Rick was the first plumber that responded to me when I inquired about replacing my faucet and fixing a leak. He was transparent with the costs and any extra repairs that might push my total to the higher end of the quote. His price was in line with other quotes I was getting from other businesses. I chose him because of his response time. He also gave me tips on affordable faucets that he recommends for rental units. His business was able to get me in the quickest and I appreciated the thorough communication. Very nice guys that work here. Glenn fixed my faucet in less than an hour and everything looks great. I was nervous booking a plumber, so if you're looking for a reliable service with good prices I highly recommend this company. They are also taking Covid-19 seriously and make the trip as contactless as possible.

I've used Rick and Glenn with Austin's Best Plumbing for at least five years now and they are marvelous. They give you excellent service at a fair price. I am very happy I've found good and decent guys to help me out. Invariably something breaks down on Friday or Saturday night or some other inconvenient time, but they are always there on Monday to help me out. They are really the best in town.

Austin's Best Plumbing is truly the best! I can't recommend them enough whether the job is small or major! Unfortunately, my situation was extremely difficult to solve but they were always honest, responsive, and upfront about their reasonable prices. I have a condo that has always had lots of problems. I've never had any other contractor that continued to be so helpful when things went wrong. A lot of other people I've worked with kind of disappear when things get hard--particularly if they've already been paid. This is not at all the case with Austin's Best Plumbing. Not only did Joe, Glenn and Rick always return my calls in a very timely manner, they also called me twice after the job was totally finished just to make sure everything was still working correctly. No matter what happened, I felt like they were on my team, and when things aren't going right, having trusted allies makes all the difference in the world. They even helped me come up with fixes for issues that had nothing to do with plumbing and were actually problems with my gas service. Words can't express how much I appreciate them going above and beyond for me, but hopefully it gives you a good idea of who to call for your next plumbing job. (It's these guys--call these guys.)

Our drains started backing up and after a few DIY tries, I finally called Joe. He quickly responded over text and came over to take a look, immediately identifying a collapsed pipe w/ tree roots on the city side. We were able to get the city out to fix the issue the next day thanks to Joe!

We've been using Austin's Best Plumbing for the last few years for various jobs and each and every time we've been more than happy with Rick's service and very reasonable rates. Two days ago the hot water heater stopped working and Rick and Co. were able to come out the same day to see if the thing could be salvaged. (I always appreciate Rick's willingness to try and repair items if at all possible). A long time leak had left it rusted out but they were able to get a new one and install it the very next day. This involved no small amount of wrangling on their part and we're endlessly appreciative of them bending over backwards to help us out. Since it was Saturday, Rick was not available but I can tell you that Glenn and Joe do wonderful work. They arrived on time and were willing to answer all of our questions. I can't recommend them more highly!

I had to communicate with Rick from a distance, and he was very good at keeping me posted. He provided important information I used to decide to install hot water heaters to replace a tankless heater. He was prompt and kept commitments. Also friendly. I can't imagine anyone better.

I called Rick at Austin's Best Plumbing when my 9 year old hot water heater died. I called a total of 7 plumbers asking if it could be repaired. Rick was the ONLY plumber who said YES! My first water heater lasted 32 years so I assumed this was a repair issue. I received 3 estimates for new installations averaging $1200-1400. When Rick came to my home the next day, he took one look at the heater and said this can definitely be repaired. He replaced both of the heating elements and was done in less than an hour. It was clear to me that Rick is an exceptional man. He was kind, friendly, patient, professional, and explained everything he was doing. His rates are very reasonable and I will never call anyone but Rick for future plumbing needs!!

His pricing is reasonable and he has come to my rescue with short notice several times....and once Rick fixes something, it STAYS fixed!!! Rick was absolutely fantastic to work with, my girlfriend and I just bought a brand new home in East Austin and it has not been all sunshine and rainbows. From the second Rick picked up the phone out of the blue he helped us through a handful of issues right off the bat. He eventually needed to come out to fix a few brand new toilets for us and did so in style. His customer service and southern hospitality was second to none and we would recommend him to anyone who is dealing with any sort of water or plumbing issue!

Very nice guys! Had a lot of plumbing to be done including a pressure valve regulator, expansion tank for the water heater, replacing hose bibs plus syphon/back flow preventers, and fixed some bent tubing. They got it all done and had competitive prices.
