All the prior five stars reviews are correct. Juan and the gentleman that accompanied him did a fantastic job putting in a new toilet for me. Efficient, cleaned up everything afterwards, friendly, and most important...knowledgeable about plumbing. Extremely fair pricing. You get the sense he is a very honest individual and I sometimes get vibes from other professionals that they are trying to extract every dime they could from a job. I did not feel this at all with Juan. I didn't know anything about toilets and Juan spent time on the phone with me before I had even booked him for a job explaining details to look for that I wouldn't have known. Contacted him back once the toilet arrived and he promptly responded to my text with a day and time. Even took time after he finished the job to explain a separate issue I was having with one of my pipes regarding the washer (went down to the basement, etc.). I've stored his number in my phone and won't hesitate to call him back if any further plumbing issues should arise. He will be my ""go-to"" guy from here on out. 100% highly recommend.

Just like other reviewers stated, Juan was super responsive and reasonable. I sent in my request on Yelp and he was one of the first companies responded. Juan contacted me via phone and text, and sent me the quote and appointment within minutes! I'm so glad that I selected A&Y Plumbing based on the rave reviews from their customers. Hence I'm writing this review so others can benefit from their services.

We appreciate the professionalism and resourcefulness that Juan and his crew demonstrated throughout the whole process. They are not only very respectful and arrived on time, but also very good and thorough at what they do. They quickly identified and fixed the cause of the problem, explained how to prevent it from happening again, and also pointed out a couple of other areas to keep an eye on. My daughter was also very impressed by Juan's communication skills and mindfulness of the on-going pandemic. The crew strictly followed the CDC guidelines and kept their masks and shoe coverings on the whole time during the onsite visit.

Thank you Juan so much for all you did to save the day! You will be the first plumber in Chicago that we and our friends will call on in the years to come. Best wishes!

Juan was a pleasure to deal with! Knew he was going be late for my appointment and called me 10 minutes ahead of time to apologize for the delay and make sure it was still ok for him to come out. Then did the job quickly and explained what he had to do as he did it! Then charged less then half of other quotes I received! Would highly recommend Juan for all your plumbing needs!

Juan came out to replace a wax ring on a toilet. He quickly did the work and the toilet is now very secure. He was friendly and able to do the work with a days notice. Reasonable price and very responsive. I would definitely use him again for any plumbing work I need done.

It is hard to find words adequate enough to describe how truly awesome Juan is. I hired him to install a new toilet in my home. I had seen the wonderful reviews about him here on Yelp, and that made my decision much easier. Juan utterly exceeded everything I was anticipating. He was very responsive and communicative. He showed up on time, and even waited patiently outside when I was delayed answering the door. His son was with him, and was such a kind and proficient helper. They both had masks on the entire time they were on and in my property. I had bought this house earlier this year, and the old toilet was an utter mess. It had obviously not been maintained for years, and the wax ring had likely completely deteriorated. Needless to say, it was a very messy removal. However, Juan and his son very carefully removed the toilet, bagged it up, and then took it outside and into my trash bin. They then carefully cleaned the entire surface of the floor underneath the toilet before installing my new one. The installation was not straightforward because the plumbing under the toilet was slightly askew, and also about 1/2"" too close to the wall. Juan explained the situation to me, and gave me some options. We came to an agreement, and things went perfectly. He also went above and beyond to ensure that the new wax seal under the new toilet was as tight and leakproof as possible. They also cleaned up another area of my bathroom floor where foam spray had fallen a couple of weeks earlier, and had left some very resistent residue on the floor surface. I was not looking forward to having to try to remove that residue myself, and then lo and behold, Juan and his son just removed it for me. Juan is the type of contractor that you will wish you could hire to do all of the work in your house. He is a true diamond in the rough -- an extraordinary contractor and an extraordinary man. Highest praise possible!

This was the second time we have used A&Y plumbing and we couldn't be happier. After the first time my husband saved his contact info so when our sub pump went out we knew who to contact. Both times Juan had a very quick response response time. He is always incredibly efficient, and professional. Prices are fair and honest. Cannot say enough great things about Juan!

Read all the great reviews via Yelp and decided to contact Juan to replace/install of our kitchen sink and faucet. SO glad we did! Got an accurate quote immediately and got the job done very quickly. Juan and his team did a very clean and professional job (they even cleaned the area when done). Couldn't be happier. They also wore shoe covers and masks on the job which I greatly appreciated. Definitely would recommend to anyone that needs a plumbing job done right and at a reasonable price.

Juan and company were great. Contacted them using Yelp and he was out here the next day with a free estimate. He was able to start immediately which was also helpful and unexpected.
They fixed a severely clogged sink. Some copper water piping replacement that was showing signs of corrosion. Inspected what I thought was a severe leak that only turned out to be a slow leaking outdoor faucet. Even took the time to give me a helpful tutorial on adjusting the water level for my sump pump.
Keeping his info handy for our future needs. Would highly recommend.
