave rebate process! I would definitely be calling them for any other projects or follow up. Roberto came out to fix our running toilet. He was friendly, professional, and worked cleanly and quickly. The repair is of good quality, and was a great value. Roberto was prompt, and was in and out of our home in about 25 minutes.

We had a pipe let go under the kitchen sink on Sunday evening, I called Ayotte Plumbing on Monday morning around 9am. They gave me an appointment by 11am, The crew that they sent out was very fast, professional, courteous, and friendly.
(I have a dog, not so well mannered with strangers) They came in and took a look, and ended up not having the right part in the truck. But they said they would be back in 15 minutes.... and the were! The Plumber Tim and helper Matt were great! The broken pipe was replaced in about ten minutes! Thank you guys, Excellent Job!!!!

I have the (sometimes) unfortunate situation of living in a mixed-use building (commercial/residential), and it just so happens that a majority of my condo is right above a classroom of a local charter school.

That said, Roberto and his sidekick Matt were friendly, professional, and pretty efficient. They managed to fix the leak in the classroom below with no fuss. I'd selected Ayotte because they've been in both my unit and building previously, hunting down a separate leak.

-1 star: 2 different visits were required. The first was apparently just to scope out the situation, and the second to do the repair. Given the height of the ceiling below, a separate set of equipment was needed to gain access. I would've thought they'd have known about this given their experience in the building, and this unfortunately resulted in extra billed time. I'd definitely use Ayotte again, but with a friendly reminder during scheduling that special circumstances may apply.
